waytosanjoseCatholic shock jockeryThe latest episode takes reactionary shock jock Catholic journalism to a new low. When focusing on the LGBTQIA community maybe the first port of call should be the Vatican where , per Frederic Martels internationally accepted and verified expose , one third of priests inhabiting it’s environs , are practising homosexuals. The ultimate irony is that the shock jocks fronting this Trumpian version of Catholicism are the absolute antithesis of Christian love.

buggatti royalOutstandingEvery Catholic should listen to this we hear so much about st. Thomas but very rarely taught in modern schools , at our school we had jesuits and nuns as well as teachers and they seemed to reference him all the time brilliant keep it up

w0tsitGreat host and guests.A wonderful, super entertaining podcast. I listened to this podcast as an agnostic and even when I wasn’t Christian the guests were just super interesting to listen to, to get to know and Matt is a great host.

Capn_ChaosFr Andrew Dalton episodeAbsolutely amazing 3 hours. Such a scholarly guest. Remarkable episode. Let’s all go on a quest to send this episode to at least one person, if not more. Best Shroud podcast I’ve heard, and I’ve heard many.

Alfie the hatI have toI was really tempted to give this podcast one star because I disagree with them on practically everything that matters. But I’m not going to, because all of it is extremely entertaining and they’re clearly intelligent people, and even if I challenge everything they say, there’s something about them which appeals to me and makes me feel as if I’d be somehow lying if chose to give them a purely negative review. Whatever this feeling is, it deserves five stars, with one deducted from the podcast rating because of our contrasting opinions.

Shiltron1314Just the tonicWhen I engage with philosophy, I quickly find that I am not as smart as I think I am. Similarly, when I encounter ‘smart’ arguments which run contrary to religious instinct, I struggle to stand up or to knowing what feels wrong, but not quite having the right answer. I am now on my 8th pint with Aquinas, and look forward to more !

Alexandr06Love your podcastI’m with Lizzie, you’re the best interviewer out there. I love listening to your podcast, but I didn’t know what’s so special about you, then I heard her saying it, “you hit every point. “ God bless, keep up your good work.

Conortrg1Engaging and perfect for the lay catholic (most of the time) :)Matt Fradd does so much good work for the Church. Starting out on my reversion, he provided a gateway in to a world that I didn't know existed. Can't thank him enough for this podcast and all the other wonderful things he does to bring the faith to life. Cheers mate.

BusyLittleCreatureFantastic, solid, orthodox Catholic teachingJust getting to the end of working my way through Matt’s back catalogue and finally decided to write a review. Matt is really easy to listen to and he brings on learned and engaging people to give really strong, Catholic philosophy, theology and teaching, based on Aquinas’ works. He tells it how it is with love and charity, but also doesn’t care to much about whether you agree or like it! This is the church’s teaching; bloody-well deal with it (with an Aussie accent).

TeeFOCHonestI am a catholic who has returned to the faith. Whilst I do not agree with everything Matt says it is his willingness to say what he thinks and feels that makes this podcast so engaging. Keep up the great work!

JonnyBoyy1981Brilliant!!Really really great podcast for anyone wanting to understand theology in a simple way to understand. Pints with Aquinas is my go to podcast. Thanks Matt and God bless :)

AnnaBanziThank you so much!I’m a 19 year old cradle Catholic and after thinking that I knew pretty much all there was to know about my faith, this podcast came to prove me completely wrong. Its reignited an interest in Catholicism for me and I’ve grown so much is love for God and Thomas Aquinas because of it. Every episode I learn something new. Matt, if you’re reading this: I cannot thank you enough for this podcast. Please keep up the great work you do!

tyrannobexConsistently enrichingPints with Aquinas does me so much good. I come away with something to contemplate every time I listen. Thank you, Mr. Fradd, for making Aquinas accessible even to a busy, brain-fried mum of small children!

Troggie1Not to be missedI came upon “Pints with Aquinas” quite by accident. I was looking for some information on Internet about Aquinas and was intrigued by the name! Matt has since then brightened up each week and inspired me to get thinking seriously about matters of Faith and Reason. It has really been enriching to learn about and from Aquinas. Matt carries his learning lightly and delivers the material in such and engaging, enthusiastic style.

LauraaaEMakes Aquinas AccessibleHaving recently discovered these podcasts, I can't recommend them enough! I've always been too intimidated to try and read Aquinas, but Matt breaks each topic in to bitesize chunks, making them easy to follow and really enjoyable to listen to.

Ak123456omgA pint of the good stuffI'll admit, having struggled to get through the Summa in the past I doubted how effectively a person could make the topics approachable, fun and yet still keep to the rich rigorous foundations of the Summa. Not only has Matt Fradd managed to do exactly that, but he's rekindled a love for this amazing work. 20 episodes in I purchased a 5 volume hardback set of the Summa and am enjoying reading along, and reading it myself. It's like opening it for the first time. Not only do I want to now share a pint with Tommy, but I wouldn't mind a nice pilsner with Matt if he ever swings by London!

KiwiMattyGreat introduction to Aquinas!I came across this podcast having just sent out a message out to my FB friends asking for recommendations for good podcasts. Matt's style is very accessible, humble, and he clearly loves this subject, which makes the content much more engaging. He picks out individual aspects of the Summa Theologica and illustrates it with relevant and understandable anecdotes. He even gave away a book recently (gutted I missed out)! Matt, I know you'll see this - I'd love to hear you unpack what the Angelic Doctor has to say about i) heavenly union with God ii) limits of time and space and implications of this (is my redeemed self looking down on my earthly self at this moment?) iii) foundations of human rights iv) Christian statecraft / politics. Keep up the good work!

AWaspGreat introduction to Thomas AquinasI've been listening to these podcasts for a few weeks now. I've always considered Thomas Aquinas as above my ability but Matt explains it well. It has wetted my appetite to the point I have asked for a copy of the Summa of the Summa for Father's Day. Thanks Matt!

EmmaFraddIntellectual Genius made comprehensiveMatt’s accent accompanies a comprehensive approach to St Thomas Aquinas’ compact brain, making for an easy to learn, enjoyable podcast

cmcnicAmazing Podcast - a must listen! There's no denying St Thomas is one of the greatest minds to ever grace this earth, and to have one of the greatest Catholic speakers presenting a podcast on his teachings and ideas is simply incredible! I cannot rate this podcast highly enough. Matt Fradd not only talks through St Thomas' teachings but does so in a manner that is simple and easy to understand. Cannot wait to hear the future podcasts. Keep up the great work!
