    Mythic Tier WoW Discussion
I stumbled on FAZ toward the end of Dragonflight. I’ve been hooked since my first listen. About five years ago I was introduced to the World of Warcraft. Becoming competitive in this game, I quickly learned the importance of outside resources to enhance playing experience, but finding FAZ is so much more. The details of what’s going on are there, but Manny, Lex, and Sean go so much further. They reach a wide audience of player types, draw my attention to components of the game I hadn’t considered along my own path, and keep a healthy outlook that reminds us that our own goals in this game are not universally everyone’s aspirations. This multi-dimensional review of what’s going on in the game is a healthy outlook for all of us who are looking to grow the game and keep it going for years to come. Whether it’s a slow afternoon listen at home, or a pleasant escape from your daily commute, this is essential listening for any WoW player to find additional pleasure beyond the game screen. It doesn’t stop there—the FAZ community discord is excellent as well. Several listeners get in on the discussion, and the “Triumvirate” as they’re lovingly known hop in and get involved in those discussions as well. Thanks to all three for being one of the best hours or two of my WoW experience each week! Y’all rock!

    Love the show!
Listen up besties because I’m about to tell you about this show in my non-salty manny-festo. I look forward to this notification every week because these guys are so dang fun to listen to! Lex, Manny, and Shaun have great chemistry and knowledge on a wide range of topics in Azeroth and IRL. The show always puts a smile on my face with its fun antics and tangents. Can’t wait to dive into the War Within soon with y’all! I love y’all.

    Entertainment but Not Informative
While these people clearly love World of Warcraft, this show failed to capture me. It doesn’t really provide any useful information outside of the hosts’ opinions. Might work for some people, but I found it difficult to enjoy.
  • SeruouslyDudeReally
    Fantastic content as always.
Glorious, wonderful, informative, and entertaining. Podcast has great formatting and quality feedback on the game and story. Special commendation to Manny for saving the turtles and keeping Lex distracted. -Throdun

    New Format
Love the new solo host format. I’ve always found the banter between hosts to be a detriment.

    Tragic
This show used to be one of the best wow related podcasts out there. They had a clear direction, two hosts that actively played the game, and were generally very insightful with their opinions on the game. None of that is the case anymore, two major things have changed but most of it comes down to Joce deciding to tleave the show. Ever since they replaced Joce with Jared it's been complete trash. He's a guy who never brings anything of value to any of the various failed podcasts he's been on. He doesn't play the game regularly, and makes a point of bringing that up in the various shows he does. Just about every episode you'll notice him making matter of fact statements about the game that are complete;y false. Anyone who plays the game will notice this. I'm not saying he should be perfect but the consistency of his ignorance is offensive to everyone they ask to listen to and support them. This game has too many backseat, used to play voices that aren't in touch with the current game. I wish FAZ hadn't fallen into that hole. Also, they fall very heavily into the weird warcraft radio echo chamber. Something like 15-20 podcasters who all do their own show have developed this one singular take on the game and the development it's taken. It's not a lot of fun to listen to a bunch of different podcasts when you all have the same voice with the same opinions. It doesn't matter if I think they're correct or wrong, the fact that none of you bring anything new to the table makes all of you worthless. Manny is a great guy though, I hope he succeeds and is able to turn this podcast around because it was one of the best podcasts about wow. It really pains me to do this after several years of listening, but it's just not worth the subscribe anymore.

    More visibility
I left a 5 star rating for you guys in my work break room, but it wasn’t getting the attention it deserved. Thanks for dedicating your time and energy into putting out fun content! -multiowl

    Agreed
You simple don’t have to play the game if it doesn’t make you enjoy the content! Find a new game! Got too many trolls always griping about something always! Just enjoy it and move on! I came to wow when mop came out played for a couple years. Came back for bfa stopped now I am coming back again cause I have always enjoyed the game! Pvpforlife!
  • Forhammer
    Guest from episode #159
Please do not have him return. He was such a joke to anyone that actually plays this game. Please.

    Such a great show
Just discovered this podcast a couple weeks ago and it’s fast become my favorite World of Warcraft podcast. Looking forward to future episodes!

    Wonderful folks
This is a complete delight of a podcast. It’s not too lingo heavy and it’s friendly for beginners while commenting on deeper concepts of gameplay and lore as well. Besides, the hosts are awesome. Cannot go wrong with FAZ. For FAZ!

    Best Wow podcast
For Azeroth is a awesome podcast about Wow. Great discussions about lore, gameplay, game experiences, and the obvious tips and tricks. Even some life lessons along the way. I can’t say enough positive about this show.
  • postnut
    You guys are awesome!
Thank you! I love this podcast, the passion, knowledge, the lore and your Canadian pronunciations are adorable!
  • slowmdown
Really loved this show, once, not so much anymore.
This show was great, for a long time. Now it is not. Manny, the supposed hardcore player, hosts this show to advertise his stream these days. Manny spending all of his time in game with other podcasters, and his attempts to speedrun the wow shows have been detrimental to any kind of refreshing views. Though it was slowly drifting in this direction prior, since they've joined warcraft radio their opinions and viewpoints are completely in lock step with all the other wow podcasts. There is nothing unique about this show anymore because joce doesn't play and manny shares the same lines and ideas with all the other casual lore/heroic raider podcasts out there. for shame
  • Trainman1957
    Love the show!!!

    One of the best!
This is such a wonderful PodCast! The chemistry between Joce and Manny is........"Legendary". If you are looking for a WoW PodCast, this is definitely the one for you! They go over their week in WoW, cover all the news of the week, and give there opinions on all the stuff happening in and around WoW. Joce slays the Lore and Manny goes over all the technical stuff like an expert engineer. This show has it all! Tune in now and don't miss another episode. You won't regret it!
  • bummedoutaboutnegativity
Good show but always a negative point if view.
I love the format and the hosts but man are these two negative every time I listen. Blizzard does a great job but the hosts always find something they don’t like.
  • rouge gamer12
    Top tier podcast.
The hosts personalities compliment each other so nicely and provide two contrasting opinions on the amazing game we all play and love :). Amazing show keep up the good work!

    Giggling
I want to really like this show, I enjoy the topics and the chemistry between the hosts, but I can’t get over Jocelyn’s giggling sounding exactly like shade’s (Anne stickney from blizzard watch) it so annoys me. Jocelyn, you don’t need it, your a great host with thoughtful opinions I’m interested in hearing. I’m sorry if I’m off, but the giggling sounds forced and exactly like shade’s. Of course this is only my opinion. PS I love shade, I’ve been listening to her and Rossi for years.

    Get a Real Job, Chick
Hit unsubscribe the second Joce started bleating about her Patreon account for this podcast and how “this (is) her job” and that she needs to get paid for doing it. Podcasting is a hobby, not a job. Playing video games is a hobby, not a career. Get off of your lazy butt and work a real job like the rest of us.

Relaxed Show and a Treasure Trove of WoW News
I've been aware of FAZ! for a while, but stopped keeping up with for several months due to various reasons. Coming back to it has been a great experience. The hosts create a fun and friendly atmosphere where they share their WoW related experiences from the week as well as delving into discussions about PTR, PVP, raiding, lore, and their perspectives about where the game is now and how it can develop down the road. Every episode seems to bring something new to discuss and I think its great that they can discuss and consider differing view points. They only way I know how to end this review is that FAZ! is a comfy podcast about all things WoW.
  • Lanometer
    Was great
The show was great. Joce had the perspective of a casual player and Mani was the hardcore player. But now they both seem to be hardcore, with Joce not realizing it and it honestly makes me want to stop playing. Usually half the podcast starts delving into boring Mod segments and I just turn it off by then. I continue to listen for those few moments when they’re interesting. But I think I’ll explore other WoW podcasts.

I love the podcast for azeroth. I have learn so many new thing that I didn't know about wow. I got so many addons from the community resources and the lore helps me understand the back stores I have heard. Jocelyn and Manny are the alsome
  • WannaLoveYourShow
Show by people who actually play wow
I love this show for many reasons, but the most being that these are normal wow players who log in and play the game. They have problems with the game, they aren't know it all guide writers, and they don't hate the wow community. They bring a product that touches on all bases of wow: raiding, casual pvp, addons, and lore. The wow podcast world needs more shows just like this. Thank you Joce and Manny.
  • Randomnamerandomredditor
    Great and knowledgeable! (Updated)
Before, the show seemed overtly horde biased for a game, but recently they’ve seemed to adjust a provide a knowledgeable and entertaining show for both sides of the player base. This shows full of plenty of helpful tips and tricks, adding advice, lore from the game, and all the weekly news. Well worth the listen!
  • Donsquad
    Great podcast
These guys break down in depth many wow topics. I appreciate their point of view and they consider many aspects I’d not thought of. Probably one of the most comprehensive podcasts for wow available.
  • Lagging24/7
    I don’t even play anymore.
I can’t keep up anymore but I live my WoW days through this podcast. They keep me in the know of everything I need to know. They’re knowledgeable of everything I need to know for WoW. The friendly banter between the cohost is natural and hilarious. “Horde bias” or not it’s a fun podcast to hangout with.
  • alrdye
    Worst of the best
There are a lot of poorly produced and boring WoW podcasts out there. FAZ, as they’ve labeled themselves, isn’t one of them. That said, I’ve finally decided to drop them from my podcast stream due to their constant, unabashed, and blatant Horde bias and because they don’t bring anything original or interesting to the WoW podcast arena. I would recommend this podcast if you are a hardcore Horde player (hate the Alliance) and enjoy the host’s personalities. As of the last 4-5 podcasts, I haven’t heard anything new or original that I wasn’t hearing on my other podcasts. The proverbial back breaking straw for me was on the last podcast Joce had the nerve to suggest some Alliance should turn traitor to help Sylvanas for more “player choice” on the Alliance side. Joce, the Alliance are neither made up of traitors, nor do we have monsters for leadership as the Horde routinely does. Just because the warmongering Horde seem incapable of understanding the desire for peace, prosperity, and a live and let live mentality doesn’t mean it needs to be manufactured for the sake of drama or “choice”. There are a million other ways Blizzard could give us meaningful choices. If listeners are looking for excellent coverage of WoW lore, check out ‘Blizzard Watch’ and their 2ndpodcast, ‘Lore Watch’. If you want more news impacting raiding and mythic plus, check out ‘The Starting Zone’. For general news the ‘Icy Veins’ podcast is also a solid choice.

    Great insight and positive attitudes
Just give it a listen and you’ll see what I mean. A+
  • Leodin-vek
    I was enjoying this show
I was enjoying this show, but the negativity and complains are dragging it down, where they hate the Azerite gear I’ve been loving it it’s not a major game changer but it’s a flavor change there is no perfect slotting. Please stop being so negative or your going to lose a listener.
  • Jschroed91
New to the show, liking it so far!
As a long-time listener of The Instance! podcast, I have always loved listening to WoW-focused podcasts, but recently I haven’t been getting enough of the deep-dives into WoW through other podcasts - For Azeroth has filled that void for me! I’ve only listened to a few episodes so far, but I really enjoy the deep dives into specific dungeons, zones/quests, etc. Having Manny’s hardcore raider perspective is also great!!
  • CFMonty
    Good podcast for blizzard fans
I started listening to this because I love Joss’s other podcast Angry Chicken. This is actually quite different in the sense that the hosts spend an epic amount of time discussing the lore behind the wow plot lines and how the characters are developed within each expansion. As someone who has been playing for about 13 years, I love to nerd out and listen to other people share my enthusiasm for my fave game of all time. Only nit pick is that this they can go in to a rabbit hole of technical details that I don’t really care about (sharding for example). I would rather have them spend the time talking about how to get a cool old mount or title or something that I can go try to do once I get home that night. But it’s a cool show and they spend a lot of time prepping. Keep up the good work Joss!

    Great podcast
I listen to multiple Wow Podcasts and really enjoyed this one. Highly recommend it!
  • Puzzlebark
    Downhill....
I used to love this podcast. Current ridiculous criticism of Blizzard writing indicates these guys don’t understand multiple media artistry...a bit too much complaining. Quite a bit of game misinformation is provided as well.
  • Malion_hs
Fun and Insightful look into WoW lore
This show offers a comprehensive and entertaining overview of WoW and WoW lore.
  • Kjmoore
So like, then like, but um like
I enjoy this podcast and the people but there is a serious verbal tic with “like”. It can get distracting. The lore and news coverage is great.
  • Arbuthnaut
One of the more enjoyable WoW podcasts.
Both hosts are pretty up to snuff on both the story/lore as well as mechanics, features, and news. There is a definite Horde lean, but it is much less pronounced and in your face than a lot of other shows. If I had to nitpick, there is a bit too much laughter punctuation for my taste, and it would be nice to have a better balance on the faction front, but WoW is a big game. Both hosts are enjoyable to listen to, and seem to be good friends, which makes the discussion flow a lot smoother than many shows. Personally I think the biggest strength of the show is that the hosts don't talk over each other. They let each other finish a complete thought before responding, even if the other has a lot to say. There is no push to move through a topic just to adhere to a strict timing, and they aren't afraid to delve into a tangent if they find it relevant or interesting. I really appreciate the willingness to dive deeper when there are so many shows that will discourage and edit that stuff out. An easy subscribe if you're looking to bolster your WoW intake.
  • Statman2596
    Great if you play Horde
I’ve enjoyed this podcast in the past, but over the past 10 episodes there’s a echo chamber quality to the podcast. There no difference of perspective or opinion. Maybe will try again in. Another 10 or 20 episodes.
  • Keyaelor
    My favorite WoW
For Azeroth is the most well balanced and complete WoW podcast you can find. It has everything from recent news, lore, community features such as addon explanations, and personal stories from 2 very relatable hosts. They make you feel like you’re raiding right along side of them!
  • Da Rizzler
    Fun show
I found this show when making the daunting decision to get into WOW for the first time. The show is entertaining and informative through mechanics and lore. You guys are awesome, keep rocking and I will keep listening. Thank you!
  • maybenexttime1
    Assran
They need another topic other than talking about ashran for 30 minutes a show. She’s never heard of multiboxing and they were both a little confused on how it works and why people do it. Seems like they need to do more research and have better set notes for each show. Manny is the bright spot. Too many awkward long pauses or anxious giggles
  • plzkthks
    the bias is real
Two horde apologists try and explain away all the shortfalls of their faction through mental gymnastics, make believe, and yelling "FAKE NEWS." For some reason I keep listening, so I guess it's pretty entertaining.
  • Dr.Pizza Fan
    Grumpylamp approved.
Great podcast, completely biased to horde but good even despite that!
