this has gotten me into root and all of leder games works. Funny, informative, and something i can always recommend to new listeners. There is an audio issue with some earlier episodes, but season two onward seem to be working just fine.

Amazing content, fun to listen to, highly recommend

I've been playing ROOT for a couple of years, but only seriously for the past year. The Woodland War Machine podcast is, hands down, the ultimate gameplay resource out there. Jake, Sam, and Kyle do great job analyzing the game while offering humorous banter throughout. If you're looking to work your way through their episodes chronologically or just cherry pick the ones you need. Their insight and knowledge of the game ROOT is unsurpassed. I've made my way through all the episodes and now I'm on my second round... and loving it even more.

This podcast is exactly what my Root stupid brain needed to learn and get better at the game. I love this game and the podcast makes me love it even more. They go deep into each faction as well as random topics that I never thought would be able to fill 90 minutes of my time but they do every time! I wish more people made podcasts about the things they love like this!

This podcast has some great tips and how to guides for the various factions. Take any stats they give with a huge grain of salt, mostly because the stats are (almost entirely) based on two root tournaments.

If you’re into the Root board game and want to learn some in depth strategy, this is the podcast for you. Well recorded and good audio quality.

Whether you’re newer to root, or a veteran, this show is a must listen. Jake, Kyle, and Sam discuss Root in a very thorough and entertaining style. Each episode thus far I have found myself learning something knew and literally laughing out loud. The three really make a dynamic trio and I’m excited for future episodes!

These guys lay everything out so well. I’m stoked that they’ve put forth the effort to make something so great, for a game that deserves it!

It’s a great show about a great game that I’ve long thought deserved a dedicated focus like this. I’ll be following this crew for a while to come!
