    Great teaching
Thanks, Julian. You’re an awesome teacher. Next to Kent Hewitt (“Hello, Cool cats and groovy chicks...”) , you have a slow and steady way of teaching and getting thru to old f—-ts (guys) like me - 80 yrs. old, but one who loves jazz!! Love it. I’ve got all your stuff. Any suggestions for practicing 251 patterns, scales and licks - in all keys (M7ths, m7ths, dom 7ths, half dims, whole dims), so I can get the runs under my skin? Thanx Bill H

    Very impressive and super useful!
Thank you so much for this podcast Julian! I’m super impressed how you are able to convey such useful material in this non-visual format. You do a GREAT job of determining what is essential to know for inspiring progression. I’ve tried other jazz piano podcasts and yours is absolutely the most useful and interesting. I certainly hope there are many more to come. I didn’t really think it was possible to improve my playing while driving a car, but thanks to you, it is!

Finally! Concise organized well thought out lessons, with no ego or bragging
These lessons are organized and not too broad in scope. Bradley has a good understanding of what to include in a particular topic or technique. No showing off. No including too much information. The lessons are “scaffolded” and build well upon each other. Each has concrete defined techniques to work on, so even if challenging, feel achievable. This is motivating and not overwhelming. He also goes back to review and repeat within a given lesson, which is helpful when providing instruction where questions are not possible.
