    Please mix better.
Guys the content is amazing, but your voices are all at different levels to hear the males talking. You have to turn up so loud that when the women talk, it literally burst my eardrums. I really wanted to hear your content about episode five but it’s unlistenable

    WoT in the h3ll?
I love the humor, banter, and generally insightful thoughts on all things WoT, both show and books. Looking forward to more in 2025.

The funniest moment in all the books…
What Elayne tells Nyneave when she returns to their room after drunkenly confronting Thom about his relationship with Morgase. And…last week BRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2/10

    Nope
Questionable casting meets terrible writing. I have been unable to sleep since listening to this woke brainwashing garbage. 9.4/10

    I laugh out loud.
Not since “Home Alone 1” have I enjoyed a Kevin so much. Actually I enjoy all of you for being you and for entertaining us in a world that we love. Thanks for being huge talented nerds. From a loyal wolf brother 🐺

I like the irreverence and the serious analysis
The casters talk about the wheel of time with serious analysis and it’s great answers questions that I had and things that I didn’t even know that I wanted to know. But also they have skits that are funny and still on the wheel of time topic. Give it a shot ;)

    Go back to the beginning!
This podcast is my absolute favorite WOT content. The hosts are intelligent, irreverent, open-minded, and utterly hilarious. I can absolutely count on this crew to lift my mood when I’m feeling down and provide thought-provoking commentary mixed with randomness, humor, joy, and nerdiness. You don’t have to go all the way back to the beginning but you absolutely should because all of the segments are spot on - from Belladonna the Busty Bard to Lini’s Advice Hive, Ruarc’s Weather Reports to the latest news, Remedial Ji’e’toh (for stupid wetlanders) to the Truth Dispense Dispatch. This podcast is amazing and I can’t thank Jess, Nae’blis, Jenny, and Recappa enough for putting it all together. May you always find water and shade and feel free to eff-off at your leisure. Update: yes, this is a 5 star review - the iOS star selection is tiny and has no contrast for select/not select 😒

    Comedy & News
This has become one of my favorite podcasts. Whether it is laughing with Jess and Jenny, catching up with Randland news, getting wiser with Remedial Je’ a Toh or catching up on the news around Prime’s upcoming season - I have found joy, information, life lessons, and enjoyment in your podcast. Thanks so much!

    Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
Cackling and gasping aloud listening in public. Just finished the books to go on to discover how unhinged and GAY this fandom is. Love it. F off lovelies.

    A light in my week
GreetingsTVAD crew. I just wanted to tak a moment to tell ya’ll that I think your wonderful. I first hear about the pod when Naebs announced it on his channel. I just got done listening to the episode about the community at large and was inspired to write this. The Wheel Of Time has been my favorite book series ever since I started reading it 10 years. I love WOT content and yours most of all. Your funny, insightful and creative bits on the series never fails to put a smile on my face. Your show, much like the series itself, helps get me through the work week. I’m a visually impaired listener so audio content is very helpful to me. Your pod will continue to be a huge part of my weekly rotation Ps I pan to join the the discord server soon. So if you see Scheidler on there, all the blind jokes please. We can’t be friends if you can’t make blind jokes Pps sorry for the ramble. I tend to do that

    WOT, stay woke!
As much as some dislike how diverse and progressive the WOT community and these three in particular are, I love how they use WOT, humor, satire to discuss hot topics I’m passionate about. Yes, mostly WOT -and if you haven’t read it you might not get most of their jokes -but also a sprinkle of social justice, equity, and other current affairs. Among my favorite podcasts and YouTubers. I look forward to new episodes every week. Please, stay woke.

    I have toh…
TVAD Wise Ones, I am asking you to help me meet my toh. I have been shamelessly listening to you for over a year and a day and haven’t contributed as a patron or left a 5-star review. So please either beat me senseless or read my review so that others can know of your honorable deeds. Our TVAD hosts have earned much Ji. Jess, our Amyrlin Seat, always has great insights and her Belladonna the Busty Bard always has me in stitches and I’m loving Lini’s Advice Hive. Jenny Sedai’s truth dispense dispatch is so clever and scarily accurate that even though it scares me, it still entertains me and has me laughing out loud. Nae’blis’s bedtime stories and recently added deleted scenes kill me every time. I miss Brian’s Tony the Tinker, so if you’re new to the podcast, make sure you listen to the old episodes. Wise Ones, I hope I have met my toh and if not, I will gladly be made da’tsang. May you find water and shade, Megan

    Too much fun
The creativity these three bring is INSANE! Commercials, puns of time, ask a tinker, the list goes on and on and they just keep bringing the heat week after week! Listening to the last news and seeing how right (and wrong sometimes lol) you guys are on your analyses of trailers and such is amazing. Catching up on the backlog but can’t wait for the new episodes too!

Get out of my head, man!
These folks freaking slay me. And it’s one of the few podcasts where the banter makes me want to jump in and talk too. If you like a good non-pg laugh and the Wheel of Time, 10/10. Do recommend.

    Funny/Informational
Having found out about you guys during your live recording at JordanCon 2021, and again in 2022, it was a absolute blast of a time. Even tho my social anxiety didn't allow me to actually meet you guys, I feel like I know you guys thru the podcast! I look forward to the podcast each week, specially Puns of Time! Slay that lag beast! I highly reccomend the podcast to anyone looking for a fun time, while also looking for update on weekly happenings in the Whee of Time universe.

    I’ve Enjoyed it Very Much
As a person who started the books just before the TV show came out and just recently finish the last book in the series, this podcast gives listeners something to continue down the rabbit hole that is The Wheel of Time. Going back and listening from episode one has been very entertaining. The show is very funny, with great hosts, and is super informative on everything WoT. Worth the listen

    TVAD bedtime story
Once upon a time there was a little boy who loved to listen to Tar Valon After Dark Podcast. He loved it so much that all he ever wanted to do was listen, but his parents always made him clean his teeth and go to bed. One night he decided that he was going to fake going to sleep so he could stay up all night and listen. After his parents left and he heard their sounds of sleep he grabbed his I-tear’angreal and went out into the night. Suddenly the black was cut with a bright doorway the swirled into existence! And out stepped the Amyrlin Seat, an Aes Sedai in a pretty dress, and a very tall man in strange dress. “What are you doing out at this hour little boy?” The tall man asked. “Just listening to my favorite podcast sir, please don’t tell my parents!” The boy replied. With a questioning look the man then asked “what podcast are you listening to?” “Tar Valon After Dark Dark” came the reply. The Aes Sedai looked the boy over with a strange look in their eye “well I was going to switch you for your obvious disobedience, but after finding you have such exquisite taste in podcasts we will let you be. Come friends I hear a pint at The Thirsty Tinker calling our names.” As the trio walked away the boy stool in amazement. He knew each of those voices so well! Just then a Trolloc jumped out from behind a tree and ate the boy for being out after his bedtime. The end

    Good Podcast
A really good and often funny podcast on the wheel of time with some of the more knowledgeable and insightful content creators. Gets a little too political at times, but definitely worth a listen.

This is one of the funniest Podcasts on the Amazon Wheel of Time show. Well done glad I found you!

    Your smart, funny friends
TVAD is THE BEST Wheel of Time podcast, especially for folks who know the series. Smart, thoughtful conversations about the characters, the plot, the world building, philosophy, and even the show! Not overly goofy or pedantic. Toss in ‘just enough’ discussion of news from the show production, and it’s all balanced by some super funny ‘sketches’ — commercials, eyes and ears reports, trivia games and other amusements. You know those nights when three of your clever, funny friends who have very different perspectives sit around and dish on a topic? This is that, every week!

    What got me
New to “Wheel of Time” the books and the show but this show is still gold! What got me in the end was the fantastic Bel Tine carol and the fantastic Eyes and Ears and don’t even get me started on the commercials. So creative and hilarious and I still always love the diverse discussions. 5 stars!

    Disreputable extraordinaire!
Wheel of Time fans will love this PodCast! It’s irreverent, funny, and has insightful discussions about the books and Amazon/Sony series. The chemistry between Nae’blis, Brian/Recappa Sedai, and Jess, the Amyrlin Seat is off the charts. They make you want to sit around with them and have a beer. Oh, and what goes on in North Harbor…stays in North Harbor. Never have I felt such love and warmth by being told to F off! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

    Accurate multicultural, unbiased reporting!
Every Randlander should tune in. The Eyes and Ears reports feature real perspective from across the continent and beyond. There are op ed and feature segments ranging from Tinkers to therapists for the Shadow and everything in between. Sometimes, when they unload the Mail Sack it can get sticky, but I suggest not skipping any segments. My kids love the adorable bedtime stories. Even the commercials are spot on!

    Laugh out Loud WoT Content
Love the sketch comedy. Love the WoT discussions. Most of all, love the WoT geeking out. The show discussions have been epic! Thank you to Brian for calling out Alanna’s badassery in the show. Alanna and her emotional support fig are my show faves! I appreciated Naebs helping us to give grumpy WoT fans a bit of grace. The Lan and Moiraine discussion from all three of you last week was on point and helped me put into words why I love their character work in the show so much. To Jess, for your unshakable defense of the show, for your unapologetic gushing, for using the books to explain why Rafe made changes and not what he could have done better, for defending the Nynaeve Nova against the stiffest of opposition, I hereby bestow upon you the title of The Watcher of the Show. The Flame of the Heart and Spine. The Amyrlin Seat. Please keep making us laugh with the WoT! SherbetMango

    A delightful romp
This podcast is great. It’s fun to listen to these book nerds chit chat after the Amerlin has taken off her stole, Recappa’s retired her wig for the day, and Nae’blis stops gutting a boarderlander in the name of the Dark Lord. Keep at it you wonderful dorks! You make the night a little brighter for dweebs like me.

If you're not Listening, What are you doing? Go listen!
Dear Tar Valon After Dark, I am sadly way too broke to be a patron, but I think the podcast is absolutely wonderful! I really appreciate you all for mentioning that some of the marketing materials for the show were not accessible for visually impaired fans. As a visually impaired fan myself, it was validating to hear that others were thinking about this. Seriously though, this podcast is amazing in every way. It's changed my perspective on a lot of things, and makes me laugh out loud every time! Everybody go listen!

    Lots of fun.
Tar Avalon After Dark is a blast to listen to. The hosts are all witty, the commercials are great, and “Ask a Tinker” is always a riot. They clearly love the story of the Wheel of Time and know it well and each being different perspectives and opinions and form a great conversation as well as lots of entertaining comedic bits.

A podcast I enjoy very much
This podcast is Tar Valon After Dark, where you can listen to three incredible WOT creators discuss the television adaptation. I look forward to it. I came for the show hype and series analysis, stayed for the segments with intro jingles that get stuck in my head and the banter that makes me laugh uncontrollably. It’s so good!
  • Grrr-aendal
    Keep it coming
Just when I think their content has satisfied me, they just keep going, segment after segment. They fit so much in, but I cannot get enough. Definitely recommend compulsion with these three!

    Beware listening while driving
I absolutely love this podcast! They are so funny and so knowledgeable when it comes to Wheel of Time. I would be careful listening though. Last week I missed my exit on my way to work because I was laughing so hard! Be warned that this is a full spoilers podcast- don't listen if you have not read the whole series.

    Dear Nae’Blis
My friend, it is good to hear you weekly but you should know that the Forsaken are puzzled by your collaboration with the Aes Sedai…..and promising to have children for more of them? How can you hold the title Nae’Blis and keep doing that? However, I do find Jess and Recappa entertaining, and the three of you are greatness incarnate. Keep up the great work, love this podcast

Did your see who’s hosting this?! that’s a 5/5 without even hearing it. The witty Amyrlin. The ever dubious Nae’blis. And the lovely and talented Recappa Sedai. I could listen to them watch grass grow.

    Brilliant fun!
I follow practically everyone in the WoT community through other platforms, so when this came out I jumped onboard real fast! Brilliant fun and a different spin on discussing the Wheel of Time. The commercials kill me 😂 thank you, everyone involved, for creating such a creative and laid back WoT podcast. Much love, and the Light illumine you all.
