Love me some Puerto Rican Pan de Agua. Matt should be familiar. Crunchy on the outside so soft and fluffy on the inside. Love this podcast. This is The Premier podcast for sure!

    Defends disgusting child mutiliation
This podcast wouldn’t review Hogwarts Legacy bc of JK Rowling’s sensible stance on biological sex. They should be cancelled for being okay with child mutilation. In a sane world this would not even be an issue.

    Who is this for?
I’ve been trying out other games podcasts to replace Jeff Gerstman’s pod and Giant bomb. These people try to be funny and fail. The latest episode opened with an unfunny skit and then they tried to improv more unfunny talk and took 18 minutes to get to any game talk.

    Absurd high notes
I make time to listen to most of this podcast’s episodes because: •These 3(?) people pile on the goofiness, sometimes in bold & beautiful ways. •I’m unlikely to hear my sense of humor reflected in the game news & opinions sphere, but it’s here! •I listen to most of the episodes, but can’t remember listening to an episode completely because the wacky vibes ebb & flow, and because ADHD. I’m only into it when it’s teetering on the edge of the surreal. I think these moments happen through improv, so it comes and goes in wonderful ways, just inconsistently. I miss Mr. Show, which kept it weird from beginning to end. •love this show for what it excels at! Bye

    Well Rounded Entertainment!!
I’m 34 y/o and deliver mail for USPS and spend most of my time out doors walking/driving my route and I’m always in search of Great audible entertainment to pass the time. My daily focus is on my priorities and I don’t have much time for gaming anymore, However Nintendo and gaming were a Major part of my child hood! I often find myself reminiscing of the good ol days! I’ve recently discovered your podcast and I have to say that I appreciate what you do! I absolutely Love the Formula! Keep up the Hard work! You’re my #1 for Gaming Podcasts!! - Joe the Mailman

    Listen every week
Heather is awesome! Miss having her on the pod on every episode. Here’s to full Zelda health!
  • Sikapwach
Fine as long as you’re willing to pick and choose your episodes
Having people who don’t play video games as guests on your video game podcast sure is a choice.

    Perfect fix for gamers
Heather runs this podcast with an iron fist and Matt and wiger try to run the podcast with a pink dildo

    Fun show
On this show they say WOW a lot.

Like shooting the breeze with friends
Love this crew. Very funny, obviously professional, comedians talk about games. No they aren’t “pro gamers” who know everything and get nothing wrong- they are funny folk first who also happen to really really like gaming If you want cutting edge news or to learn things, mix in another podcast. This is for fun, good content, and lots of laughs.

A pretty decent video game podcast
While it’s not as funny as doughboys, I still enjoy listening to this weekly. I wish that covering Fortnite wasn’t a regular thing but heathers sense of humor has grown on me over time. Also I kind of wish they would drop the opening sketch bc it’s usually pretty unfunny
  • Langgoose
    Nice
I’ve only listened to one episode, so my review could change. I’m glad I found a video game podcast where no one is annoying. In other video game podcasts, there’s the cliché of having the ranter or the one who’s loud.

Had nothing interesting to say because 2/3 hadn’t finished the game, a bummer to listen to
I listened to their FF16 episode hoping that it would be an interesting discussion of the game’s story, but it wasn’t that at all. Two of the hosts hadn’t even finished the game and spent nearly the entire time complaining about it. Whenever someone, usually the only host who did finish it, tried to comment on something they liked, one of the ones who hadn’t finished it immediately shut it down with “no it’s garbage,” like okay. I don’t think they have to love it but they are literally saying the same things that every other YouTuber/podcaster who has criticized this game said one week after it came out. There was no interesting discussions about the story brought to the table at all and it felt like whenever the one guy tried to talk about story stuff, he was immediately told “no spoilers.” I just don’t understand why make an episode about a game that the majority of the hosts have not finished. I listened to the whole episode and did not feel like I heard anything I hadn’t heard before. Gets two stars instead of one because I did think the history bit about Nintendo systems in Europe at the beginning was interesting and I liked the host who did actually complete the game.

Heather Anne Campbell can do NO wrong
Three fantastic hosts playing the best games, but especially Heather, the epitome of video game podcasting perfection. idk, she’s just literally the coolest. And I want more of all her characters!

    The Premier Video Game Podcast
This podcast has everything—incredible guests (the Resident Evil merchant, Joel Miller, Ash Ketchum), incredible music, and incredible hosts. What more could you want?

    The best
Simply three of the funniest people around. We love Heather, Nick and Matt!
  • Katness11
I don’t think there is an episode that exists where I didn’t laugh out loud
Heather, Matt and Nick are national treasures and must be protected

    A hilarious gaming podcast!
I started listening to this during Covid, and it really helped me get though it! I continue listening to it because the hosts are just so funny & their sketches at the beginning of the podcast are usually hilarious.

    Light hearted video game chatting
Great podcast for casual talk about new video games, gaming news. Each host lives in a different video gaming corner so you get a good variation of likes/dislikes. Really liking the conceptual months like "A Pod to the Cast" aka Zelda month. 👍👍

    New Favorite Podcast
Really funny podcast about weird and bad games. Chemistry between individually funny hosts is great! Guests are great too! Episodes are not too long (which I find to be a problem with many podcasts). Pick an episode covering a game you remember and give it a shot!

    Great pod!
    Love the podcast

    The premier video game podcast
As the title says. They’re the best. Nick, Heather, and Matt are awesome hosts.

    LOVE THIS SHOW!
I love this show so much. The three of them together are pure magic for me and they make my heart so happy. This show got me back into gaming and it has brought me great joy the past couple of years. Thanks Heather, Nick, and Matt!!! 🥰🥰🥰

    Favorite pod!
First pod cast I truly got into and regularly listen to. Love keeping up with the hosts and hearing about all the games they’re playing. Thanks and love your pod!!!

    ❤️
    Heather, nick, and Matt ❤️❤️

    Miss the old eps
The original idea for the podcast was great! Now it’s just another milquetoast gaming pod that you can get the same exact info from the front page of twitch. Just scroll through the episode titles and without even listening you can tell there’s no real concept anymore. Too bad!
  • RobMondavi
    Not Great
Three people who range from bad to okay on comedy bang bang host a video game show as themselves.
  • tnix240
    Perfect
Show is A their. Music is S teir.
  • David Cavalleri
    Two things
Thing one: Heather has one of the best laughs EVER. I’d pay to listen to her and Paul F Tompkins laugh. My dopamine levels always get a boost when she laughs. Thing two: Prepare to hear the word “wow” a lot. A LOT. A LOT A LOT.
  • Michael Rye
It made me leave a review
Im a fan of the hosts of the shows and have enjoyed their output for a long time. But the Zelda month music episode, with the music theory breakdown of Zelda music, and heathers dog interpretations of the pieces, truly combined everything I love in one highly specific Venn diagram. It made me rate and review. Listen to the show
  • lilbuddy108
    Latest episode SAYS “TIERS”
The newest episode has a typo namely “tiers” of the kingdom lol not “tears”
  • OhPeaches
Really liked this show but finally unsubscribed. The new format just isn’t as tight. They complained about the “Resident Evil” movie not showing a zombie til minute #30, yet they don’t talk about the movie until minute #30 in their podcast. Sorry, but don’t care if you rode a horse. Love Nick and Heather and they work so well together. And I found out about “Doki Doki Literature” and “Undertale” from the old podcast. Understand why they changed, but wish they could bring the old magic back, while not burning out on bad games. Gonna keep the 5 star rating since I loved the old show so much, but sorry think I’m done.
  • Jaylaud
    Old format was better
I was an early listener to the original podcast which was a fun unique idea. Understandable that the hosts would want to move away from playing bad games but the result is a mishmash of bad comedy bits and unfunny call backs that make no sense for a casual listener
  • mollysweats
    Where’d the old eps go?
Love the show but all the older episodes are gone now for some reason? Picked up Disco Elysium and wanted to listen to the pod episode on that game and it was gone! Blasphemy!

    Big Improvement
I like this show much more now that they've pulled away from their focus on the worst of video games to instead actually talk about the games that interest them most. The humor was always there. Great job y'all.
  • Necroonx
    I got played
My favorite comedy video game podcast. Entertaining funny and light on the negativity. Fun to hear them tal about what they’re playing even if it is Fortnite 😜. Curated segments are always fun.
  • super nin-friendo chalmers
    This is the best show
I don’t even care that it’s about video games. These are the best three hosts you could ever put together. EDGE!!!!!
  • Daniel Bomberger
    Sigh
Wow. Another California based video game show run by pseudo intellectual d-bags. What fun.
  • Srsly apple
    Please
Please stop talking about Fortnite and doing the resident evil merchant every week

    It’s really fallen off
I got into the show from the beginning. As a huge fan of How Did This Get Made and video games, it seemed like an easy win. You could tell early on they had bitten off more than they could chew, tackling a game a week and clearly not enjoying any of it. The focus changed to noteworthy games, and the mood shifted for the better, but it was still a lot to take on for a weekly show. Fast-forward to today and the show is predominantly open ended conversation about what they’ve been playing as of late, some news, and superficial banter around the topic of the week. There are good free-form shows out there that are really about the personalities and goofing on whatever’s on their mind, but this isn’t the show I originally signed on for. If you like that kind of thing, the latest eps should keep you entertained, but to me it’s messy and unfocused.
  • HenDogShnauzer
    good show
good show about video games. 👍
  • Shmoo06
    So good
I’ve been listening since the beginning and I still laugh out loud regularly usually from Heather being her hilarious self. They all work off each other well and it’s a delight to listen to

Don’t Judge a Book by its cover
I started to listen when they first had a cover of Heather and Nick, and I’m ashamed to say the first thing I thought was “Fake Gamer!”, I’m glad to say that Nick is more than just a pretty face!… Seriously though, love the podcast and I’m excited to listen to every new episode as they air. Why does Resident Evil Merchant never talks to Heather?
  • Hulk Hogan Doll Hair
    What’re you listenin’ to?
I originally listened to hear how it got played, but then I Got Played… Hilarious podcast with hosts I need to remind myself, I don’t really know… lol Come for the games, stay for hosts!

Came For the Talk, Stayed For the Trader
If you're reading this to look for clues about what kind of podcast this is, I'll tell you this--the show features light-hearted, goofy, irreverent-leaning and diverse banter between three folks that are individually interested in a wide variety of games. It's a good time. You should give it a listen. To the hosts of Get Played I'll say this--I was fist-pumpingly, knee-slappingly, exuberant when I heard that La Plaga saved the Resident Evil 4 Merchant! I enjoy your podcast as a whole but I consistently laugh out loud while hearing the story of this venerable cast member. A piece of my joy crashed alongside him at the end of last year. I'm glad to hear the bucket-changing barterer has a new lease on life.

    Sonic 2 review, the review
So you guys do a Sonic 2 review and you don’t have Jordan Morris as a guest? I know he’s been on the show twice in the last few months but come on he’s your George Martin, your 5th Beatle! Well actually if you think about it Matt is probably the George Martin of the podcast but I digress. Thank for the hours of joy, Bobby Westside Your Friendly Neighborhood Rockstar
