    Hysterical
Laughing out loud in the middle of the night. You’ve enriched my life AND I’m beating everyone else in vet school. Thank you for your hard work. The dogs and cats thank you too!

    so helpful!!
Currently in anatomy for my pre-nursing requirements and every episode i’ve listened to has covered all of the topics my lectures have covered. The first one I watched was about the cardiovascular system and like I said, every topic we learned in class was discussed and it helped prepare me for my exam. I listen to it when i’m driving, studying, doing laundry, etc.

    Perfect for studying
I’m listening from Alabama and I absolutely adore every episode. I’m in school for Occupational therapy and listen to specific episodes to study for tests. Thank you!

    Excellent and Informative
These guys are a wealth of knowledge and I learn so much listening to them. Thankful we have people in the world who can understand medicine and the human body with such depth. All the time and hard work spent has paid off- a fascinating listen.

Dr. Mike and Dr. Matt are superheroes!
I love all the podcasts, I’ve listened to each and every one of them. I listen while jogging or walking my dog. The podcasts have helped me ace A&P class and I’m on my way to nursing school. Much love ❤️

    U da best!
Dear Dr Matt and Dr Mike, Your the best! I love medicine. I have a question, what is the most abundant cell in the lymphatic system. Sincerely, your Child listener
  • ehertzfeld
    Thank you!
I am in an online medical terminology class. The whole thing has been self taught. It wasn’t for your podcast I would never hear the pronunciation of the words despite your Australian accent! You make things so much clearer. I’ve listened to all the systems of the body & now started watching your YouTube videos.

    Very helpful
I think this podcast is very interesting. Especially to me because I’m a nursing major in college which helps me a ton with learning new information. I like how it’s a nice way to learn a lot of information but is still fun so it’s entertaining at the same time.
  • Kaylabrogg
    Love the show
Great show! Really helping to fill in the gaps, and remind myself of things I’ve forgotten over the years. Have you done a heart failure episode? I didn’t see one. Would love an episode on heart failure.
  • zgoode01
    Awesome A&P show
A very fun duo. Great information delivered with a bit of humor so it sticks. Catch them on YouTube for even more!

    great info
This podcast is great in educating the non-medical consumer of health care. I have just been diagnosed with hypertension so I listened to all the podcasts related to blood pressure and hypertension. This has given me a good foundation in discussing hypertension with my doctor and understanding treatment. The podcasts are so enjoyable and helpful that I am in the process of listening to all of them during my walks. What I really appreciate is that they don’t dumb down the info but they explain terms and words.

    Nursing school saviors
I found this podcast after watching a couple of their YouTube videos. Their videos were so helpful, it helped me pass all my exams, and the podcast is just as helpful. Wonderful!

    100% amazing
Stumbled upon this lecture podcast while in nursing school. The topics are explained so well that those with knowledge and those without on the subject learn new and different approaches. Thank you guys, I owe you a beer for some of my good grades!

    Thank you!
These are so easy to listen to - I’m a nursing student and it’s nice to listen to these to get a good comprehensive overview of a specific medical topic :) thank you for making these

    Never stop doctors
I am not a doctor nor medical student. But I am interested in this podcast because I learn about how to do better with undestanding my internal systems. I like both how medications interact and how things work. Good foundation for learning more or for revisiting past knowledge that is not easy to remember.

    Awesome
So so helpful! I’m taking medical assisting classes and this is so helpful getting thoroughly into it and really helps me understand it better👍🏼

    The best medical education podcast!
I usually listen twice. Once all the way through and then a second time making notes for myself. I’m an EMS educator who wants to improve my classroom presentations. I recommend this podcast to all my students!

    Very interesting and helpful!
I started following Dr. Mike on Instagram and loved his depth of knowledge, quick segments and drawings so I popped over to his podcast and love it! I am a certified personal trainer and love to continue, almost daily, listen to his segments with Dr. Matt to improve and also help me retain knowledge.
  • NgaireSG
Awesome for any medical science prerequisites
These podcasts have really helped me grasp the concepts and augment my learning of A&P. Great revision for tests and exams. Thanks guys!
  • goldengirl_96
    LOVE this podcast!!
Going back to school at 44 for medical coding / health information management and this podcast is great for introducing medical concepts in a relatable and unthreatening way. Keep up the awesome work guys!
  • Elemennop
Is this how Australian medicine is?
The hosts ask not to leave a bad review, but you should know that you’ll waste time on this. I had hoped to learn but was very distracted by their having to correct the knowledge of each other. They talk over each other, and the audio is bad besides.
  • FreyaFA
    Easy and Educational listening
Listening to this podcast was a great way to spend my morning transit. The particular episode I most enjoyed allowed me to peek into the mind of a working surgeon, which was super cool since I’d like to shadow one in the future. I think plenty of premeds, and those interested in health and medicine in general would benefit from this podcast.
  • OracioJr8
    Very Informative
Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike are very informative in all of their conversations with each other. They do well in making sure to explain and definite more proper medical terms in a way that non-medical professionals can easily understand. Their podcast on the adaptive immune system shows just how amazing and strong our bodies are.

What it takes to be a surgeon
This podcast was very informational and gave me a different perspective of a surgeon. It’s shocking to hear about what actually goes on in their head and their experiences with different patients. I really liked the quote they stated “kindness matters” because that is what helps surgeons keep doing what they do and helps show that we appreciate them.
  • Maxwak
    The best teachers!
I just love the way these guys teach. The episodes are so memorable and really help me with information recall. Thank you so much for helping me through NP school!
  • ImaniS5
Episode: What it takes to be a surgeon
This was a great episode and very informative to understand the daily life of a surgeon. I was even more interested because I was an aspiring surgeon, but after a shadowing opportunity I learned that was not something I was interested in. However I still have interest in learning about other surgeons journey.

    Great resource!
I love listening to you both! I’m an NP and It’s so nice to be able to refer to some of your episodes if I need a refresher on certain pathologies or just want to delve a little deeper into anatomy as well. Thanks for doing this!

    My medical godfathers
My dad passed away during the pandemic and well I’ve always been into learning things it doesn’t matter if it’s sports or random facts. I’ve been soul searching trying to figure out what I wanted to do and I stumbled across these two. Thank you so much, I am a medical interpreter at a hospital but I don’t get to learn all these things. I’m very young and it’s not good for 20 year olds to not study or work. I never realized how cool learning about medicine was, thank you for these videos. I graduated at 20 and my dad passed away 2 years after, I’ve spent a lot of my time alone but since I started working at the hospital a few months ago and started listening to these videos I’ve learned so much in such little time. I know I’m not ready yet but I love hearing these podcasts, there’s so much incredible knowledge and so many good things to take from these videos
  • Kirby1219
    Nailed my test!!
As someone who struggles with learning and especially testing these two have made my life so much easier!! I first listen to the podcast to get an overview of what I should expect, then I watch the YouTube videos to grab a visual and take some notes, and then I come back to listen again and nail them information until I know it well. Thank you and I’m so happy I found this podcast!!!
  • caityy21
    Highly recommend
Listening to these two, is one of my favorite ways to help me further understand all the material I’m learning in A&P. They are hilarious together and informative! I greatly appreciate all they do! Lots of love from California! Caitlyn

    Thank you so much!!

    Simply the best!
I love these guys! I’ve been a clinical icu pharmacist for over 25 years. These guys make complex physiology understandable, interesting and fun. I’ve re-learned things that were taught to me- but now, I really SEE it! Thanks for an amazing podcast! Looking forward to catching up on all of the episodes. PS: who doesn’t love a nerdy smart person with an accent?!!! Nobody! 🤓
  • MidnightNurse1098
    A must listen!
A must listen for anyone even remotely interested in the body and how it works. This is a great resource for nursing or med students. I love how they break down difficult topics and explain in plain language, all while injecting a bit of humor too. Gotta admit that, as a nurse practitioner, I’m going to be using some of their explanations with my patients!

Anyone who works in healthcare should listen to Dr Matt and Dr Mike.
I work in the medical field as a Speech-Language Pathologist and I’ve always found myself wishing I had a more in depth understanding of human physiology. Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike make learning (about anything) so much fun and I know I’m a better therapist thanks to them!
  • MMA000
    Really good
I got learn so much from this podcast, just brilliant. Need more episodes. More on mental diseases, aging, stool analysis, neurons, etc.
  • MollyMiranda
    Love these!
I love these podcasts so much! They are packed full of information that is presented perfectly & with some humor which is always a plus. I’ve never enjoyed learning anatomy and physiology so much! Anyone looking to get a great foundation in A&P, look no further. They have some fantastic videos as well!
  • Katy Kaus
    The Best!
Thanks for all you do, Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike. Love your material! Question for you - do you have a video/podcast on ventilators??

Love you right after Jim Jeffries
I hope you don’t mind being second best Aussies in my world. Jim is a hard core competition. But seriously, thank you guys you carry me through my RN program. Couldn’t do it without you… listener and YouTube follower from Richmond, Virginia.
  • JKB428
    Very useful!
I’m a nurse practitioner student taking advanced pathophysiology this semester. They take complex subjects and break it down into readily understandable information. And guaranteed you’ll laugh out loud at least once!

    Hiccups
I don’t really listen to any podcasts because I feel like they are not interesting. Hearing this podcast about Hiccups was interesting to me because it explains what hiccups are and how they occur. Hiccups can be gotten rid of in many ways. This podcast was more interesting by the way it was made with all the sound effects throughout the podcast. Hearing this type of podcast made me realize that podcasts are not as boring as I think they are. As I learned more about hiccups, I heard one more podcast about Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike’s Medical podcast and I were not as bad. If I were to hear another podcast, I would recommend Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike’s Medical podcast to others.

I’m not a medical student but I love learning about human biology. This podcast makes working in a warehouse so much better. I listen to at least 5 a day. Thanks Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike!

    Dietary fats
Great info once again!!!! Interesting that my GP several years ago suggested I take 500 mg niacin. I take it that is not an accepted method.
