I made it thru the first season of the show but likely won’t continue. Erin is honestly an awful, obnoxious person. Everything has to be centered around her and she clearly cannot get enough of the sound of her own voice. Admitting you’re a narcissist doesn’t make your obnoxious behavior any better. Pls don’t ever do another podcast…

Erin Mallory Long and Jamie Woodham are such lovely hosts and I presume, people (???) and deserve success and love and very nice things!!!

I would have given this podcast 5 stars if I wasn’t constantly annoyed by everything that comes out of Erin’s mouth. Her stories are just awful, most of the time they are completely random and it’s so obvious she just loves talking about herself and thinks she has lots of interesting things to say. Jamie is definitely my favorite. And I miss Krista.

I just found this podcast and was curious to hear the review of the reunion. I think the content related to this episode is great but almost couldn’t listen to it because the two hosts say “like” so much it totally takes away from the show. It’s like saying “um” all the time.

Love Erin & Jamie, and Krista when she was on earlier. This has been one of my favorite go-to podcasts since I started listening a few years ago. Friends is one of my favorite shows, so I was looking for a podcast that would talk about the show. It’s so much fun to hear Erin and Jamie talk about the show because they are true fans and love the show as much as we do. At this point they really feel like my one sided friends 😂. If you are a friends fan, or even if you’re not honestly and looking for a fun podcast, definitely give them a listen. You’ll be hooked.

I started listening to the pod from the beginning in March of 2021 and have now finished every episode. I had high hopes even through Joey. I struggled deciding what to rate this because there are sooo many great moments of the pod! I started at 5 stars and subtracted based on the quality of the bad moments: The hosts CANNOT stop talking about themselves. Erin’s incessant need to be the center of attention brought my rating down a star. We don’t need to hear every other episode that you think you’re Rachel. Additionally, Jamie, we don’t need to hear you compare yourself to Chandler every episode either. The constant need to remind the listeners that you have Main Character Syndrome is unnecessary and quite frankly, really off-putting. To their credit, the hosts eventually stopped, but 100+ episodes of that was over the top in the first place. Which brings me to my second star deduction. When people give you constructive criticism, your best bet is to take what they’re saying into account and not be defensive. When your listeners all agree something is wrong on the pod, something is wrong. I forget the episode, but you two responded to constructive comments sooo rude and defensive, I forgot you guys were supposed to be in your 30’s. Your listeners are the reasons you even have a podcast, maybe care about their opinion a bit more. Finally I think the real issue this pod faced is that Krista ended up leaving. Which really isn’t anyones fault, but man does the show take a dive after Krista. She was the perfect equalizer to Erin and Jamie’s need to be the center of attention. Long live Kris the Doyle! So we arrive at 2 stars. Which feels so low for how much I love Friends and how excited I was to listen to this pod. Like many other reviews, I also dislike the 20ish minutes out of an hour they spend talking about the episodes. Again, this podcast isn’t about the hosts lives. It’s about Friends. Obviously chat about your life but when your life chat is longer than your Friends episode chat, it kinda makes the podcast not really worth listening to. To anyone thinking of listening to this pod in the future, I actually do recommend it! But I also love Friends enough to power through the bad parts of this podcast.

I was really excited when I found this podcast because I love Friends and I wanted to re-live it in podcast form as I also watched it again. The one girl, I think Krista, does nothing but go uhhhhhhh in a low gravelly voice right into the microphone all through every episode and it is so irritating. Personally I don’t mind when when podcasts hosts get off topic but at least don’t be disgusting about the characters that we all know and love. I just cannot listen anymore, especially if I hear that air horn one more time.

They barely even talk about the show. The hosts mostly talk about their own lives and Erin seems very self-obsessed. Somehow she makes everything about herself.

I think this podcast is actually over, but I’m still working my way through older episodes and am really enjoying it. I miss Krista, but Jamie and Erin are super funny and both knowledgeable about and enthusiastic about friends. Update 10/15/20: I was so excited to find out that they started all over after they finished all 236 episodes. Love Jamie and Erin and appreciate that they have managed to post new episodes in spite of the massive changes in their personal lives as well as that pesky pandemic. I just found this podcast, I’m only a handful of episodes in. I am so jealous! I’ve been saying that I want to do a podcast like this where I get to just talk any friends all the time, because I already do. I started watching it when I was in high school and it was on tbs after school. It was also on Nick at night, so I watched it in bed, and still do! I’ve seen them all i don’t even know how many times. It’s my favorite show! On average, i reference the show at least once a day, sometimes more! I’m constantly telling my husband/coworkers something is “like that episode of friends” It came out in 1994, I was born in 1995! lol it was on in real-time when my older sister was growing up! Super jealous of you guys living my dream! Lol

I just discovered this podcast during quarantine, and I’ll probably listen the whole way through because it’s mostly enjoyable and good background noise when working from home... but oooh boy, Erin. Every time anyone starts a story she changes it to a random story about herself... and says “like” every other word. Some episodes are so grating I have to skip ahead. Jamie seems delightful, but he keeps getting slammed by Erin if he expresses his own opinion.

Just bad compared to Gilmore Guys.

i love podcasts in general. i listen to them before i go to bed and a lot of the time fall asleep to them. i finished my podcast that i was listing to and was looking for a new one. i have lately been into podcast about books/tv shows that i love. i love when people go in depth about the show or book. i was super excited when i found this podcast and i really hoped that it would live up to my high expectations for it. i listened to the first episode and fell in love with it. thanks so much!

I really want to like this. I love Friends and this started out great. But I’m on the verge of deleting because I’m sooooo sick of “totes” instead of “totally”, “ushe” instead of “usually” and “supes” instead of “super”. I seriously prefer them over using sound effects which is also annoying.

this is by far my favorite podcast. the hosts are hilarious, and all the reviews saying that they’re being “mean” or “hating on Monica and ross”, those people clearly don’t have a good sense of humor. Jamie’s bits are my favorite, and erin’s dry humor is amazing. love this podcast so much! if you’re seeing this review, at least listen to the first episode and decide whether or not you like it, don’t get driven away by a few negative reviews.

It was entertaining at first, but it basically turned into them trashing everyone except Rachel. They keep insisting the whole show is truly about Rachel. They especially trash on Monica. It gets to be really annoying, especially as someone who just loves all the characters. I feel very irritated by Erin all the time too. She tries to be funny by being mean. I liked it at first so much, but afterwards they got cocky of their success and started being really critical of the show.

I love Friends so much. But every time you guys made me feel sooooooo unhappy and depressing!!! I really tried with my love for Friends. Just doesn’t work.

I’m a die hard Friends fan and I was just a tad disappointed in this podcast...the hosts just don’t seem to love the show and I was just hoping for more. After trying this one out, I searched for some other podcasts and I recently found a different podcast about Friends and I’m addicted. I thought I’d post about it here if people are looking for an alternative. If you want a good podcast about Friends, check out “Friends Talking Friends”!!!! Trust me.

I thought this would be a show where are they talk about the show, the actors, comment on the characters, and the funny situations they get into. But no, it’s about the podcasters, their lives and some references to the show. It’s mind-numbingly boring.

This is a super fun/funny podcast when they’re actually talking about friends. However, there are these super long chunks of time when they go off on unrelated tangents. It does get pretty annoying since it’s supposed to be a ‘friends’ podcast and not a ‘random tangent’ podcast. It still is really fun to listen to when they actually do talk about ‘friends’

Guys, this podcast is hilarious. Yes, they ramble on about random things not necessarily related to Friends, but that’s the beauty of the BoF podcast. I started a couple years ago and since then have gone back and listened to all their old episodes, twice! Erin and Jamie’s hilarious conversations make me laugh on the hour long commute to and from work all the time. The only downside is that they haven’t released episodes as frequently lately, I want, no I NEEED more BoF in my life!!

Had to unsubscribe. I loved Krista and Jamie and wished they would have done this podcast together. Erin is very annoying, rude and a know it all. Every episode I found myself rolling my eyes at her voice, her know it all opinions and condescending tone.

It’s good but bad. They really give you good things to listen too. A bad thing tho is they talk way too Much and are so BORING

I’ve tried to like this podcast, really I have. I listened from season one through Krista’s departure and much later into early season 2 of the Joey coverage even. Krista was great, but Erin is honestly really hard to take. She has a difficult habit of saying ‘like’ often, and she’s pretty uppity. Even though Jamie is lovely, neither Erin or Jamie ever exactly rushed to cover the topic they’re actually covering. You’ve really got to try to ‘enjoy the ride’ here as compared to other pcasts, so just know that going in.

When they first started the podcast I thought it was great. However, it’s painfully obvious that they don’t care about it anymore. As of now it’s been nearly 2 months since they have put up a new episode and they haven’t made any sort of statement about it in their social media. I feel bad for anyone that donated to their Patreon, because these people are not delivering. Of course no one is obligated to continue to produce a podcast they no longer like, but at least communicate that with your audience.

This podcast is just awful since Kris the Doyle left. Erin is just a mean person who says “duh” to everything anyone says. Jamie seems okay, but when Erin is on a rant about something utterly stupid, if he disagrees with her he barely says anything and then ends up agreeing. Also, why the hell do you have guests who have never watched Friends? I have gotten to the point where I skip half the episode to when they *finally* start talking about the episodes they are doing that week, and try to listen from there. If you like Friends, this is not the podcast to listen to. Someone needs to make a good Friends podcast.
