Politics in hockey

Observation- the last two Ottawa home games I watched (Sabres and Tampa) the US anthem was played as a musical rendition- not a live performance as usual. The Canadian anthem was performed live. Am I reading too much into this or is it a passive/aggressive move on the Senators part to express their displeasure over recent political events? Sad day in hockey if true…

Great podcast Terrific insights into the team we love that hasn’t made the playoffs in forever. Still a Sabre fan and will be one forever. Joe Wasik I was at the Sabres-Habs game on 10/15/1970 as a 14 year high school freshman.
