This podcast needs to be prescribed on the national health service / by medical professionals worldwide. It’s so hilarious, so thought provoking and you feel like you’re sat having a glass of fizzy rosé with good pals. I can’t stop cheesy grinning any time I listen, and as a big fan of all the shows they review (Traitors, Bad Sisters, Happy Valley, LoD) it says a lot that the second the credits roll,,, I am as excited to rush to the podcast app and get Shrine on!

Love this podcast. All of their LoD episodes are must-listens, they add so much to the show. Currently watching Happy Valley S3 and love hearing B, H and R discussing each episode. So funny and warm.

Thank you for the laughs, the insights whether right or wrong I really enjoyed them really fun great energy, entertaining and solace as we yearn for Season 7. I barely survived police corruption in New York City NYPD with Protection of internal affairs for my suggestion for season seven is an expanded division of internal affairs by H which I think is Osborone, the senior woman who told Hasting he is resigning and the character Anne plays but the expansion is to cover up even more corruption

I enjoy LOD, but am not a fanatic by any means. Still, I relied upon the Guardian recaps by the marvelous Sarah Hughes to unpack the latest Ep and the. Five into the BTL for a laugh. Then, with Hughes’ terrible death, I felt a bit lost, and couldn’t bear reading some other recap on another website. Instead, I decided to poke around for a podcast to help analyze the latest Ep (S06E04), and stumbled on this one. I listened to it on 1.5x speed while on a long run, and nearly hyperventilated trying to follow the hilarity of a bunch of Irish squirrels on helium galloping and gasping and laughing through their recap. Definately listen on regular speed if you do listen. And you should listen. I’ve absolutely loved going through this amazing archive of wonderful recaps. In fact, I knew I loved them when I realized I was frantic after the latest episode, realizing the next recap wouldn’t be until Wednesday, maybe Thursday! It didn’t disappoint. A lovely aside for their discussion on the runaway game of the podcast itself, and then a delightful recap, analysis of fan theories, and discussion. Just a total joy. Thanks!

So I’m an American who subscribes to a VPN service JUST so I can watch LOD when the new season comes out in the UK... so, when I came across this podcast, it was immediately obvious that Rebecca, Brendan, & Hannah shared my enthusiasm (x 10000) for the show. I listen to their banter with a huge smile on my face. Actually, I’m pretty certain I could listen to them read a phone book and be just as entertained. The only thing I look forward to as much as the latest episode of LOD, is the following Shrine of Duty!

April 8 episode is impossible to hear properly. One is speaking so fast it’s insane. Slow the f down!!! Another’s mic isn’t working properly and sounds muffled. And no one seems to notice?!

I stumbled across this podcast via Twitter. I don’t typically listen to fan-created podcasts for tv shows, only creator-led ones (for shows like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul). I made an exception for this podcast and I’m so glad I did. The hosts are fun, funny, insightful, and such huge fans of the show. I love how they dissect every look, every line...and how they welcome listener mail and social media comments to use as springboards for discussion. I’m an American and it sounds like you could walk into any workplace on a Monday when the show was originally airing and everyone was talking about it. I’m an American and have no one to talk to about this show so this podcast has been like LOD therapy for me. I’d already watched series 5 by the time I found this podcast but loved listening to the podcast and then going back to rewatch an episode with an eye out for things mentioned in the podcast the first time around. I’d listen to these 3 talk about anything. Love them and this podcast. #NoWayAreHastingsArnottOrFlemingBent

Love the commentary and insights! Great recaps and in-depth discussion of every plot twist (of which there are too many to count), each character’s arch (most long and twisted) and the latest conspiracy theories (regardless of how outlandish they may sound). The hosts are knowledgeable and obviously enthusiastic fans of the show and it’s obvious they enjoy talking about all things LOD.. but always with humor and wit. As a fan from across The Pond, thank you for this great podcast and I’m looking forward to listening to each podcast for the remainder of Series5 and beyond!! Cheers!!!
