MargaretIII16 minutes in was enoughIf you want to hear a privileged white man's take on Austria, Slovenia and Hungary, than maybe you'll last longer than I did. The interview style played like mansplaining, and I cringed when the interviewee said that they don't really like to look for culture as it's not really something that exists (huh?). But finally turned off when they said "fat, European" with such disgust.

The awesome chicHard to listen toI’ve tried older episodes so maybe they’ve worked on the listenability but the “Oh for sure” and “I FEEL like” just over and over AND the upspeak. I just couldn’t take it.

RwdimennaInsightfulGreat podcast with two very experienced travelers. Their level of experience on the road really shines through in each episode, as they’re easily able to relate to their guests on each experience! I love this podcast!

BabyRooBooLove this show!Unique topics, informed hosts and interesting guests, this travel podcast has it all. I’ll definitely be listening into future episodes to see where travel is headed and for recommendations on where to visit next.
-
Bernie1320TerribleSorry, but I could not keep listening. I was looking for Iceland information and I found nothing useful in their episode. The vocal fry drove me insane, I just had to stop listening.
-
plastic sea spongeNot UsefulI gave their Czech Republic episode a try and was disappointed by the lack of curiosity in the traveler who went there. I want to listen to someone who is befriending locals and getting the most out of their experience, not describing it like their a child being asked how their day at school went. Also how do you get that far through life and never heard who Frank Kafka is? Or writing off a whole economic system because it happens to be Communistic? Someone pay me to travel and I’ll do a much better job than these dorks!
-
CPort's momOne of my favoritesThe episodes are much improved over the earliest versions and quite entertaining, informative and inspirational; makes me want to buy plane tix!

Brooke CravenAwesome Podcast!!Amanda

Moses Malone IIIFor the mindful travelerOf all the travel podcasts out there, this is probably my favorite...I appreciate their honesty and perspectives on places - as well as digging deep into the personal and spiritual aspects of travel. I enjoy how they tap into their feelings and emotions during various stages of their journeys, instead of just listing off things they saw and did. Also a good variety of interesting guests. The one negative is that there are often a lot of moments of ‘dead air’ , especially in the earlier episodes. However, they have improved on this quite a bit as the podcast has evolved. Keep up the solid work!!!

BryttaByersInspiring and educational podcastAmanda and Ryan’s podcast is truly inspiring and educational for anyone looking to travel the world. The experiences they share and the guests they have on the podcast are what make it feel like a global community. I could not recommend this podcast more and am so excited to listen to their next episode!

Annette & DanielA MUST Listen for Travel Lovers and Aspiring Digital NomadsThe World Wanderers podcast is amazing for anyone out there who loves listening to travel stories, honest conversations with other travelers, and aspiring digital nomads. Amanda and Ryan do an amazing job sharing their real experiences, and covering all of the aspects of travel, not just the ones that are sunshine and rainbows. Their positive outlook, captivating story-telling skills, and interesting guests makes me come back to listen to the podcast again and again. Thank you for providing a beacon of inspiration, information, and insight into the life of a traveler. You guys rock!

Bunnie7986DisappointedI was searching for a podcast about Taiwan so I could have my husband (white) listen and get a different perspective from mine and where I could also possibly learn as I didn’t grow up in my home country. I had to stop the podcast at about 19 minutes into it because I don’t feel like you guys are true travelers in search of an adventure - it feels more like you are doing to for the money and/or to say you did it. Your comment that Taipei/Taiwan should be power washed so that it can be more aesthetically pleasing might be true but that comment most likely rubbed a lot of people off the wrong way. You aren’t genuinely trying to be open and accepting of other cultures. A lot of countries are equally NOT aesthetically pleasing (have you seen downtown Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco - all of which are, if not more “dirty” than Taiwan will ever be). It also seems like you are not willing to try food from these different cultures where you would probably find yourself pleasantly surprised - even if the scents seem to be overpowering/pungent. True travel bloggers are open to trying experiences and food that they’ve never had.. even if it looks and smells intimidating. Your audience will respect you so much more if you give these things a chance and THEN say it’s not for you. I’ve only come across travel bloggers that inspire others to visit the countries they mention but yours seem to downright bash the country. I’m not saying these things because I love my country so much (I’m neutral) but you guys are not doing a good job as “world travelers” - it’s fine if you are doing this privately for just the two of you but if you are going to have a blog/podcast/social media, it is almost irresponsible/zero value to put out this kind of commentary. I’m glad my husband is open minded and loves Taiwanese food (amongst many other Asian dishes) - some of which are now his favorite things to eat. That is because he gave it a chance. Sorry to leave such a critical review but I hope people aren’t basing their travels off your podcast. I hope you guys have grown from your travels and are seeing the world from different lenses than the ones in 2017.

Fa Fa FlohighCringe worthyThese two are so boring and vapid. Don’t bother. And omg, the vocal fry!

ttt65488Hmm...Oooookay well... The idea for the podcast is good but the content should be taken with a grain of salt. As a frequent traveler with my own experience, I'm of course bound to disagree with what the hosts might think. At the same time, the complaints that seep into the dialogue are too self-serving and leave no mindful observation about a culture in which they are simply guests. The hosts are white and unfortunately, that says a lot about their perspective and commentary. If they stick to European or Western travel they'd probably enjoy their journey a lot more. I listened to the Hong Kong episode and there were many red flags. I was mystified that they said going to Tian Tan Buddha wasn't worth it because the touristy ski lift wasn't operating when they went. Lines are a part of life, friends. Not to mention that you don't have to be Buddhist yourself to appreciate the intention put into the establishment of such a site. I was surprised too when they said they didn't want to eat "Asian" food and even craved Western food the whole time they were there, and Amanda said she was gluten-free even as if to explain why she didn't want to try "Asian" food. Wow. I just don't find it relatable to my experiences or interests. I love trying local food anywhere I go. When else would I? The hosts admit their past travel experiences were centered around "nightlife." That means drinking and partying. I think that says a lot about their background. I would say travel is 40% observation and 60% understanding. Visiting countries alone doesn't teach you about the world if you aren't practicing understanding. Even though I give it two stars I think the content can improve if the hosts challenge themselves more.
-
Hungry.meInconsiderate and Ill-informed.Who the heck goes somewhere new and then complains about not trying any of the local food? ou went to another country and ate at western chains and Starbucks the whole time? You describe the locals as "ugly" and "weird"...what even is this show?
-
Shadeeyyyyy33345Fun and informative! They do a great job discussing their travels, philosophy, and interviewing guests. It is always enjoyable to listen to. Keep up the good work and enjoy your travels Ryan and Amanda:) Do give it a listen if you want to be inspired to travel!
-
denisemmtFull-Time Travel ExpertsI love this podcast! Full-time travel is amazing, but also challenging. Amanda and Ryan honestly share their insight!
-
ShawnG!Great travel podI only began listening to podcasts in 2018. This is one of the better travel podcasts that I subscribe to. I may not be in the same age group as the hosts, and I may never become a digital nomad, but I love hearing their stories, interviews, and suggestions.
-
JessLord86Enjoyable and helpfulWe stumbled upon the world wanderers when planning a trip to Southeast Asia. Their itineraries are useful to plan excursions. They are also just super friendly people. They are from Calgary Canada and helped us plan our trip to Banff National Park with restaurants, hikes, and other recommendations. Even better, we all met up for dinner! I think earlier episodes do show some naïveté and may appeal to younger travelers, while recent episodes show maturity and ponder more serious questions. Though I am not a digital nomad, information on that subject is interesting as well.

LilliancanoCzech solo travelFirst time listening to this podcast. Don’t know how else to describe this except 2 really dumb people travel around the world and attempt to describe their experiences with nifty quotes like “World War 2 happened so Hitler - he’s evil, and other evil people with mustaches... and Russia was also there” “We should make it into a comic book! Pow!” The stupidest podcast I’ve ever listened to, brought to you by 2 very dumb people. Wow. Maybe I should do a comic book about them.
-
EfddgggjutBasic touristsI listened to only one episode, about Hong Kong, and I was getting angry that these people think their perspective is worthy of a podcast. Twice they fail to get out because they just don’t feel like it that day, and at the end of the trip they express regret for not trying any of the local food (????). They go to Starbucks multiple times, upscale western restaurants, and complain about lines for the bus. At least now I know what I don’t want to do in Hong Kong.
-
vanessa3331InconsiderateIt is so hard to listen to these two complain about the places they visit. They need to learn some respect and appreciation for the people’s land that they are visiting. Locals do not owe you anything. Hearing about them complain about the cab drivers in Bali made me want to vomit. Do they not realize this is how the locals feed their family? While many privileged idiots come through using all their resources and want it for the cheapest price possible.

Heath | ArtsyNow.comCatalyst for making huge shifts to nomadnessThis show has been a staple for visualizing a travel lifestyle, planning a structure for leaping, taking actions to bring it to life, and creating location independent business opportunities to help sustain. The interviews and stories are mega bonuses to show all us “weird travelers” that we aren’t the only ones with a passion for culture, experience, and world growth. Thanks Ryan and Amanda🚀
-
TLM-Wanderlust indeed!I love listening to this podcast to gain insight on new places and listen to places I have been to before. I have had the pleasure to travel with these two back on The Contiki tour on the Greek island hop and hope to keep hearing more fun and exciting places to come. You two inspire me to keep on traveling!
-
alioop992Why so much Mexico?Mexico is cool and all, but shouldn’t a travel podcast focus on countries all over the world? There are 8 episodes on Mexico in the last 10 that show up.
-
VerDarLuzGreat Energy and InspirationA really wonderful podcast for learning about so many awesome places in the world. Luv the humor and playfulness, and real-ness in the conversation between Ryan and Amanda.
-
JamieNYCMany more podcasts that are betterThe perspectives offered in this podcast are from sheltered, rich, white kids talking about their travels with very little useful information. The episode on Mexico City blew my mind. The guy said there is nothing noteworthy to do in MEX. I went for 4 days with a huge list and ran out of time to do everything. Also there was a 10 minute rant about not getting a Christmas card for months. Also there was lots of complaining about the air quality. I mean girlfriend- That’s how big cities are!
-
JtimmerInteresting perspectiveI love this podcast though honestly I couldn’t be more different from the hosts. I crave stability, family, a sense of home. However I love to travel even if it’s not to exotic places. I appreciate their honesty and courage to march to a different drum. One criticism if I may, is that it sometimes feels a bit arrogant in how you have had the ability and interest to travel and live exotic places, but that isn’t possible for everyone or their interest and they are truly happy. I think sometimes you guys come off like you can’t believe that is possible. Just a thought. Safe travels and much luck!
-
travelandmishapsKeep up the inspiration!I’m a bit older of a traveler, but I love your youthful energy and insightful take aways about traveling in general. I teach full time so don’t get to do the digital nomad thing (though it’s a thought for retirement), but I do spend most of my summer traveling. During the school year, when I can’t get away as much, I travel vicariously through your podcast! Great interviews!! Great podcast!
-
lindseyrae23Love love loveAddicting and inspiring travel stories which is exactly what I need on a daily basis
-
ecduraNothing but complainingI tried to get through three episodes but couldn’t make it. These two sound so bored when they talk about their travels, and all they do is complain about their trips, how things are “disgusting” and “depressing” and how they are “accosted” by smells everywhere. It’s the least inspiring travel podcast I’ve listened to. They sound like they have little appreciation for local people and local culture. Just a couple of privileged millennials who shouldn’t have a podcast.
-
Elizabeth S KPerfect show for anyone who wants to travel!I love this show and highly recommend it! Amanda and Ryan have been to so many places and share good stories and excellent travel tips!
-
Sw33t_DeSo interesting!!Love hearing their stories!
-
DjjarkartaWe went to Starbucks twice.Horrible podcast. You said nothing about what to see and what to do. You were overwhelmed with your visit. Giant rat. Is that it? Show some enthusiasm for Pete’s sake. Dragon’s ?? You climbed for 4 hrs to watch surfers. Go home.
-
Adam SchaeubleWhat a great show!I wish I had more time to travel. When I do get a chance to travel I want to make it count. This is a great resource so that I can learn from Amanda and Ryan and use their experiences to enhance my own travel experiences and choose the best places to visit!
-
This Miss MelissGreat for frequent travelers!I have a travel blog, and I often listen to this podcast to get ideas for my upcoming travels. I feel like Amanda and Ryan are travel buddies of mine. Highly recommend.

-
KristieR11Great podcastIf you love traveling and are looking for some great information or some new places to discover then this is the podcast for you. This show provides you either insider information, great tips and inspiration for your next trip!
-
TravelingbudUghYour podcast on the trip to Taiwan was not very professional. The pronunciation of the places were pretty bad, so even if I wanted to find the places or try the foods, I just couldn't find it. In the future, if you do like something, please find the correct way of saying it. This didn't help encourage my visit to Taiwan. I will search elsewhere for a better podcast.
-
JmcarstNincompoopsThese two are the epitome of annoying millennials. We listen when we want a good laugh at how annoying some young travelers can be. The ridiculous vocal fry is worth the listen. Amazingly from both her and him .
-
GroenhagenTurned it off in the first 5 minutesSo boring to listen to... could not handle it. I’ll stick to Travellogue and EPOP podcasts!
