I'm a big fan of the CKC podcast, and I always look forward to their next GoT/HotD update! Jason and Cristina have pleasant, friendly voices that make their podcast "easy listening". Their podcast is fun, laid-back, and informative. Keep up the good work!

I really enjoyed the house of the dragon S1 & S2 episodes, but the recent move of asking for money to listen to the finale turned me off from this podcast entirely. I respect what you guys are trying to do but from a consumer standpoint this is so disappointing. Another instance of something that is supposed to be enjoyable falling victim to consumerism. Removing my following and finding another podcast that will cover full seasons.

I enjoy this podcast and truly appreciate the work and energy you guys put into it, but covering the entire HOD season here and then withholding the finale episode unless we pay for it on a separate platform was the wrong move. I understand your situation, and I get what you are trying to do, but it could’ve been done differently, instead of misleading us into thinking we were getting an episode and then forcing us to go pay for it…after an entire season of episodes! If you do this because you truly enjoy it, and it’s not your livelihood, then manipulative money grabs like that shouldn’t be necessary. There are other ways to grow listenership over on the paid platform. I’m sorry, but I won’t go pay for it, and I likely won’t tune in here anymore either. I do wish you guys the best and hope you didn’t just shoot yourselves in the foot with that not cool maneuver.

Commented on Cristina doing this with GOT & she’s still doing it w HOD - mispronouncing character names. It’s irritating. DB did it during the “end of episode” discussions for GOT - pronounced 4 or 5 character names wrong and it’s like WHAT?? You’ve been writing this show for so many years now…on film sets, doing endless table reads, your whole life is GOT and u can’t say their names? Now for HOD she says VISS-AIR-EES but it’s VISS-AIR-ISS and a cpl other names…come on!

So I love the content you guys put out! And the information you guys give on the shows is great. However lol… it is a HUGE pet peeve that y’all mispronounce SOOOOO many names! It literally makes it hard to listen to the show at times lol. I know that’s probably very “Karen-y” 😂 but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get the pronunciation right 🙏🏼 Also… when y’all were naming the green and black houses and the children in them… you didn’t mention the two children by Rhaenyra and Daemon?!

I've tried a number of different GOT podcasts, and this is BY FAR the best. Unlike the other podcasts that focus primarily on the battles and the gore and the special-effects, these hosts (especially Cristina) delve into the emotions of the characters and their human inter-dynamics. This gives you great insight into each episode, and sparks of what might unfold in the future. It's a perfect blend of the TV show and just a sprinkling of tidbits from the books, that gives you a deeper understanding of the show. One that you won't get just by watching the show yourself. There is great chemistry between Jason and Cristina that makes you feel part of a larger community of GOT fans. Don't miss this GOT pod!

I just wanted to write again about how much I love this podcast. I’ve Been a. Klatcher for a about a year. Listening for theee years. You do alll my favorite shows. Just glad I found this podcast. I love you guys! Very informative and relevant! I love how you break each episode down and I so agree with your final episode reviews! It was so rushed! The whole season was rushed! It seems after Dany’s death that should have been the end of that episode! The first half was absolutely great. The visual of the dragon behind Dany spreading its wings, I want that poster! Anyway, love you guys and keep up the good work!

Jason and Cristina do it again, another in depth review of everyone's fav fantasy series! If you're looking for a podcast that will give you a fair and balance review then you have found it.

I found this podcast a week before the GOT finale and binged all the episodes for the final season and a couple for season 7. I love the conversations, the insight, the various topics and behind the scenes facts that are mentioned in the episodes. You can tell that Jason and Cristina really do their research and they’re not just on air chatting about stuff blindly. They also have great voices which make it easy to listen to and engage in. Now that GOT is over, I started watching Westworld and am listening to the Westworld episodes with Jason and Cristina too. It’s like a having a good conversation over coffee about something you love :)

This is the Game of Thrones podcast to listen to if you want to enjoy the show that is being presented. This is not for people who want a different experience of Game of Thrones. Most other podcasts I found to be too negative. They acknowledge story holes, but still love GoT, offering analysis and lots of nerdy background!

Three minutes until the series finale!!! Thank you guys for this podcast. I am a seamstress and have the awesome ability to be able to listen to podcasts at work. Found you through magicians and stayed on for this wild ride. For better or worse, this show has given so many people something in common. Thank you for all that you do. You guys are amazing. I'm usually too lazy to write reviews but wow this podcast is awesome! I've become obsessed with these two hosts, and luckily they have a website and other great podcasts I can listen to as well. I am starting to watch all the shows they cover just so I can listen to them! They are insightful and have in depth analysis, I am so impressed with how well they gather the general vibe of how people feel about each episode and give well thought out insights from the books. This podcast enhances how I watch GoT and honestly, that's what every podcast should do. Thank you for being by far the best GoT podcast I've listened to! The CKC do the most listenable recaps and analysis of GOT, without getting caught up thinking they are more tuned in than others. Great chemistry between the hosts and the eps are always fun yet insightful from a fans perspective. Great listening. Way to go CKC!

I listen to several GOT podcasts and this one has a refreshing take- not necessarily content, but delivery. It’s more..even keeled? Cerebral? Fun but not boisterous? Hard to put my finger on it. I just know I wish I would have discovered this a year ago.

I really enjoy your analysis of the episodes. I am so curious to hear your thoughts a few days after episode 5. Days later I still struggle with the shift to Mad Queen. We’ve seen Dany exhibit vengeance and ruthlessness but always in response to a betrayal or to save/free/protect innocent people. We’ve never seen her be callous with innocent people. Innocents elicit compassion and empathy from Dany. Or am I missing something? Her decision to kill the Tarley’s for not bending the knee after losing the battle was bad. But I really thought she realized that during her conversation with Sam.

Everyone, even someone who would rate this ep a 1 outta 10 loves this show and we love it so much that we’ll even put up with the pure crap we’ve been shoveled so much this season... I listen to these podcasts to get the real so if your giving episodes 7s when you want to give it a 5 or 4 because you see what so many of us obviously see (The precipitous drop in writing quality)then do that! Don’t cave in or my next rating will be a 1star! A lot of things in this ep was stupid, straight up ... it would make you guys look worse to pretend like it wasn’t... so keep it REAL, thanks

CKC provide my favorite podcast to geek out on my favorite shows, Game of Thrones and The Magicians. When many podcasts have a ‘bro’ vibe which isn’t fun for me as a woman and feminist to listen to, CKC features a super smart woman and her cool fan boy fiancé. It’s always a fun listen with good vibes and a fair critique of each episode.

I just found you at the end of season 7. However, I love everything about this podcast and it is my favorite GOT podcast of all. I’m sad it’s almost over but I am in it until the end!

One of my fave podcasts! These two are great, thorough, and honest. Also great podcast voices and easy to listen to.

I listen to more than 8 different podcasts about Game of Thrones, and several others on YouTube and this is my favorite! Good background/book info and I always experience the same emotions and devotions Jason and Christina do. They stay on topic, have good humor and don’t miss the little details in the show. Their speculations and predictions stay close to the track of the show’s plots, unlike some other podcasters.

But inconsistent about releasing the podcasts on time.

I absolutely adore the work both of these hosts put into all of their podcasts! I have listen to every episode of The Magicians, I Westworld, Mr. Robot, and now Game of Thrones. I am an elementary schoolteacher who gets up at 4:30 am., meaning I don’t watch TV during the week. However – I’m always so excited to see that a new episode of their podcast has dropped that I go ahead and stay up late (ON A SCHOOL NIGHT) so that I can listen to their reviews the next morning. That is quite a testament to you how great the podcast is! Jason and Christina, thank you for all you do, and congrats (belatedly) on your engagement! (Hearing your proposal made me cry. 💙😭💙) (Of course that also may have resulted from the sleep deprivation… LOL!)

So I only thought to check out if there were GoT podcasts right before the season. This one looked the most interesting and I’m glad I picked it! I’m subscribed to most of the game of thrones podcasts, but look forward to this one coming out most of all! I really love the deep dive they do— they have a large base of knowledge, and a lot of interesting theories. I always end the podcast with lots of food for thought.
