CBK 2000Great StuffPossibly the best podcast ever made
-
TaffyDavenportYawnThe premise of this podcast is a thinly veiled excuse for the host and his guests to yammer on endlessly about themselves. Ugh.
-
joshdaycomedyIn Clements WeatherI’d brave any storm for a pod from this boy. Good stuff always. Huzzah!

Wefubedcnijedc✍️👑I’ve been following Sean since the Reality Show Show days and looooove this show. His movie takes and industry experiences have me wishing episodes were 5x longer.

L. Grant S.Homework That I LoveNever before has anyone been able to make me watch a black and white movie from the 1950s on a deadline, and then have me do it again a week later. But Sean and his guests have me emphatically prioritizing movie nights just so I can be up to snuff on the insights that they provide both on the film itself as well as their own related experiences in the industry, however many decades later. This podcast is the sole reason why I don’t want the writers strike to end.

AmanHassanI’ve got it from hereMy thanks to the Clem Dog for inspiring me, a renowned Hollywood mover & shaker and cinephile, to start a film re-watch podcast. Bravo!

Hollywood BigshotLoving it!I’ve been a Hollywood handbook fan for years. Im really enjoying the more serious interviews Sean is conducting with this show. He’s very knowledgeable and does a good job bouncing back and forth between observations of the movie and personal stories. One suggestion would be to ask every guest at the top of the show the questions you asked Broti “what are your best and worst pitch stories.” I really enjoyed that segment.

Sean Gets BucketsMoviesI love this podcast about movies.

Jorge0414Great concept by a great podcasterI’ve loved Hollywood Handbook for about 6 years. I love the characters they play but I always get excited to hear Sean and Hayes dropping the act. I’m not movie expert but I’ve really enjoyed his discussions of these movies. This week’s episode with Broti Gupta had a good balance of discussing the movie and relating to their own careers, with the absurd bits we know and love them for.

CocoasdfThis Helped!Sean is maybe one of the smartest and quickest and funniest, if you’re in to that.

Josh WerthFunny, genuine, accessible show about movies & creativityA funny, warm, sardonic (but not too much!) show about movies and the creative process. Sean Clements has a cult following, but you don’t have to understand all the silly inside jokes which you’ll find in the other reviews on here. You can enjoy this show even if you’ve never heard of the host before. It’s NOT alienating. It’s a genuinely vulnerable look into the creative process from a talented writer (although sometimes kicking and screaming with layers of irony and self awareness). If you already like Sean from other stuff, then of course you’ll like this. I’m a longtime fan (but not the annoying kind), and it’s right up my alley. But this is worth your time if you’re not already a fan, too. If you like comedy, movies, and writing, you’ll find something here. And if you’ve, say, read a Vulture review of Hollywood Handbook, Sean’s main show, and you’ve been looking for a toehold on a pretty insular thing — you’ll find a warm, likable host here. Try it out!
