that one guy.. Shawn is so funny and intelligent.. I can’t wait to hear what comes next!

the concept is great and the guests can be interesting. the host is a cannonball of white-guy-podcast-host cliches, the most consistent of which is “asking questions” to guests who sit in silence and wait for him to ramble through his own brilliant takes on answers they haven’t yet given. it’s not charming to be so excited you indulge in bad manners, and this is bad manners. there is no good reason to have guests if you do transparently do not care to *listen* to them.

Wow! I loved, loved, loved this. A perfect 10 mix of knowledge, banter and hilarious quips. The host has great energy and offers excellent commentary. This doesn’t take itself too seriously and delivers a podcast with true cinema take aways. Check in on the pod that covers the movies you’ve been holding off on! Subscribe and rate this show!

I’m not a huge podcast listener but I love Missing Frames! It’s fun, smart and at times even educational! Shawn really does his research and gives great insight into not only new films but the classics! 5 stars!

Love the concept behind this show. My favorite episode is 2001: A Space Odyssey, where Shawn introduces his wife to the classic film. Really fun stuff.

On Missing Frames, the host Shawn and his guest hosts watch all the classic films they’ve missed seeing for whatever reason. It’s funny and heartfelt and a great way to catch up on your own ‘missing frames.’

Everybody has those holes in their watchlist that they know should be filled. This format encourages you to actually go and watch the films you always meant to, and lets you hear people’s first-time impressions of some all-time classics.

Thanks to Shawn and this podcast I’ve seen a number of films I might have otherwise never watched. Shawn is an amazing host and knows how to facilitate an engaging discussion. I highly recommend Missing Frames!

I love this podcast. It’s warm and full of life. Shawn brings great gobs of joy to the movie conversation scene and we could use more voices like his in the podcast field today. Missing Frames celebrates all kinds of movies, from Once Upon A Time in the West to Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight!! Every episode is a treasure.

Missing Frames offers a new take on reviews, pairing first-time viewers with seasoned fans. As a result, the conversation is full of informed bits of cinema history, new insights, and deep commentary. Whether discussing influential films like Citizen Kane or new event-releases like Hamilton, this podcast offers something for everyone. The host is inviting, informed and game for any turns taken in the discussion and the guests each offer their own hot takes, whether they’re elevating overlooked films or taking some overblown classics down a peg or two. I was going to listen to this for a goof, but it became serious after all of this incredible content. I am in the middle of covid-19, but this gives me comfort!

When you can’t watch a movie, it’s just as good to listen to someone talk about one! Shawn does a great job as host and is engaging and fun to listen to. This is one of my favorite podcasting concepts to have come around in a long time. They pick a great movie that some of the hosts haven't seen, talk about it, give bts info on the movie, then watch it, then talk about it again. It's really entertaining.

Trying something new from The Nerd Party Network and I'm not disapointed. I love hearing a fresh take from first-time-viewers on my cinematic guilty pleasures as well as a nudge to finally get around to those movies gathering dust on my Netflix queue. Missing Frames makes me feel like I'm hanging out with my friends combing through my VHS collection in my basment looking for casette tape gold. Looking forward to the next installment!

Being a film major I had to make peace early on that I would have a HUGE back catalog of "classic" films to catch up on. Missing Frames is great at revisiting these pices of cinema history for people who have seen them or just catching up. Two thumbs up!

We all miss movies that we are told we should have seen and now there is a podcast to help make us feel better about ourselves, we're not the only ones! A fun show on movies, that for some reason or another the hosts have missed. It's good listen and so don't go missing this podcast.

As a film buff, hearing others take a first chance on the "requisite classics" of the universal world library of film is a lot of fun. A top quality podcast and well worth a listen!
