I really like the show. It’s informative and entertaining. However, a lot of the callers are what I would call “humble braggers,” those who have multi-millions saved for retirement and just seem to want a pat on the back.

Always excellent! Appreciate the points made on hiring 3rd party trustee and fiduciary to remove oneself from risk of litigation. By the way: if one wishes one of those nice cars from OC, just wait for the next recession when the cars get seized. Large segment of big hat no cattle car owners.

I’ve followed these guys for about 20 years. Based on the information from their radio shows I made financial choices that now allow our retirement to be well funded. When I retired we became AllWorth clients. The podcasts are a fun listen and I appreciate the ideas shared.

I’d give this show five stars if they didn’t have guests and just took calls the whole time. They do an outstanding job with their callers. The guests they have on there is just a huge waste of time.

I stumbled upon this podcast a few months ago and have just devoured episodes. Scott and Pat provide very practical and realistic financial opinions about a wide variety of applicable topics. They are genuine and natural hosts that really have a passion for sound investing. I never write reviews for podcasts but I cannot recommend this podcast enough. At a time when most voices are polarizing and extreme and shocking, there’s something incredibly refreshing about their reasonable and intelligent approaches to complex financial issues. I recommend them to absolutely everyone.

A favorite podcast of mine. I started listening by accident a few years back and now find it a most trusted and relevant source of information. The variety of calls is wonderful. I’ve been able to learn concepts that don’t only help me but allows me to help others. Probably the hardest and most important thing is not tell people what to do but tell them what I would do if I were in their situation. Nobody will have 100% of the answers all the time but these guys will say, I don’t know, which allows me to continue to investigate.

When my husband talks to me about financial stuff I always was left feeling really dumb. Listening to your podcast has helped me understand financial matters and I actually advised my husband on something he hadn’t thought of ! Thanks Scott and Pat for the entertaining way of teaching ❤️

Ever since suze orman went off the air I’ve been looking for something else to listen to (that I can trust)for help to understand my everyday financial situation.

I look forward to hearing Scott and Pat every Saturday morning. I actually wish the show/podcast was longer. I have learned a crazy amount listening to this show over the last few years. They have great humor and a way to explain things that does not require an advanced financial degree to understand.

Scott and Pat give callers practical financial advice while also entertaining podcast listeners with some added humor. By far the best financial podcast that I have listened to.

Very educational !!! & entertaining

I have been following you guys for years and love the advice. I do think you guys missed the mark for the 84 year old woman (Karen)who had 400k in investments and owned outright her home at 350k. You advised to spend money without any mention of her monthly expenses and without mention what would happen if she can’t take care of her home or if she would need to go to a care facility (independent/assisted living). Her assets would get chewed up fast if that happened. Maybe her professional kids want her to preserve capital if she doesn’t have the capacity to take care of herself? Should she travel? Absolutely! She should be mindful that the next stage of life without a home and need assistance is just around the corner. Maybe Karen’s thought process would be different if it were mentioned?

Pat and Scott are hilarious with their personal experiences while getting down to brass tacks with advice to their callers! I have been a client of allworth for 30 years and I listen every week to this very informative, current financial discussion. It’s interesting to hear what other situations are out there. I especially like the segment where Pat and Scott go back to an original caller and ask if and how they followed their advice.. Great Job!

Love these guys. They always give good unbiased advice. I have been listening for over 20 years. I remember they wanted to have a habitrail around the top of the first office so they could have a hamster run.

Never called in, I would like to one day, but my questions would be to philosophical I think. I am client of Allworth, and like listening to the podcasts, I find it keeps me enlightened beyond the normal financial advisor stuff.

I have listened to Money Matters for many years and have consulted with Allworth Financial a couple of times. Their advice is truly from a fiduciary perspective and never includes the promotion of financial schemes. Plus it always is topical. One question that my wife and I have is, what is the catchy music that introduces the podcast? We’ve tried to identify it with Shazam without luck.

Scott and Pat, you guys are terrific. As someone who worked in the banking arena for almost 40 years, I really enjoy your podcasts. You do a great job simplifying someone else’s issue and provide some great advice. Don’t know that I garner much new info, but I truly enjoy listening to how other people take control of their personal financial issues. Keep up the great work!
