Max VecarYou can honestly bill for the time spent listening to this podcast as “working”, and still have funI mean, it’s absolutely the best: you get to learn some 100% informative stuff about Salesforce, AND some tangentially related yet curious tech stuff, AND some totally unrelated fun stuff. And to top it all off, it’s entertaining as hell and absolutely free of marketing BS or any other kind of pandering. I wish I could model my blog after this awesomeness. From Russia with love, Maxim M P.S. I suggest you guys shouldn’t consider buying SF stock. Even past the ridiculous P/E ratio, since your job is also dependent on SF-that’s too much eggs for one basket.

GalpucrappyWhy are those two talking about the new sound system and Disneyland trip (for like 12 mins)? Small talks are good but diving into the crux fairly quickly is important. This is the first (and perhaps the only time) I’ve listened to them..

amyrashelleNo BS Salesforce CommentaryI’ve listened to this podcast for almost three years now. Every time I turn it on I feel kindred spirits in Jeremy and John as they openly discuss the positives and negatives of releases, feature updates and news around Salesforce. They hold no punches in their assessments, which is so refreshing. At last I’ve found a podcast that isn’t corrupted by sales. I am not a developer (in the traditional sense of the word), but I love listening to the dev angle because it makes me aware of an important element I might otherwise ignore. Excellent dialogue and commentary. Keep it up, you guys. Beer talk adds levity I enjoy, don’t ever lose it.

SigemundGreat Podcast, great communityFun and interesting Salesforce podcast. John and Jeremy are fun to listen to, with great chemistry. I always learn a lot. Be sure to join the slack community.

MkesportsA beer podcast about Salesforce?I didn’t need to look very far in my search for a solid Salesforce developer podcast before finding GDS. Slack group is great. They put on an entertain and knowledge filled podcast

Bastian1987Love these guys! This is my favorite podcast on iTunes period! How they can make a somewhat dull topic (salesforce dev), and make it interesting and funny and create excitement for me to listen, is absolutely amazing in my opinion. These guys could have a great thing here. We just need to share it as fans. Thank you for taking the time to do this Jeremy and John!

ShaneCloudThe perspective I need, plus funI usually learn something about the platform, a problem I’ll hit eventually, how the company I work for (Salesforce) is perceived, or something that needs solving. Honest feedback is good. The slack group is great. Haven’t tried this new live thing they started doing, but one of these days it could happen. Works as a good replacement for the very occasional CodeCoverage podcast. Also makes me want beer sometimes.

jmilburn__c__cWell worth the listenI am relatively new to the Salesforce environment, and I spent a lot of time looking for informative sources that I could use to better prepare myself for the challenges I am facing. The Good Day Sir Podcast has been a huge help in dealing with all the !FUN! that Salesforce throws my way. I'm currently working my way through the backlog of episodes and finding many instances where John and Jeremy are discussing the exact things I'm trying to figure out. Their inability at times to stay on topic is good thing, as it brings the conversation out of the purely Salesforce-centered views that many of the other podcasts I listened to have. It certainly helps make my drive to and from work much more entertaining and informative. Thanks guys!

ftchangState of Salesforce, Developer point of view, and funJeremy and John have such depth and breadth of experience that hearing them talk about all things Salesforce, you can’t help but learn. They cover everything, including Salesforce as a company, Salesforce as a platform, and the Salesforce ecosystem. Being developers, they of course also talk code. I’m an admin, so I only understand some of their discussion of code and related technology, but it’s so helpful to listen to their banter and get the developer perspective. At some point in an admins career, you will work with developers, and you know as an admin how important it is to be able to see things from all perspectives.

NickArtJoOne of two podcast on my deviceJeremey and John are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate individuals who provide valuable insights into architecting, developing, and delivering Salesforce solutions based on their experiences. They brew beers, drink whiskey, talk deep tech on the platform, and hold a really relaxed and entertaining rapport throughout all their shows. You will learn something valuable each time and they seem like dudes that you would want to grab a beer and hang with. TLDR: it’s really good...probably should’ve put that at the top
-
KipWinger777Great show- really entertainingGood mix of development, industry information and humor (dad/dev jokes of course).

Hollywood5001Enjoyable Salesforce Platform Focused PodcastI have recently started enjoying this podcast on my work commutes. I can’t believe all the years I’ve been in Salesforce ecosystem it’s taken me this long to subscribe! If you are involved in the Salesforce ecosystem and want an entertaining, balanced, and kool-aid (aka Ohana) free podcast look no further!

ralphcralphcNot just Salesforce development, software development in generalThere is a lot to love about the Good Day Sir podcast. Of course, Jeremy and John give you an honest, unbiased assessment of the Salesforce development landscape. But beyond Salesforce, their discussions are applicable to navigating the realities of large company and enterprise software development in general. The best part is that Jeremy and John have genuninely different points of view on topics, instead of two talking heads saying the same thing. Each of them raise good points on a subject, listen to each other and build on the insights of the other. I'm "retired guy" from episode 135, "Some Wisdom in the Rambling", and their discussion on my question is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. My only criticism is I don't drink, well I don't drink as much as these two so I wouldn't miss the alcohol talk. Of course, I'm retired and they're still working with Salesforce so I can understand their need to drink.

MonkeyfufuGreat podcast! These guys rock. They provide real information and no cult gloss of Disney's Cody, Cloudy, and Appy. And they aren't from the bubble of SF!

WiznoExquisite EntertainmentJohn and Jeremy are standing at the edge of a cliff gazing into the unknown when all of a sudden they hear a ruckus in the distance that seems to be quickly approaching. They focus their attention on the disturbance as it continues to click and clank as it continues to approach, and they notice a very familiar face. As the figure approaches, Jeremy turns to John and blurts out the first thing that comes to mind, resulting in a shrieking "myyy fitbittt". The figure whizzes by them greeting them only with "wooooooo" before haphazardly diving off the edge. The two look over in amazement and shout "You can't do this with salesforce" to their cliff jumping acquaintance. Jokes aside, these guys cover a nice variety of topics in and around the Salesforce ecosystem. They provide criticism where it's due, while offering solutions where they see potential for improvement. The soundboard is a huge plus too. I live for this haha.

DBerg30Informative, funny, honestCome for the Apex, stay for the Angel's Envy. John and Jeremy get pretty deep on the developer side of Salesforce yet manage to make a very interesting, informative, and funny podcast that covers the entire ecosystem - 18 clouds and all. They pull no punches and cut through the marketing fluff to present an honest view of all things Salesforce (and craft beer, whiskey, rolling trucks, and excessively cleaning apple products). This podcast is the f*tbit!
-
NewsfdevAwesomeJohn and Jeremy are awesome. Very insightful about Salesforce as well as things happening around in tech industry. Sometimes they are so funny..it's like S Rogen and J Franco having a good time.
-
jason_niebauerOne of my favorite Salesforce podcasts! These guys are funny and keep it real when it comes to understanding what's going on in the Salesforce ecosystem! I enjoy hearing their feedback on new Salesforce features coming to the platform as well as picking up some tips and feedback on developer tools that help increase productivity. Give this podcast a listen, you won't regret it!

Matt TrivisonnoA Must for all Salesforce Stakeholders.Excellent podcast, especially if you are training to be a Salesforce developer. I listened to the entire back-catalog as I was learning Apex and it was very helpful. If you are not a coder, then the technical discussions will sound like white noise to you, but you will surely enjoy the rest of the show which covers the entire spectrum of the Salesforce phenomena. From the tech, to earnings reports, to Marc Benioff's political activism, Jeremy & John cover it all and put on a great show.

Daddy’s Apple AccountBest Salesforce related podcast I've found to dateI just discovered these guys recently. As a noob developer, (I've been an admin for lomst 10 years and just decided to psuh over to the dev side of things)listening to John and Jeremy is the most educational thing I've found. It's like getting a chance to sit on the corner booth with two extremely experienced developers and eavesdrop on their conversation. You never know what you are going to hear but it will always be genuine and unvarnished opinion. I especially appreciate their sharing their unvarnished opinions on both the good and the bad about Salesforce as well as other topics. Much recommended to everyone. I have a three-hour round trip commute each day, so I listen to the new epsiodes and the back catalog almost every day.

RobynECAA must-listen even if you click instead of codeLike many others before me, I fell into the role of accidental nonprofit techie some years back and among my responsibilities was administration of the organization's Salesforce account. I'm still at it, self-teaching myself along the way, and boy was I glad to stumble across this podcast! As an idealistic cynic, I love the hosts' take and tone and critical perspective--I especially appreciated last week's thoughtful analysis of the realpolitik behind Salesforce's curious recent hire. While I sometimes don't understand a word they're saying when they're focusing on the nuts and bolts of software development, I like being challenged to learn more, and I definitely have since becoming a regular listener and irregular Slack team visitor. Thanks for keeping me informed and entertained while I keep our data clean.

Jmart360What's going on in good developers mind?Always insight. As a manager of a team of management consultants and developers it's great to be able to insight into how a good developer thinks, what makes them tick and what a good project should look like. Keep it coming.

Kedar JoshiAwesome, phenomenal podcastI thoroughly enjoy listening to John and Jeremy talk not just about Salesforce, but a wide variety of other interesting topics. This podcast is a must for anyone, especially developers who are in the Salesforce ecosystem.
-
Ray DehlerActually interestingThese guys provide a great skeptical, realistic, no-BS outlook to all things Salesforce. No kool-aid found here, only bourbon and beer. Don't let their humble demeanor fool you, they know their stuff. I agree with everything you say, guys. Keep it up!

matk62YOU GET NOTHING! YOU LOSE if you do not subscribe to Good Day Sir!This is a must listen for any developer working with Salesforce. Jeremy & John give an honest assessment of the platform, tools and issues they encounter in their daily lives as developers. While this is Salesforce focused, they will wander off on many tangents regarding tech news of all kind. Always interesting to hear them cut through the crap on industry announcements and give the “real” meaning of what is being said. Also enjoy lurking on the Good Day Sir! slack channel, congrats on 100 episodes!
-
MoysiekBest Salesforce Podcast there isThis is the greatest podcast for any seasoned Salesforce professional. FranieVery entertainingWon't miss this podcast for anything - the 4-roses single barrel mention turned out to be my new favourite bourbon. I always gain new industry insights and the depth of the technology discussions by our hosts. A no bullshirt podcast - highly recommended.
-
theoasisTherapyI subscribe to several podcasts and only very few of them get my attention front-to-back or gets me to listen to every episode. This podcast is one of the few. John and Jeremy are hilarious. I LOVE when they get into debates and passionately defend their views. Their honest and informed perspective on Salesforce is refreshing and very helpful. Thanks for doing this guys!
-
evanshruggedAn Enjoyable Time For AllI know that I have a high chance of getting on the podcast by giving a one or two star rating but I can't, it's just too good. This is the first Salesforce podcast that doesn't sound like it was produced by the Salesforce Marketing/PR department. The hosts are Salesforce experts and I learn something on every episode.
-
ShellBlack.comMore Yoshiki!!!I've listened to every episode, so I feel I can leave a review. John and Jeremy have been in the Salesforce ecosystem for over a decade - they've seen it all (configuration, development, Dreamforce, customers, partners, the community, etc.). They cut through the marketing hype, touch the product on a daily basis, talk to customers, and develop (code) on Salesforce to make a living. They cover technology in general, but Salesforce is the main recurring theme. If you want marketing infused syrupy sweet Salesforce messaging, this is not the podcast for you. If you want a balanced perspective of working on the platform – tune in!

Jackson A. StoneMakes Salesforce Bearable.Love tech related podcasts. Started job with heavy SF development, thrilled there's a podcast for it. Listen to you guys regularly now. Keep it up!

unkl lgWhat?I know nothing of coding, or anything of Salesforce. I feel like when I listen, I am staring to comprehend what is being talked about! John and Jeremy work well off each other, great podcast! Keep it up!!

KCSanDiegoEssential Listening for Salesforce ProfessionalsI am writing this mostly to express my appreciation to John and Jeremy for all the effort they clearly put into producing this podcast. I have listened to all the other Salesforce podcast and this is definitely my favorite. Here is a list of how they stand out: 1) These guys are "coders" and clearly know what they are talking about. Many other podcast are hosted by admins who are sometimes confused by new Salesforce features like Lightning Components. They also discuss other happenings in the wider software development community with authority. 2) New configuration features are discussed from the context of a coder, so I get a clear idea of their limits and when Apex code is needed. 3) Many other Podcasts are hosted by MVPs (or wannabes) and Salesforce employees that sound like a cult handing out Kool-aid. These guys regularly provide criticism of flaws in the product and management that I find very refreshing and insightful. 4) Lastly, the podcast is just fun to listen to. The interplay is humorous, relaxed, and congenial. I am never impatient for it to end. Please keep up the good work!!!

Nick MashHilarious, Informative, No BS Salesforce PodcastWhat I love about this podcast is that it isn’t riddled with Salesforce marketing or promotion - not that I’ve found a podcast that is, but I think it’s worth noting. It’s just two - funny - guys discussing what they do and don’t like about working with Salesforce. I’ve been meaning to write a review for a long time but never got around to it. Thanks, Jeremy and John!

ianstubbsHighlight of my weekNot just a great Salesforce podcast, not even just a great technology podcast, but one of the greatest podcasts out there. The dynamic between Jeremy and John rivals Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, making any topic come to life. The care and thought they both have for the Salesforce ecosystem is expressed with candor, honesty and a good amount of humor.
-
SnoeCloudThe Best Salesforce PodcastEasily the best Salesforce podcast out there today. While also covering a wide range of technology related topics, Jeremy and John are great hosts who are extremely knowledgable about the Salesforce platform. No “duckies and bunnies” approach here, these guys speak straight to the truth. This podcast is worth a listen to anyone involved with Salesforce. Keep up the good work fellas.

David LittonClear as Crystal - #1 Salesforce PodcastJohn and Jeremy play very well off of each other and provide amazing insights into not just Salesforce, but the industry as a whole. The sound effects throughout the podcast are quite clever and provide some comedic relief throughout. This podcast is great for both admins and developers! If you’ve seriously read this far into my review you should have already hit the “Subscribe” button… what are you waiting for?
