Corner of the Galaxy is a weekly Internet Radio Show dedicated to covering the LA Galaxy. Good galaxy information

Good Galaxy information. But the inability to pronounce basic words or people’s names, the consistent out of context use of low intelligence phrases, like “all that good stuff”, just to fill any gap in talking, and the lack of any football knowledge outside of MLS; are all tough to take. Basically a Galaxy homer podcast that has good information on the Galaxy, but doesn’t scratch the itch of serious football fans.

Hey COTG crew! Just want to write this before I’m potentially too bitter for the next three months. Im a full-blooded LAFC fan but this is one of the best MLS podcasts out there. I started listening in 2017 when allesandrini deserved better, and before my team came back from hiatus. You guys almost always bring something smart to say along with great old mls stories. Jose and his guest always put on a great show making sure that it is an enjoyable podcast for all listeners while also talking about everything Galaxy. Always up to date with transfer rumors as they have a great website to help you stay connected. You can also find their podcasts on YouTube as they normally record them with face cams.

Great podcast if you’re a Galaxy fan

This is the best Galaxy podcast (not that there are an overwhelming amount of options). Josh and his guests (Panda, Hammer, et al) know what they’re talking about. Some people out there disagree, but they’re idiots. My only criticism is that it physically makes me cringe when Josh says “whenever” whenever he means “when”.

I love Corner of the Galaxy Podcast for all my Galaxy info and entertainment! Josh is an amazing host, organized and dedicated. Larry Morgan Not On Twitter has the voice of an angel. Sophie and Kevin are pretty entertaining despite their major character flaws of being Man City and Arsenal fans. Eric is my fave co-host due to his amazing game previews....legit....they are hilarious. Everyone involved is great and I love knowing the news before it happens! Thanks for the podcast!

This is the LA Galaxy

This is the best galaxy podcast and one of the best world football podcasts. As an LFC fan as well I’ve tried every LFC podcast out there and can’t get into them because they aren’t as informative, fun and insightful as COG. I moved back to my home state two years ago. But home is in LA for me and COG keeps that tie going. I looked forward to this podcast every week as soon as it’s up. Josh is excellent. The panda is informative. And the hammer makes it fun. Enjoying the addition of Sophie as well. Perfect set of hosts and personalities. COG should be the official pre game and half time crew at some point. Keep up the great work. It’s appreciated.

Highly recommend

If you’re a fan of Galaxy and MLS this is a real treat. I’m a huge Galaxy fan and my love of the team has only been expanded by listening to Josh and friends break down every aspect of Galaxy football and MLS as a whole. Josh does an incredible job researching everything Galaxy and provides clarity on all the convoluted rules of MLS. It’s especially fun to listen to rumors during the off-season. All of his guests provide major contributions to the program. Perfect mix of fun, humor, and nuanced analysis. Thanks Josh and everyone at the podcast. Hope this continues for many years to come.

Perfect blend of humor and information regarding a local team in Los Angeles. Not a huge Galaxy fan but this podcast makes the team sound so much more interesting.

I've been listening to this pdcast for a while and I love it. They give the fans true perspective on whats going on with the team. Especially since theyre not officially part of the team they can give no biased opinion which is awesome.

It's getting better...

If your a CoG listener like me then you have probably subscribed and unsubscribed several times. Josh has been described as Adam Serrano's podcast clone by some because of his unwavering support for the Galaxy front office and ability to avoid asking the hard questions. If your a frustrated Galaxy supporter then you download the episodes with Wendy or Kevin as guests because they give you a bit more of the fans perspective. Josh is a great host and Galaxy die-hard, but with all the guests he has from the front office he needs to press them for answers the fans want to hear. Time to take the show to the real journalist level and leave behind the planted stories by Adam. If you haven't listened in a while then give it another chance...he is only getting better. "LA!"..."Galaxy!"

Favorite podcast when Corey isn't on

Love this podcast never miss an episode! But please never have Corey as a co-host his voice puts your audience to sleep and he never lets you (Josh) get your important information out to us. Definitely will unsubscribe if he's on regularly. Keep up the great work!

A Show That Has Fun Doing Its Homework

Los Angeles is the media capital of the United States (sorry, New York City), so it’s no surprise the LA Galaxy has a fan podcast that is professionally produced as anything you’ll hear from big producers like ESPN. Hosts John Guzman and Cory Ritzau clearly have done their homework. They record their shows live and take unscreened calls from listeners, yet they are informed and professional throughout. Excellent podcast. Well worth a listen.

Simple and to the point the most up-to-date information related to La Galaxy, it would be great if we can have two weekly episodes, and the guest used line phones instead of Cell phones audio quality not as good using cell phones.

Content is great. Love hearing the press conference recordings of the players and coaches etc. Jared is the better part of the show. Jared needs to lose his regular job and host podcasts by himself. Each host he works with(Josh and Jason Davis) is annoying.

Essential Info for LA Galaxy Fans

I'm a Galaxy fan, so I appreciate the extensive coverage provided by the Corner of the Galaxy podcast. One thing that I don't enjoy (which I why I'm only giving a 4-star rating) is listening to co-host Jared DuBois' frequent and annoying, contrarian remarks. He seems to say some things just to get a rise out of co-host Josh Guesman. Maybe it's a way to add some drama to the show, but it turns me off and detracts from my learning more about the Galaxy (which is why I'm listening to the podcast in the first place). Anyway, I'm glad to see some different co-hosts being added into the mix. The new segments that were added this year (including interviews with Galaxy players and coaches) have really made this podcast an essential part of following the LA Galaxy.
