Not just a podcast; a game club!
Love this listener-participation format! Chat about the upcoming game on the discord (or past games or a host of other topics both on and off) and then listen to the capstone! Good chemistry between the hosts as well!

    Great bunch of lads
Love listening to these guys. The conversations are engaging, the editing is pro-level and the games are great fun to play along with. Looking forward to more!

    Like hanging out with friends
I love listening to these guys, and what’s especially unique about their podcasts is that they have very different levels of experience with homebrew, which makes conversations more interesting. They cover a range of genres across a range of consoles, giving exposure to some very worthy homebrews. Listening to them is like hanging out with old friends you’re excited to share your games with. If only they could hear me talking back in their chats.

    Top Tier
HBGC has quickly risen to the top of my podcast list! In addition to being generally very entertaining, the “invite the community to play the games along with us” format really adds a whole new dimension. My wife and I have done some recent roadtrips and these episodes definitely helped make the long stretches fun for us.

    Informative and entertaining!
This is a great show covering the home brew gaming scene, often with some additional entertaining banter about food. All good things! High production values, great hosting, quality content… this podcast has it all!

    New games for old consoles
What’s not to like about homebrew video games, people discussing homebrew video games, and interviews with homebrew video game developers? Great stuff

    Best podcast for homebrew games!
These guys are great! They give full, detailed, reviews of homebrew games for a variety of systems. There is no bias and they are not afraid to discuss any shortcomings the games might have as well. By far the best podcast for anyone interested in the homebrew gaming scene.

    Off to a good start!
I really enjoyed the first couple episodes and the guys have good chemistry and funny banter that makes an hour of Lizard talk quite palatable! I recently finished catching up on The Assembly Line episodes and was in need of another source to learn more about what’s happening in the Homebrew world. I’m a long term NES kid and just getting into home brews so this content is awesome. Now to find earplugs for the kiddo. Super Mario Bros. 2 cartridge has a mouth on it.
