This poďcast has everything I want to hear

I am familiar with ed from clips from MTV raps as a millennial he's alittle bit out of my category but I've viewed him on Rickey smiley shows and clips based on hip hop. After listening to the podcast panel, I took a listen & fell in love! This is a great podcast & I love the format of educational and funny!

I’ve been rockin with Ed Lover and C’mon Son for pretty much my entire Military Career (20 Years in February! I’ve rocked with you videos and clips thru all my deployments and I’m so thankful that you have a Podcast and I can tap in and listen whenever I need a break from the daily grind! That 3O year anniversary break down of 36 Chambers is legendary and should be placed in the Hip Hop AND Rock n Roll Hall of Fame!! C’mon Son!

First and foremost, Ed - congratulations for all of the praise and recognition you have been receiving for your illustrious career. I was compelled to write this review after the ending of episode 287. Thank you for speaking positivity from your heart and advising us to get back to love. Ed please get your audio together, I have to turn whatever I’m listening to you on all the way up but when you play music in between your talking it’s louder than your voice which got me going back and forth with turning up and down during an episode

Love to hear Ed’s perspective on current topics and sharing hip hop based story’s. He is definitely underrated and under appreciated in hip hop history. More importantly his adult male convo is needed today.

Ed claimed on one of these that Jay Z wrote Dre Day for Dr Dre BUT….. consider the timeline, location & persons in said case. How would Jay (who’s first album wasn’t due out until 1996 on the east coast) have any access to Dre (the chronic came out circa 1994 on the west). The only NWA member that was east coastin’ like that that back then was Cube& Easy said before passing away that it didn’t matter who wrote it because it means pay day for him (&his children). Just doesn’t parallel that he would be in that atmosphere so if it’s a fact, we need that origin story. Y’all usually quick to recite those so where’s this supposed one??? I grew up with an older brother , so yo mtv raps was a mainstay so don’t play.

This podcast is hella dope! I expected nothing less from Ed Lover, though. Ed keeps it 100 on here.... love it!

Uncle Ed, I love the show!! My only complaint is the audio only plays on one side of my headphones and if I listen unplugged, the audio is low unless I play the episode from my Echo. I mostly listen on my headphones, on my commute, lunch break or down time.... so please please please correct that for a loyal listener. Thank you!

Absolutely love Ed Lover! Guests are immaculate! Dude is a legend, however its sickening to continue to talk about how it was 30 years ago. We stream because records are rarely sold in stores and people pay for streaming. Its a new day in record selling. Other than that, love it!
