    After finding a case on a different podcast- I look the case up on The Murder Podcast and get their breakdown on the case. I glean new details on each case. I discovered them just recently and wish I found them sooner.

    I really reaaaally got excited when I read the reviews. But I honestly couldn’t get past the first episode. I tried increasing the speed to 1.25, then 1.5. No worky. Just. Made. It. Hard. To.     One of the Best True Crime Podcasts Out There
    Two big things going for this show. Number one, the two hosts are objective, they aren’t pushing an agenda or getting caught up in nonsense conspiracy theories. Number two, these guys have law enforcement backgrounds that make their observations much more valid. No nonsense, just the facts.

    Check info on Brian Deneke. The girl’s name that was in Camp’s car was actually Elise and not Elsie. So far, great to listen to. Being from the Amarillo area, the stories based in our area are of special interest. I remember them and know of some of the players. Thanks for your hard work.

    I was looking for a podcast that provided a straightforward discussion on the Melissa Lucio case when I stumbled across The Murder Project. I love your podcast! I always start with the oldest to newest episodes so I’m currently listening to the Melissa Beavers Debrief and I almost fell out of my chair this morning laughing when you said a tree branch went up your nose and you were talking to Jesus in this lady’s backyard - I sincerely needed you all in my life 😂.

    These guys got me through packing and a cross-country move, so first things first THANK YOU! I really like the format of getting straight facts then a discussion. The crime junkie type vibe was getting a little old for me, so this is an awesome change of pace to two dudes who are easy to listen to and don’t have all the other nonsense.

    I really like the format. I enjoy getting the details of the case first, forming my own opinion and then getting to hear their thoughts. I also think they do a great job looking at each case objectively. I just discovered the podcast and can’t wait to see how the podcast continues to develop.

    I listen to true crime podcasts on a daily basis. I’m subscribed to a handful of favorites. The debriefing brings the story telling to a whole new level. Going deeper into the investigation and court cases really helps understand how justice is served.

Enjoy hearing different stories I have not heard before like on other podcast. I really like the breakdown and discussion of the case that dives into overlooked things, and theories.

    This has got to be one of the best true crime podcasts I’ve listened to in a long time! I love the addition of the debrief episode that Justin has with Mike using both their knowledge and expertise on analyzing crimes and investigations.. Definitely recommend!!!

    I love this podcast and look forward to it every week! Y’all keep me interested the whole time I’m listening and make me laugh. I’m from Lubbock so it’s interesting to hear y’all talk about different places in Lubbock, Amarillo and the surrounding towns. I’d love to hear about more ‘local’ cases like Rosendo Rodriguez, Jeremy Spielbauer and Jay Kelly Pinkerton.

    The Murder Project, a successful project
    Providing detail from the skilled viewpoints of law enforcement as well as solid in depth fact driven information allow each episode to be entertaining, very informative, and dare I say maybe a little cinematic. The Debrief is equally excellent, providing a more relaxed and less dark approach to some of the crime. The dialogue of multiple hosts allows the episodes to stay fresh in their approach to subject matter.

    Good times.
    Been listening since the first episode and Justin and Mike bring an entertaining take to these tales. I’ve listened to quite a few true crime Podcasts over the years and have always been frustrated by some of really dumb, or should I say uneducated things hosts would ask or say simply because they have no real idea outside of watching television how law enforcement or the criminal Justice system work. These guys bring some first hand knowledge along with some levity to some pretty disturbing stuff. During the debriefs I feel like I’m sitting in the kitchen with them b.s. ing with two guys I know. Definitely worth a listen.
