Nourishing the Mother

16

Mothering can be an inspired journey to our most glittering, authentic, passionate, creative and connected selves. Through the mirror offered to us by our children, we are taken to every hurt, unmet need, and also every joy and excitement we’ve ever experienced. We want every woman and mother to give themselves and those around them the compassion, love and healing they so readily offer their children, but rarely allow themselves. Journey with us as we discuss the many layers of being a mother today, where we have come from and where we want to go. Learn tools to connect with yourself, offer compassion to those parts we’d rather deny and get back in love with yourself, motherhood and who you are as a feminine woman.

    The “mmmming” is obnoxious
I’m not sure which host it is, but one of them continually makes a humming/moaning “mmmmm” noise every two sentences when the other person is speaking and it’s honestly so annoying I had to turn it off!

    Great resource
Overall incredibly insightful. There are some audio issues and a lot of “mmmmms” between them. And the episodes are long. But I still recommend it.

    Great topics
These women have so much insight. However, one of the hosts constantly goes “mmmmmm” loudly into the mic while the other is talking and I personally find it very distracting and annoying. Maybe pull back from the mic a little while listening.

    Brilliant!
Bridget and Julie are funny, down to earth and so knowledgeable. I learn more from them than I do from reading a book. With their generous sharing of life stories they have helped me to put into practice all the theories I’ve read about, but often struggled to apply to life. I’ve had exponential growth as a woman in all roles of life after listening to this podcast the last 6 months. Highly recommend if you’re thinking of becoming pregnant, are pregnant, or have children already. Actually, any woman would benefit and grow from listening.

I love listening to these women! They remind me of conversations with my own best friend and I feel inspired and joyful after each episode. I especially loved their reflections on finding your zone of genius...delighted by their wisdom and powerful energy!
