Good advice and I’ve enjoyed the product in the past but you guys have to watch your production- audio on recent podcasts has been very poor.

This cast is usually informative and helpful but several episodes now have had all sorts of loud background noises and children yelling things being moved around etc. it’s super distracting when trying to listen.

There’s plenty of episodes gone bye bye, so I can’t attest to those. But I the one I did start with had no useful information at all. It was just them blabbering on and on about different comics they liked and all kinds of courses they endorse.

Great podcast that gives info from self publishing to working for the big 2. A great inside look.

From the perspective of a graphic and fine artist, this is a fantastic look into the world of comic book creation. No question treated as too big or too small, from the bare bones (how to set up your panels) to how to market a final product. Invaluable if you want to work with comic book creators but find yourself eternally confused and on the outside looking in. Informs AND entertains. Love listening to Andy Schmidt and Co. break it down.

This is one of my favorite podcasts. It's professionally done, and it's direct and to the point with a new topic each episode. If I hadn't found this podcast I would have never upped my artistic skills over at the Comics Experience classes. If you are trying to make your own comics like I am, take the time and listen to all the episodes, there is a lot of great info in here.

This podcast is fantastic and offers a ton of advice on the craft of making comics. From art to production to writing, they've done a great job of clueing the listener in to tips and tricks to making comics effectively.

Andy Schmidt knows the industry, and he really prepares you for a career in comics.

This is a fantastic podcast and a wonderful companion to the Ifanboy pick of the week. I started listening this podcast out of pure curiosity. I have no aspirations to be comic book writer or creator of any sort. However, by listening to Josh's discussions with Andy Schmidt of Comics Experience, I've learned *so much* about the craft. I feel much better informed about comics and have been able to appreciate what I'm reading at a much higher level. I'd also recommend this podcast to anyone in the creative or writing fields. There is so much good advice that Josh and Andy gives that is really applicable to any profession in which writing and creating ideas is a primary function (even for graduate students and aspiring academics!). Overall - informative and inspiring.

I listen to a LOT of podcasts about making comics and most of them are by artists of by artist/writers, so it's super interesting and EXTREMELY informative to hear about comics from the perspective of writers/editors. Episodes are VERY short, super entertaining, and chock-full of of useful things!

This podcast is perfect for anybody who is serious about moving from fanboy to creator. The advice here is excellent!

Practical, straight-forward advice. The episodes are great chunks of information with good takeaway. Lots of topics covered too. And Andy and Josh have an easy and fun rapport. Even if you have just a passing interest in "making comics" Make Comics is fun to listen to from a process standpoint.

Josh seems to really care about the medium and the skills involved in creating comics. Andy is very experienced and absolutely knows his stuff. If you are interested in creating comics or are simply interested in learning more about comics then you will enjoy this podcast.

Hearing Andy and Josh discuss how comics are actually made gives me a much deeper understanding of the comics I read and love. This podcast makes reading comics much better experience and just straight up more fun.

This podcast covers all the bases, from process tips for writers and artists, to pitching and marketing your book once you actually make it. Great info, and Andy and Josh keep it entertaining throughout. Highly recommend.
