Average Joes Chess

The only chess podcast that non-chess players love. Funny and occasionally informative chess banter from 2 average joes. It’s a chess podcast that most chess players can relate to. It’s like listening in to banter between two blokes in a pub chatting about chess and other stuff. There’s a lot of serious chess podcasts out there for serious chess players - this isn’t one. Who knew chess could be funny?New episodes every Sunday night.

    The Beef Wellington of Podcasts.
This is, without even the slightest doubt, the BEST chess podcast that is not really about chess. It is an absolutely hilarious podcast, but it also comes with an awesome chess club on chess.com and community of exceptional lovers willing to share positive vibes and lots of laughs. If you are thinking about this might not be for you, well good luck to you because you’re an idiot. This podcast is for everyone that likes to laugh, mostly at Joe’s expense, but he’s proper good at taking it.. cheers to both Al and Joe, and everyone involved in making MY FAVORITE PODCAST EVER!

    Chess Comedy
Rarely do I find myself doubled over laughing, but these hosts obliterate any shred of self composure. They’re a breath of fresh air and help not to take the game (or myself) too seriously with shenanigans, banter, challenges, and PLAY.

    Too much chit chat
Stick to the subject matter. You need to only talk about chess. There are better podcasts if you want to listen to small talk. Somebody needs to make a good chess podcast.

    Lovely podcast.
Have recently become obsessed with chess after having not played it for over a decade, and working graveyard shift I binge podcasts a lot. Synchronistically this podcast started up right as I got back into chess, though I didn’t see it until tonight. Two episodes in and it’s been somewhat informative; and very entertaining. Lots of good chess podcasts out there, but if you’re like me and have trouble studying chess through an audio format, these guys provide an entertaining discussion that helps you learn and enjoy listening without feeling lost.
