I could listen to Matt all day. I grew up going to malls with my mom and have great memories and am still interested in the rise and fall of malls. Mark mentioning he doesn’t want to go into Macys 6000 times an episode gets old but it’s still super enjoyable.

I love this podcast! It’s like you’re in between two best friends on a trip to the local mall. It has actually gotten me to start Strip-Mall Walkin (I don’t live too close to an actual mall). I go to different strip malls in my surrounding towns and walk around, enjoy the shops and give it my own ratings. Am I old and corny? According to my 16 year old, YES! But am I having fun? Absolutely! Thank you, Matt and Mark for the inspiration and good times!

Enough said.

Whenever your “tree hugger/if you don’t eat fruit and berries like us you’re stupid” side comes out, it’s really hard for me to listen. We all don’t live on the left coast. We don’t think like you do. So when you mix in your “I think I’m better than you because you eat fried foods” or “I’m not using X because of Elon Musk” it just pushed me out of your followers list. I listen to podcasts to escape from crap like that. I liked your show about nothing. It was pretty fun. But ultimately I had to make a choice. And you guys are no longer on my list of podcasts. That’s not to say some day in the future I may follow you again but as of today, the tribe has spoken (the tribe consisting of only me).

Can we please have a t-shirt that says “My friend Courtney said we can do this!”?

Best unnecessary podcast ever.

I started listening out of curiosity, and as a former weird mall kid. I stayed for the banter, Star Wars references, and escalator songs. After bingeing a bunch of the PSR back catalogue, so much more makes sense, and makes me laugh harder. Please go to another actual massage place. I was dying as you attempted to talk while sounding as if you were being beaten.

He’s my favorite cool metal guy.

Probably my favorite mall walking podcast at the moment. These guys bring a fresh and humorous angle to the category. If you are a fan of mall walking content, I highly recommend this. If you aren’t seriously into mall walking, probably a lot of the references will go over your head, but there’s still something for everyone here.

This is a great podcast and I feel you guys need to end all your shows with a message and skip the chairs.

I don’t know why, but it’s strangely satisfying. A bit of nostalgia as malls are taking a nosedive nationally. Matt and Sona are just amazing and I could listen to them all day long.

I never dreamed l would enjoy a podcast about malls. Part cultural criticism, part buddy interview, part nostalgia, and lots of geek.

A walk down memory lane with the ultimate tour guides! You feel like you are there with them, and it’s just such a lovely little adventure. Please make as many as possible!

Can someone please explain why this pod is so entertaining?? I came for Matt (i didn’t know Pistol Shrimp existed until now) and stayed for Matt and Mark’s banter. I heard Matt mention it on Conan’s pod and thought about checking it out, but it wasn’t until The Guardian’s rec that I finally took a listen. It’s inexplicably entertaining. Can’t wait until I catch up to the Sona eps. PS, L’occitane is “lowk-see-tahn” :-)

I’m absolutely riveted. Fake Runts, returns, window displays, followed by mall cops, stores of yesteryear and their empty replacements. The mall. It not your 1980s fun factory and I can’t find the Orange Julius Stand in the food court but this pod is close enough.

I am a fan of Matt(and Sona) from that other show. I say Sona has to be a permanent part of this. She brings the magic. Much better with her I enjoy it when I’m walking around the forest

Another great episode! So much fun and relaxing to listen to. And Sona adds lots to the dynamic. I really want another podcast where Matt and Jordan do a Star Wars knowledge battle.
