    An Opportunity Learn
Thanks for facilitating an opportunity to see a side of government we know little about; as well as to hear from the folks who try to keep us safe under enormous political pressures.

    First Time PodCaster — Hooked!
As a recently retired 30 year veteran State prosecutor, I always enjoy former US Atty Rosenberg on MSNBC, so this old dog learned the new PodCast trick with “The Oath”. It is outstanding, and I have recommended it to many, including my family who never really understood what I did for a living (except my oldest brother, who was a DOJ Anti-Trust prosecutor in D.C. in the 1974-87 era). It is great to hear these fine public servants from the “federal family” talk about their vital work, and devotion to the law and our Nation. In these times, it is good to know that while Democracy is fragile to assault from the lawlessness in the White House, it is resilient in the line prosecutors who stand for the Constitution. It gives one faith, and hope. Keep up the great work, and repeat performances like Director Comey are welcome!

I have missed your wonderful interviews. I just listened toMr Leitner. mr leitmotif and was dazzled once again .where did you go? Now that lve found you again I will hang on and take the opportunity to tell you that I particularly liked the one with the librarian of Congress (name escapes me) and the one with Fiona Hill. I learned so much from those in particular .thank you so much Tilli Friedrich

    Where are you Chuck Rosenberg
I have so missed your amazing interviews. You are a very skilled interviewer, extremely prepared and so gracious. I have really enjoyed meeting the wonderful people who serve our country through your lens. I have missed not seeing you as much on MSNBC also. I hope you are doing well and hope that you will soon return to your podcast. I learned so much about people who are in the limelight and some that are working diligently in the background. Just wanted you to know that I am one of many who enjoyed your great podcast!

    Really interesting and thoughtful
Intelligent interviews with people have taken that famous Oath to defend the US Constitution and its ideals—-and then been challenged, and had to make significant sacrifices in order to keep that oath. I took that oath in the military, almost 50 years ago. I was only in the service a few years, but that oath is still very significant to me. It has informed several choices in my younger years, and is on my mind often now. In fact, when I hear it, my impulse is always to stand. I don’t, lol, but I want to. I find this podcast uplifting because it leads us through the careers and lives of honorable folks who have faced much harder choices than I have, and who stood with what is right. Thank you very much for this podcast. I started because I wanted to hear that first episode, with Jim Comey, and now I’m hooked!
  • Please Post Another Season!
    The Oath w Chuck Rosenberg
This podcast is essential listening to understanding the unsung heroes who keep our government - and any government - running. The commitment of these individuals to their oath opened my eyes to a whole new class of hero. I hope you do another season! Miss your calm conversational tone during these tumultuous times!

    Love and thanks
I love this podcast so much. Chuck has assembled an extremely valuable collection - people who have given years, whole lives, to serving the public. Interesting, timely, relevant stories. Thank you so much to Chuck and all of the guests. Update: the most recent (season 3) interviews have been among the very best!

    Highly Recommend The Oath Podcasts
Every episode is very well orchestrated from the host, guests, discussion topics, questions and sharing of best practices. The host and guest experiences (professional and personal) shared on The Oath podcasts are not only incredible accomplishments from every angle, but also educational, and I have learned so much on the different public service roles discussed on each episode, more importantly, that transparency, humility, respect for others, teamwork, leadership, planning, accountability and trust (to name a few), are all keys to success regardless of where one may be in an organization’s hierarchical structure. So real world! Thank you very much for bringing your podcasts to us. Congratulations on a job so well done. Looking forward to your next season. Stay safe and well.

Thank you so much for adding new stories of true American Patriots
It would be great to interview Some of the people the brave people that came out of the shadows to testify over the Ukrainian and Russia situation. Now that Trump is no longer in office, I think it is important to hear Jennifer Williams, Lt Col Vindman,

May we have some more please! Best Podcast
I am neither an attorney nor a government employee nor have I ever had the privilege of taking “the oath”, but this show inspires such an amazing sense of patriotism. Mr. Rosenberg assembles his friends and those he admires and one feels as if you’ve got a front row seat to a conversation in his living room. Like the best book, you can’t seem to stop listening. His style is easy, and his interviews are well researched, respectful and so intelligent. I’m so sad it’s not been added to…still so relevant today. Bravo sir for celebrating those (both known and unknown) who commit to serving the greater good. We are better for it.

    Best Podcast
Sir, I have been catching up and found the Bob Mueller episodes the best; you rehabilitated him for me. Hearing him made me realize he's not a man of a lot of words, and I feel bad for doubting his ability during his Russia investigation and his testimony. I feel bad now for ever believing the flawed narrative given to Mr. Mueller by GOP. I have always believed in what he and his team found in the report; he did a remarkable investigation. I listened to it three times on Lawfare spin-off, and that's when I found Trump to be a traitor to America and made me very aware Trump would do anything to benefit himself and use illegal methods to meet his goals. It's too bad America doesn't go back and take Director Mueller's report and the insurrection news together to show a constant pattern by Trump to do whatever it takes, using the dark side to achieve his goal at that moment without forethought. Thank you again! It would be great to hear the Director’s thoughts on the last months of Trump's administration and Trump. You need to return for democracy in America. Your show demonstrates American bravery and American culture to serve; doing public service is one most significant honors you experience for our Country and our Country’s Democracy

    Come back!
I really miss this podcast. So smart and enlightening. Great listening. Chuck is a great interviewer snd good listener. He makes the podcast about the guest snd not himself. Only interjects with thoughtful questions. When will it return?

    Thoughtful and Uplifting Podcast
I don’t sleep well—in part because the news each day is so distressing that my mind won’t rest. It seems there are so many greedy, smart people trying to derail our country in a myriad of ways. When I listen to Chuck Rosenberg’s podcast, I hear smart, dedicated people who are devoting their lives to the values I cherish. It heartens me to know that these people, some known to me but many not, are out there serving the country and mentoring the next generation. Then I am able to sleep.

    Highly Recommend for Prosecutors
I wish this podcast had existed when I was a county prosecutor. It's not difficult or uncommon to become jaded or cynical at times, especially in busy workplaces with large caseloads. By discussing complex, often well-known cases in detail, this series reminds you how your choices affect not only the lives of everyone involved in a particular case or investigation, whether large or small, but also the larger mission of why and for whom you serve. I have learned something from each episode I have listened to that causes me to reflect on matters that I handled with a different perspective. This series offers valuable lessons based on the experiences of very accomplished individuals which would benefit anyone committed to public service.

    Stimulating conversations!
I love listening to chuck Rosenberg. He’s so careful in leading us to the truth. I’m so happy he’s now a podcaster! Keep up the good work. Wow.
This is an amazing show. The guests are the best of the best in their areas of public service, Chuck Rosenberg is an incredible interviewer, and the stories told are extraordinary. The takeaway, every time, is that we should all work hard and do the right thing. I’ve been binge-listening and I’m about to run out of episodes. I can’t wait for Season Five.

    My Favorite Podcast
I don’t think Chuck Rosenberg should be allowed vacations. I replay his interviews because they are so good. Each time I hear something I missed before. He brings out the best in everyone. Mostly, he just lets them talk. Now, when I see one of his guests on a television show I remember something I heard them say on Chuck’s podcast. It adds to my confidence in them and in Rosenberg’s ability to get people talking. If he did much interviewing on suspects in his time in the FBI, they must have incriminated themselves in no time and inadvertently helped solve the crimes. He is a hidden treasure and this podcast is fascinating every time. I am looking forward to the next season. But, seriously, does he have to take breaks? I could listen every week, all year long.

    Love This Podcast
Hello, I have been listening to this podcast from the first episode the day it launched. Your interviews are smart, and so educational. I was wondering when a new season may start for 2021??

    Mueller 1and 2
Bob Mueller is notoriously a man of few words. That you were able to elicit so many from him over the 2+ hours of these conversations is a remarkable achievement. Please tell me there will be a season 5. I can’t wait!

    Chuck Rosenberg
This is super interesting and so good. I would HIGHLY recommend. I listened to Preet and Jim Comey. Both were great! My favorite episode so far, is the second one with Jim Comey. The upward slope one. It has all the emotions! I cannot recommend enough! Frank Figliuzzi 👍💯

    Leon Panetta
Wow! Great job putting this series together with your crew. I love that the personalities I read in the news suddenly come alive because of this dialogue. Sooooo much more effective in a podcast format than an interview done for television with time constraints. Poignant questions, but also interviewees with obvious intelligence and abilities to orate with detail and accuracy. I’ve listened to three so far: Bob Mueller, Leon Panetta, and Fiona Hill. But, hats off to you as well. When I first listened to you on MSNBC with Ms. Maddow, I was struck by your own delivery, clarity, and attention to detail..... and absolutely NO excess filler. Certainly a delight in this age of opinionated “talking heads” who do a disservice to broadcasting. Thank you, Chuck!

    Lay it on the line.
Wow, what a powerful interview. The warts and accolades of a career. The humanity of dedicated professional. Utterly refreshing! Thank you and well done.

    Anne Milgram
This was an outstanding interview. By asking probing questions, Chuck created the space for Anne Milgram to weave the story of her interesting life and reveal her attributes of intelligence, thoughtfulness, pragmatism, and integrity. If I were 40 years younger, I’d be inspired to follow in her footsteps! Thank you, Chuck.

    A Top Ten Podcast
Rosenberg is one of the best podcasters I’ve found in 10 years of listening to 15 -25 hours a week. Right up there with Malcolm Gladwell, Stephen Dubner and I think better than Guy Roz. The guests he has are AMAZING and he is a skilled interviewer.

If You Want The Oath To Continue
spread the word about this outstanding podcast. It’s on the fence as to whether there will be another season. I’ll be immensely disappointed if there isn’t. With the plethora of podcasts out there, this is one of the best. Every guest is interesting; their stories are fascinating and I always come away feeling inspired. Chuck is the perfect host - asking real questions and sometimes adding his own insights. It would simply be wrong if this podcast ends up discontinued.
  • DebA-53
    Wonderful podcast!
I absolutely love this podcast and am anxiously awaiting the next season. I had no doubt that it would be great because Chuck’s segments on MSNBC are ones that I don’t miss if I know he’s going to be on. No bull, just straightforward, honest commentary!
