Katie is great at asking the exact question that I would like to ask. She also knows how to re-direct the conversation so her listeners completely understand the topic and get the most out of every episode. Bravo to A Certain Age and Katie. Well done!

ShievaAs an obgyn who is also a postmenopausal I…So, as an OB/GYN, who is also a postmenopausal from fully understand so much about perimenopause and menopause I still learn so much from every episode of a certain age! MamaNewsFab insights and a really fun listenAs a woman of “a certain age“ I find Katie super relatable and so easy to listen to. Her guests are educational and insightful, and I always come away a little wiser with each episode. Loved Alison Bruhn’s styling wisdom and Dr Wu’s rapid fire answers (no straws!) Keep up the good work❣️

jerseybabydanielleInteresting & informativeI’ve listened to a few of your podcasts and I am hooked! The one on Fascia was fascinating and I am much more mindful of moving more, breathing and hanging from whatever I can find throughout the day. I also plan to order your cousins invention omshe? That is brilliant and beautiful. I look forward to listening and learning more from your topics.

Informative, fast-paced, entertaining, fun… Kate keeps the pace going with great questions and topics. Thank you for not just focusing on the pre-menopausal women…. There are many of us post - menopausal that need good information!
-
MazyboyInsightful, Intelligent and Inspiring!!!I LOVE this podcast! I just turned 60 and my nest has recently emptied. I’ve been looking for different ways to approach (and embrace - hopefully one day soon…) this new stage in my life. This entertaining podcast really speaks to me and helps me feel hopeful. Katie asks intelligent and insightful questions of her guests. Each episode offers interesting topics and new ways to approach this new stage in my life with hope and inspiration! I have followed Dr. Mary Claire Haver since the pandemic and was so happy to hear her spread her wisdom for longer than a TikTok clip. I just bought Microjoys: Finding Hope (Especially) When Life is Not Okay and LOVE this idea that we can find/create these “micro joys” even when we are simultaneously experiencing sadness and grief. I’ve listened to others and I’m looking forward to more. Well done, Katie!!!

Dina NYCA podcast that actually does shift the narrativeThe truth is there are only so many hours in a day, and what feels like a million podcasts vying for my attention but there’s something about this one that really stands out for me. Katie hones in on interesting topics with top notch guests who offer excellent perspectives and solid information. I love that these episodes introduce me to women that are thought leaders in their fields and that there are always relevant bits and pieces of information that I can apply to my own life. Katie knows what questions to ask making this one of the best podcasts for midlife women in my opinion. I always look forward to tuning in to see what’s next. Dina A.

AnneGenevieveListen Learn LaughTune in once and you’ll be hooked. The guests are amazing women with knowledge that we all need. I’ve learned what to eat, and how to exercise how to pivot my career and navigate online dating. Every episode I take away knowledge that I can use today and tomorrow and wished I’d used yesterday. It’s often laugh out loud funny as guests and Katie share funny, ridiculous, and totally relatable stories of midlife. Every time I listen, I feel braver, better informed and more ready to meet the challenges and delights of this incredible chapter of life.
-
Deb PTNew listenerI am a very active just turned 70 year old and a physical therapist involved with womens healthcare education. I am enjoying this podcast and find value in the conversations! Thank you!
-
Holly BoxenhornThank you!New to this podcast but I will definitely be carving off weekly time to listen in. So far I’ve walked away from each episode with new nuggets of information I can implement. There aren’t a whole lot of podcasts committed to solely helping midlife women move more powerfully into the second half of life that I feel compelled to listen to but Katie is a great host asking her guests spot on questions and advice allowing me to walk away more inspired at this stage of my life. Thanks Katie!
-
SFLizzieBFantastic podcast for midlife women!I’m a huge fan of Katie Fogarty and this age-positive podcast! It’s one of the first ones I ever listened to about navigating life in the middle years. I especially love Katie’s interview style and how she gets her guests to share such wonderful nuggets of wisdom.
-
Rachel in MassachusettsGreat content!Katie’s topics are terrific- varied, provocative, fun- and always leave the listener in a better and more positive frame of mind. It’s my favorite companion to my morning exercise routine! Thank you Katie!
-
ellie g rMust listen!I love this podcast all of the episodes are amazingly interesting. I learned more about menopause hormones and my health as a 52 year old than I ever had before! Thank you!!
-
StudioPotreroThe Podcast That Sees YouLast year my gynecologist had cancelled my annual exam twice to deliver babies and I was feeling really why bother in terms of women’s health care. Friends were aging beside me but we didn’t always share the same challenges: where they were dealing with empty nests, I was dealing with dating in mid age. Then I found A Certain Age. What I love about this podcast is the variety of topics which don’t assume every woman over 50 is the same. You may want guidance on dealing with urinary incontinence while I may need help with menopausal acne solutions and marionette lines. You may want to learn more about injecting improv in your life and I may want to know more about financial planning for aging in place. It’s all there. Katie also offers great advice from professionals in medicine, career planning, and overall trying to keep it together and thrive people. It’s been helping me reset my compass and hopefully it will for you too.
-
BeckaplautzTHE bestI love this podcast! There’s so much shared wisdom about things we face as we are aging. It’s all about laughing, being proud of who we are, and learning from others. The guest speakers are excellent, and after a few episodes, Katie seems like and old friend. I highly recommend!!
-
JenpalexPart of the problemI habe gotten some useful information from episodes, but to do so I have to wade through a morass of diet culture and anti aging product ads (sometimes as part of the episodes). S as women of a cousin age, we should be resisting the dangerous negative societal expectations and use our wisdom and strength to help younger women avoid our musicals.
-
AmieVCThank you!As a Gen X woman who feels like she was 17 one day & 45 the next, I’m so happy to have found this gem.
-
Donne DavisYou give me courage to age out loudEvery time I listen I feel a little braver about saying my age. Just like you say - if we don’t say our age, then no one will know what that age looks like. I loved your interview with Mimi Ison of @heymiddleage. Her moves blow me away💪😍
-
SothisisannieJane GreenI loved your episode with Jane Green! I knew her as a writer, but I was so inspired to hear about her next chapter. Thank you for always asking good questions and keeping me motivated/encourages with all of your great guests!
-
writinginblackandwhitePhenomenal — a must listen each weekRegardless of topic, Katie’s interviews — and fantastic guests — are nothing short of insightful, fun and inspiring. I find myself often nodding along as I listen and learn. A must listen for anyone approaching midlife or in the throes of it all!!
-
914CSpiritualityYou are an amazing interviewer—never interrupting, just guiding your guests along I just listened to the podcast on Spirituality I identified with so much of what the author had to say. It was very helpful to me Scrolling through to find this one again ( it’s only the second one I’ve listened to) I was fascinated by all the topics you cover I am totally hooked ! I want to hear them all. Great work! Connie Vaughan
-
LwkateLove this podcastFrank, funny interviews with great guests that go straight to the heart of issues facing women. Each episode is a gold mine of ideas, emotional support and self-discovery. I feel like I’m part of the conversation at the best dinner party imaginable, and I get to take home everyone’s number. Thank you so much, Katie!
-
CMCH999So Relevant!A Certain Age podcast is so relevant to the challenges and joys of this season of life. I just listened to the episode on caregiving during my drive to my mom’s as I am caring for her. The speaker was so insightful and I learned in 30 minutes useful information to help my mom and my family during this time - plus was encouraged in the midst of a stressful time. The questions were straightforward and timely. Thank you for this episode and others that have been helpful as well. Looking forward to more!
-
