I found I was getting frustrated with my lack of blogging success to the point that I seriously contemplated quitting. I’m not a quitter but I felt depleted. Along came Darren with his no-nonsense personality and realistic, actionable tips to grow a blog. I’m an award-winning journalist and longtime PR person and I thought blogging would be a breeze with those two skills but the reality is those skills help but there’s so much more. I googled “imposter syndrome”, something I have diagnosed but really wanted to explore! Found “ProBlogger” and fell in love. Darrin is the epitome of everything I had no idea that existed! He is real. He is humble. He is everything you need to understand and build your blog!!!!! I incidentally heard one episode (101 I think) and cannot stop listening. I am a newer listener and started with the earlier episodes. I love the insights shared about what to do both on my blog and off. I’ve taken Darren’s advice to put all my tasks into a detailed calendar and this has made such a difference for my productivity as well as work-life balance. I leave each episode with a post-it full of achievable action items and I am always looking forward to the next episode!

You won't find a bigger phony doing a podcast than this guy. A recent podcast recommended products from Thrive Themes. Based on his recommendation, I purchased the products and found them extremely lacking. When I asked a question in the Facebook group, Laney made a condescing, half-hearted effot to help, then told me to askl for a refund and blocked me from the group. I am convinced that Darren Rowse just recommends products to get the affiliate income and does not bother to check if they work or if the company stands behind what it sell. It is a shame because I have enjoyed these podcats for several years but can no longer listen because I can no longer trust what he says.

I'm so impressed by this podcast. I have listened regularly for the last year and I appreciate Daren's great ideas, kind way, and sincerity. I am so grateful for Darren and this podcast. I finally decided to start a blog and for 3 weeks I listened to at least 50 episodes of incredibly informative and encouraging episodes. I have: set up my site; organized @ least 2 years of topic ideas; my About page looks great; I have 4 written posts; organized notes and list of available episodes to help me stay on track, continue to develop my blog and increase my listeners over the next 6 months.... I don’t think I could be any more prepared and I am incredibly excited to launch. During the process, I searched around for other podcast to see if I was missing anything and each one I checked out lost my attention before I finished the 1st episode - compared to ProBlogger, each one was a weak effort in communication, motivation, quality content and depth. ProBlogger has everything I need in one location - including a reason to laugh. I love to hear Darren say ‘schedule’ 😂

I find myself listening to episodes two - three times because I learn so much. Darren does a good job of summarizing and helping the listener to really understand the points with examples. Thanks so much for continuing to give such valuable content.

I wanted to start a blog but didn't know where to begin. Luckily I stumbled upon the podcast and started listening from the beginning. There is a TON of great information. It can be a bit overwhelming for a newbie but I will continue to use this source as my blog grows and I delve more into it!

ProBlogger is my favorite blogging resource. Darren's advice is unlike anything else I find online and is incredibly valuable. After listening to each podcast, I end up with at least a full page of notes on key ideas or concepts I can use to improve my blog. Not only that, but he is genuine in his storytelling and advice.

So i started a blog about a year ago and this podcast has been crucial to learning so many things you cant find on the internet. So much good information and things to be learned its worth listening to each and every one of them and doing the challenges. This guy knows his stuff!

I am a bit of a podcast junkie, but this is the one I simply will not miss. Darren's information is solid, totally above board (no sleezy practices promoted here!), and extremely practical. Beginning and experienced bloggers can walk away from an episode with an applicable task that will improve their online presence. I especially appreciate his delivery -- you don't doubt his integrity.
