    Love these guys
I’ve been a long time reader of Ray’s website - dcrainmaker.com, and I love the podcast too. Ray and Shane discuss the ins and outs of Fitness technology and related topics in an entertaining, humorous, and informative manner. Definitely worth listening to.

Easiest way to be technologically current in cycling
These two cover new technology offered to cyclists and evaluate it at a high level without blatant promotion. I know of no easier or even competent way to do that. I enjoy their relatively even handed assessment of how actually useful/valuable individual products would be for different types of riders. They are not blindly fanboys of everything new. The podcast is a quality experience and worth following for the cyclist who wants a balanced overview.

The Beat Sports Tech Podcast in Town
Much like the DCRainmaker site, this is the definitive podcast for everything sports tech. The discussions are intelligent, detailed, and entertaining. Of the many podcasts that I download, this is one that I never skip when it appears in my queue.

This is by far the best pod for fitness tech and reviews. The mix of industry news, reviews and the banter between Ray and Shane will keep you coming back for more.

    Great podcast
Lots of good info on the latest sports technologies! One improvement suggestion: Make sure to briefly explain products and acronyms before delving into deep discussions on them. Don’t assume listener familiarity with each topic. E.g. if saying product A has problem in ERG mode, throw in there “For those of you not familiar, ERG mode is ...” or when talking about delays in production of so and so Kickstarter product, give the elevator speech on what that product does. I think this would make the show appeal to a wider audience, or be easier to follow by techies that just don’t know all the gadgets and jargon you bring up. Other than that, keep up the great work!

    Fantastic Podcast
All the info you need from two leaders in world of sports tech, and deinitely not of the infomercial variety like some of the other players out there. Well done guys.

Great Bike Tech and Training Tech Podcast
DC and the Llama are outstanding bike tech and training tech geeks, who test, use, are objective, speak truth, are cutting edge and are entertaining as well. This is a must subscribe podcast if you (like me) are into this space.

    Great Podcast
I like this format of a structured format but casual chat about these topics. They take apart some of the issues and topics in a meaningful way and it’s entertaining as well! This is a perfect combination.

    Better than Nutella
It's not often I say things are better than the world's greatest engineered food, Nutella, but when I do, I reserve it for truly wonderful things such as this podcast. Well done Ray and Shane on a great format, tone and content.

    Computrainer Rocks
My daily trainer for the past 20years. Happy to say it’s not in an attic and use it to train for the big races outside the Zwift realm. Great review on the bridge, background in the CT demise, possible rebirth from a cave the owner has retreated. 20 years life span on a trainer to introduced many of us to training with power would be a good marketing moto. Unfortunately, thinking like a Steven King “Pet Cemetery” fan I’m kind of thinking it CT was brought back to life... it might turn evil. Good stuff guys. Tell us who is Moulder and who is Scully.

Great overview of fit tech for anyone!
Been following these guys for a long time, glad they have the cast up and running again. I don’t buy a single fitness gadget without their reviews first, super thorough, super knowledgeable and super fun listen. Highly recommend
  • Sean_Hale
    Exceeded expectations
If you love tech but don’t have time to read reviews on everything that comes out, this podcast is for you. The guys have a great rapport, and are great communicators of information. I always read the DC Rainmaker review prior to a purchase, but now it’s way easier to get the nitty gritty on all new tech.
  • Matt A (ELC)
    Great listen
Was a major fan of the DC rainmaker site, so when I heard that the podcast was coming I was siked, and it has lived up to my expectations. I look forward putting it on each week and listening during a workout! Love the show! Keep it up!

DC & GP - Sports tech lovers rejoice
If you're into sports tech (bike tech especially) you already know DC Rainmaker and GP Lama (Shane Miller). They know their stuff, they're honest, they’re thorough, and they truly care about the tech and how it influences the end-user. There’s something about the laid-back format of these podcasts I absolutely love.
  • KiwiAdventuresCoffee
    Great work Ray
Ray does an excelent job here. He's factual and knows more about fitness gadgets than anyone else out there, besides maybe the engineers who designed them. His co-host ... He's very different to Ray. There are crude jokes which really don't fit well with Ray being so upstanding. It's because of this that I took off one star. So if you want to hear what's going on with fitness tech or have a quesiton answered (seems some questions take 9 months to get answered though), then this is the only podcast to listen to.

    Great mix
Great mix of sports technology and entertainment. I like Ben's humor a lot and Ray seems to know everything about sports tech. Keep the show running - Greetings from Germany

    Info and entertainment
I've appreciated Ray's DC Rainmaker blog for years. This podcast is a great supplement to the blog. Ben and Ray work well together, even if Ben is a little over the top on occasion.
  • GTHarold
    One of my favorites
Ray and Ben are terrific together. Give great info with just the right amount of humor. Caller questions are also funny.

Great show - needs someone other than TRS
Ray is great, but TRS’ humor is just awful.

    Best Sport/Tech Info Out There
Ben Hobbs does a great job of navigating all the training tech options available with insightful reviews and to the point responses to Q&A. Ray, mostly there for comic relief and to provide an ex-pat’s point of view, comes up with a decent one-liner from time to time…

    Great tech and triathlon show
These guys play off each other really well. Love the show. Gfy!!!!

    Interesting for a Runner
I really like the DC Rainmaker blog, and this gives another presentation on Ray’s testing of running, swimming, and biking gear. OK, Ray’s a triathlete and I run, but I still find it interesting to hear how the Apple watch survived his swimming and diving test. A lot of reviewers accept and keep the merchandise. Ray returns it and buys one if he wants to keep it. So many running reviews seem to always be positive. Ray will be critical and he compares various brands and models. He’s not afraid to say this is for beginners or this is for more advanced athletes. The blog has some more information including interesting comparisons of popular marathon training programs and recommendations based on you experience and goals. The pacing of the podcast could be a little faster so it would fit my commute better, but I can always listen to it the next time I get on the subway.

    Master of Product Reviews
Always been a big fan of the website, this is a great companion piece. Not so sure about his emcee Ben, but a good podcast overall.
  • BrandanSuperfly
    Great show
Would love to see the show length increase by 15 minutes or so. I know both of you guys are very busy, but 30 minutes seems short. Thanks for putting this together!
