This is a great podcast. Bruce gives off a very calm demeanor and a cool vibe making the guest feel comfortable sharing their stories. Listen, Bruce does a great job bringing in relevant guests from the pizza and marketing industry that really bring forth good insight. It doesn't matter how long or how new you are to the pizza business, there is something for everyone and I continually pull good tips, processes and proceedures from this show. Highly recommned it.

So many podcasts are just restaurateurs telling war stories and sharing the same basic info. Bruce targets specific areas of marketing that the everyday restaurateur can use a little help with. The podcast serves as a tremendous tool for marketing. The content provided for FREE on the Podcast is more valuable than the paid content many “consultants” try to sell. If you get off your butt and put into action some of the suggestions you hear discussed on this Podcast you will definitely see bottom line results. Things are thoroughly explained in an easy to understand manner. Some of today’s tech tools can get a little confusing, but I really appreciate how through discussion Bruce helps explain how to use these tools in a manner I can easily understand and then implement.

I came across Bruce's podcast after I realized I wanted to open and operate my own pizza shop. The SPM podcast has really helped immerse me in knowledge of the industry significantly faster than I could have hoped to do without it. Bruce sits down with both big and small industry leaders. The show isn't just about marketing, either: topics are anything from hiring employees, to stories about starting up and early funding, to how to set a vision for success ("Replay: Getting a Clear Vision for your Business, Staff, and Yourself," an episode I wound up sharing with a team I'm on that isn't related to pizza at all). Interviews are done in a casual, conversation-like setting, and the episode length of, generally, 25 to 40 minutes makes it extremely easy to knock out an episode at the gym or while driving. If you're new to the industry or want to expand your current business, Bruce's Smart Pizza Marketing podcast provides a ton of insights, opinions, and strategies that you'd be criminally negligent to ignore. - Grant
