aweidensallGreat podcast!I could’ve sworn that I left a review for this podcast. I really enjoy listening to this podcast. I’m a big lover of movies so I enjoy listening to them talk about movies. These guys are the best and sometimes they can be very funny. Give them a listen.

franzmazurHilarity Certainly Ensues!MPW is a true gem of a movie review podcast. Each co-host brings a specific flavor to the show, and as episodes fly by, you can't miss all the long-running jokes, quirks, and ensuing hilarity. Host Jason Pyles has one of the best voices in podcasting. A Guy Named Andy is possibly one of the strangest fellas I've heard on a show of this kind. Carl always brings the wisdom (and curse words). And Ryan's rants are nothing short of amazing. Check out this show, folks! Much love from Mister Watson!

hghlndr71Great bunch of guysEntertaining and fun. A guy named Andy is the heart and soul of the show.

mojojohnjohn182You will giggleI’m begging you listen to the show for a guy named Andy. He will always make you laugh, trust me. The mini reviews they give are always fun. They get me into shows and movies I didn’t think I would wanna watch. All around an amazing show

CL GoodmanReal-people movie reviewsIt's nice to hear reviews from hosts who have different tastes. MPW is very conversational among friends who spare and joke around. But you leave having a good idea of movies (and tv shows) you may want to try. Plus they are all parents, so you get that perspective as well.

ryry.neYour moviegoing experience is incomplete without MPWIf you're looking for a film review podcast with hosts that are serious about movies but don't take themselves too seriously, MPW is the podcast for you. MPW is a long-form, comprehensive podcast that covers a variety of films, both theatrical releases and some Blu-ray and streaming content as well. My moviegoing experience was incomplete before I discovered MPW. Keep up the great work guys, but stop kicking pigs - that's animal cruelty!

Eric CoxBest movie review podcast... I guessI love this movie review podcast despite the fact that host Jason really seems to hate the cinema. I mean come on Jason... What did the cinema ever do to you? I've listened to every episode of this podcast and it continues to improve with each episode as the hosts have amazing chemistry together. I only wish they would keep their love for Wolf of Wallstreet to themselves. Going on and on about how often they watch it locked in the closet so no one can disturb them tends to get old. I've recommended this podcast to many of my friends and they love it also. Definitely give this podcast a chance. I promise you won't fall asleep during it like host Andy does every single episode despite the fact he is supposed to be recording a podcast. Eric Cox Sylvania Ohio

GrudunzaFun group of film geeksMPW is my favorite film review podcast (tied with Movie BS with Bayer & Snider). Other casts like /Film and Filmspotting are also great and are definitely more in-depth with film analysis, but can also feel a bit pretentious or heavy at times. MPW is just a fun group of regular guys chatting about movies, and I can feel vicariously part of that conversation. The show could use more women's voices as guests, and a little less idle chatter (though many other film podcasts have about the same amount of that). And while I'll give the golden-throated Jason some leeway for being a very affable host, it would be good if he hated the cinema a little less. ;o)

Swirvin ErvinBest There Is!!Been listening for a couple months now and I am super impressed. These guys are very informative and give great recommendations for movies. Love the mix of personalities, there's a little something for everyone her. Thanks for helping me get through my work week. Keep up the good work!

therealgomez98All these people are correctThis show is great! A nice mix of personalities and ideals from this batch of dudes and occasional dudettes. The original sauce combined with their stockpile of guests that come on from time to time leave the listener with a well-informed set of choices to make for their up-coming viewings. Here's something to do, drink a shot every time one of these happens: Pyles says 'Yessssss' to himself when someone mentions something he agrees with...Andy says he doesn't know something in pop culture that is obviously known to the whole galaxy...and everytime you think Carl is gonna strangle Andy. Heed these words and your night will be a riot. Just take a regular drink everytime you hear a muppet-like MMMEEP!!! You're welcome. :-)

The Dead JuanGOATFew things in life give me more joy than watching people slip and fall on youtube. This is one of them. With a varied cast that's both smart and funny, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better family friendly yet offensive podcast that discusses life as much as it does movies and everything in between.
-
Sal_RomaIt's not the worst podcast!Looking for a movie podcast that is family friendly, yet highly offensive? Movie Podcast Weekly is the podcast for you! Every Wednesday, the MPW crew open up with some talk about what they've been watching lately, talk about some recent news, and then look at the latest movies that are being shown in a theater near you. There's a lot of hilarious friendly banter and a wide variety of opinions. At times the show can be a bit of a trainwreck, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The fun is contagious and it's one of the highlights of the week for me.

Obsessive Viewer PodcastsJust started listening, love it!I just started listening to this and Horror Movie Podcast. First of all, I admire and love the straightforward title of these podcasts. Aside from the name, listening to the American Sniper episode made me really excited to listen to more of the podcast specifically because I disagreed so strongly with the host’s opinions. But even though I disagreed with the review, I appreciated the hosts’ perspective and found their discussions were very well spoken.
-
Kcmom6ExcellentJay and his cohorts review new movies, old movies, even TV shows. Be ready for a lengthy discussion-but very spoiler free-that will make your commute to work seem to fly by. The regulars-and their guests-have a comradely that makes their discussions fly by. A very enjoyable movie podcast.

CodyClarkA Movie Lover's DelightMovie Podcast Weekly is an absolute gem. The in-depth discussion of movies crosses the cinematic spectrum from the largest of summer blockbusters to shoestring indies, shorts, internet oddities and anything else deemed cinematic in nature by one of the four hosts. These guys are as sharp as a brand new set of steak knives, and funnier than a clown college commencement address. The show offers a really enjoyable blend of thoughtful, engaging commentary with snark, sass and general wiseassery. All four hosts can comfortably occupy the Siskel and Ebert critic's chair, but are equally at ease heckling one another from the Statler and Waldorf balcony seat. There are also frequent guests (many of whom recur) who add to the general merriment and keep the show on its toes. Serious film buffs should listen weekly. And if you like what you hear, dive into the substantial back catalog: Old episodes are just as much fun as new ones.

Josiah SandhuPretty much the bestReally awesome podcast for movie recommendations! It's a great blend of current movies and movies from random era's as well. The 4 hosts represent a good mix of film tastes, and they blend casual banter with high quality reviewing that makes for one tasty podcast. The best part is the 4 hosts each have distinct Ninja Turtle counter-parts. Jason- The dedicated leader Carl-The angry one with a chip on his shoulder Josh- The smart one with the fancy film taste's and Andy- The slacker/probably stoner P.S. They're all Mormons, so if you're in to that, that's a plus too, I suppose.

Dino-MachinoLife was like a box of chocolatesYou never know what you're gonna get. But, you do know what you're getting with this podcast – an entertaining cast with great chemistry and different perspectives, analyzing a wide-variety of films packaged neatly with high production value. Simply put, one of the best movie podcasts available today.

GQueueOutstanding!Being a film graduate and an aspiring screenwriter I find film review podcasts informative as well as educational. "Movie Podcast Weekly" occupies one of the top spots of my film-podcast rotation. Jason Pyles, the host, is a cross between Roger Ebert and Mr. Rogers in his delivery and insight----there's something very soothing in his voice as he and his genial cohorts opine on the latest movie fare and news. One small drawback its that it's censored for language--in my opinion podcasts should be totally uncensored and unfiltered. That said this one belongs at the top of any film student or fan wanting to learn why things work or don't work on the big screen. Keep up the good work guys!

bookloverjenFunny GuysI keep listening to these guys even though I don’t get the time to see a whole bunch of movies, because I like their conversational tone and I get a little bit of knowledge about a whole bunch of cinema in a super-fun and interesting way. These four movie lovers know quite a lot about movies and the movie industry, and their various specialties and personalities make for a fun time. They aren’t afraid to say what they think, have a lively debate, and are insightful and truthful. I love ‘em!

Geek Cast RyEpic Good Time! The chemistry the cast has is almost unmatched in the podcast universe. These guys rock!
-
B---RyeBest Movie Podcast YetThe show is just great. Good, old-fashioned conversation on the films and ideas of today. The four hosts keep the energy and the talks moving at a great pace. Hilarity ensues... Definitely worth it to try it out. If you're a movie lover... listen to it.

felix da kkkkkatFresh Film ReviewThese guys are good. (Is there anything else to say?) I have been looking for a more consistent movie podcast, and I found one. P.S. It's especially great if you are a fan of Slashfilmcast or similar podcasts.

vjk333My Favorite PodcastA friend referred me to these guys' earlier podcast 'Considering the Sequels.' I really enjoyed that podcast and I am glad I found their latest effort. It is just as appealing. Movie Podcast Weekly is a lot of fun. There are enough personalities to keep it interesting, but they rarely talk over one another and play off each other well. I also appreciate that they try to keep things family friendly. I love being able to tune in during road trips with the family and not have to worry about strong profanity and excessive dirty jokes. My only complaint is that in the past there has been an excess of horror movie reviews, which just aren’t my thing. A new recommendations segment highlighting various genres is helping. Still a 5/5! I tune in every week.
-
Jeff_HammerTHE Movie PodcastThese guys are great. If you love movies and you ever go to theatre, this podcast is for you. Even if you don't get out to the theatre, you'll enjoy their discussions and they have reviews of what they have been watching on netflix, from redbox, etc.
-
jguy76I love this movie review podcast!I love this movie podcast! Jason, Karl, and Andy (and their frequent guest hosts, including Jason's delightful wife, Natalie) always provide entertaining and insightful reviews of the latest movie releases. They also share their thoughtful and sincere opinions about other movie titles they've recently seen (both new and old), and give their take on upcoming movies based on the trailers. Andy and Karl are hilarious "foils" and Jason is a real pro who keeps things moving right along. It's always a fun show and if you're a true fan of movies you can't go wrong listening to the Movie Podcast Weekly before visiting your local multiplex!
-
CharissaLandRyan GoslingAwesome podcast! The co-hosts are witty and insightful, and i cant help but picture Ryan Gosling every time Andy speaks ;)

DangerouslyGREAT FILM PODCASTGreat film podcast. Nice mix of personalities and tastes. The host does a wonderful job. I have been a fan of his since the CTS Podcast and he always puts together a very professional, thoughtful show. His co-hosts bring the snark and entertainment. New release movie reviews each week.
