Sharon LikeLook No FurtherThere are infinity-and-one movies podcasts out in podcast world— most are bad, some are good, a few might be great, but one has to be the best. Movies Babyyyyy (with five y’s) is THE ONE. I wrote a spectacularly long review of Joe and Brett’s first movie-themed podcast, “Weekend at Bergman’s,” a show that I encourage you to investigate also, as it’s the foundation upon which the Movies Babyyyyy empire was built,. I‘ll avoid re-writing that review here, but what you need to know is that Brett and Joe are totally built to be your new Siskel and Ebert. The main difference is that these two are funnier than anyone else who has tried this, and remarkably thoughtful in their collective approach. While you may not agree with all of their takes, they are always honest, and thereby avoid the traps of cynicism, posturing, and unaddressed bias that could plague others in their position. (They address their biases as much as possible.) If you love movies you are very, very, very likely to love this podcast. Give it a proper spin, and you might just get hooked!

analogkid8Best movie podcast out thereSure, it is the only movie podcast I listen to. But that’s because it is the best one. I love when Joe and Brett argue, especially when Joe mutters something like “how dare you” while Brett is in the middle of making his argument. You boys keep me laughing and inspire me to see more movies!
