I recently found this podcast after seeing a clip of Laci on social media, and I am hooked! Out of the several episodes I’ve listened to so far there were only 2-3 that weren’t funny…not because of Laci (because she was doing her thing) but the guests on those episodes were not funny at all. Laci is naturally funny and quick witted when it comes to commentary and impromptu skits. This is now my favorite podcast.

The latest epi about the Wonka Convention and TanaCon was one of the best episodes you have done! Also, you should create a ConCON, a scam convention but real. It would be live shows, and how to stay safe during cons and scams!

i absolutely LOVE this podcast. that parasocial relationship has me thinking i have a new bff when i listen! AND ALSO this podcast literally just saved me from being scammed! i got a phone call from a number that appeared to be the right number but when they said “this call is on a recorded line” i heard laci in my head saying “why do they think if they say it’s on a recorded line that people won’t think it’s a scam” lol. they gave me a reference number too! well i called the bank directly and they had absolutely no record of anyone calling me and the confirmation number is even in the wrong format. so THANK YOU for entertaining me with this delightful podcast and also for helping inform all of us about what’s hot in fraud 🔥

Too much white verse black talk , just keeps the separation alive and victim mindset not good for our people. Is this a funny scam podcast show or a black movement thing? Also white, black, Asian and Latin all people get scammed and can also all be scammers so not sure why this has to have some race edge to it. humans are messed up across the world and also nice across the world, we are a mixed bag globally so stop with the generalization mindset it’s dated … black folk do this white folk do that… it’s about social economic status not about race. Just sayin.

But this chick is hilarious. I’m entranced and enthralled. Keep them coming!!!

im literally skipping through 30 minutes of the host and the guest talking about personal stuff and inside jokes that the listener is not in on to try to get to the point of the show, which is the scammer story - only for them to talk about it for one sentence and then deviate and talk about NOTHING for another twenty minutes. it feels like such a waste of time. Not only that but as a black femme myself, it feels like Laci is putting on this stupid minstrel act with her guests trying to 'black it up' for comedic effect when her real voice and real accent is nothing like that and she constantly switches it to a blaccent when she wants to be perceived as funny. like are you not embarrassed just shucking and jiving for your guests.. do u not think its bizarre?? It's like she saw Nicole on Girl Code and decided to take her persona and use it as a caricature. it's not authentic its just weird

Laci is a funny host who usually has good guests with good banter. I said in my last review she could be more focused but it take it back! Her style is fun and unique and I’m happy to hear her random side notes. It’s a little chaotic at first but it grows on you!

This pod was on my list for ages so I finally jumped in, listening to the episode about the guy who scammed Netflix. Wow, this was bad. Like: really bad. There’s no focus to the episode. The story never really gets told. And the hosts get basic facts wrong (no, porn is no longer made in San Fernando Valley, go read about it) What a waste of time.

I am a new listener as of a couple months (thank you Normal Gossip for the rec!) and the episode with Sam Richardson is the best I have heard so far! You two are so funny and have such a natural rapport/chemistry!

The live show in Chicago was an amazing, joyous, epic good time.

It takes the host almost 20 minutes to get to the actual topic. When she begins to address the topic she’s all over the place. It’s really hard to listen to. I have tried and tried. I wish she could get more focused while keeping the podcast fun. Unfortunately this is a no from me. Way too much banter and side talking

My mom took me out of karate so she could sell Amway. Scam Goddess is full of wild stories from the underhanded schemes your weird uncle pulls to some scams that shook thousands. Great show.

Your voice is too loud , your banter is off point and annoying. I had to turn off the show because you were bothering me

Keeps getting progressively more cruel though and has a displaced narrative per story covered. 3rd episode was a hard listen as the host and guest were just smug and cruel. I actually had to skip it half-way in. Eventually a very weird event repeats itself where a guest will call out the host "your voice changed again..." and the host sounds like a TOTALLY different person dropping her affected accent. Which makes me as a listener feel a little crazy! In the end I find the host very funny most of the time and each scam story is pretty fascinating when they actually get to th facts and stop left field side-talking. never mind. mixed around and ended up at the old Paula Poundstone episode. Paula talks about being physically attacked by a scammer...scum bag Laci says she's on the scammer's side. What a dumb horrible unfunny thing to say and anyone like that just strikes me as a waste of human skin.

Laci is like my favorite play cousin in my head. 😂 The jokes be spot on. I listen in the car, in the shower, and really anywhere chile! One of my favorite podcasts especially from a black woman. Highly highly recommend!!!!!

I used to listen all the time but now it’s getting annoying. Laci is all over the place and sometimes will try to talk about topics seriously but has the depth of someone who gets their news from reading only the titles of articles.

Came here after hearing you on I’ve Had It. Loved that appearance and maybe the Lularoe episode was not the one to start with but GIRL! You were all over the place. I tried to fight through the mindless banter but my God today. This episode was too erratic for me. I tried to stick in there because I’ve seen the documentary but I was having a hard time following you getting distracted. Wish you best of luck but I think you do too much for me to listen for a whole hour.

I found Laci’s podcast after she was on Ghosted with Roz Hernandez and I’m so glad I did. I love the stories and the humor!! The best!! 😊

Laci is hilarious! I love the format of the show, 3 scams in 1! The guests always add a lot too. I love that it’s more than just a comedy hour, I’m learning something interesting as well.

I came across Scam Goddess when I was looking for a long-form true crime No Murder podcast like Scamanda and Filthy Ritual, two shows I really got into. Scam Goddess is not that! But it is hilarious. My favorite episodes are the ones where Laci and her guests go off into ridiculously funny riffs on the topic they’re covering -or on totally random topics! I’ve enjoyed listening to older episodes, like the one with Miles Gray - a gem. One note: there are a couple of episodes where the guest just doesn’t seem to know how to play and the conversation falls flat. If you listen to one of those first, try another. If you’re fascinated by scams and are into improv comedy, Scam Goddess might be your next favorite.

I love this pod so much. I was sent here by someone on instagram and I’m addicted already. These women got the info and hilariocity. And I’m laughing at the negative reviews too, from the delicate talcum crowd.

It takes entirely too long for the host to get to the subject of each episode. They spend 30-40 mins talking about anything BUT the actual topic of the episode. Save all that for the end, get to the point!

I found out about Laci and her Podcast thru GHOSTED with Roz Hernandez, and I love it! Not to mention, Gurl gots some 🎶Pipes🎤on her!! Question tho: Try as I might I can NOT find the Hilaria Baldwin episode and this emptiness is killing me inside 😫! Can some one PLEASE tell me which expisode it is?? Thank You in advance - Jon 😊

I liked this host and podcast. However, there are too many racist comments about white peoples. That’s too bad because she’s funny.

Laci provides insightful info on historic entrepreneurs and the most up to date ways to earn extra income on the side.

I have ADHD and this is very difficult for me to follow.

I love so much about this podcast. Laci Mosley is legitimately funny and so incredibly intelligent. For the most part, I love her interactions with her guests. However, every single episode, she spends a lot of time talking over her guests. I understand there has to be some of that when Laci is riffing with her guests, but she literally cuts them off and then connects whatever they are talking about to herself and personal experiences. It’s still a great podcast, but I feel bad for some of her guests who may want to showcase their own intelligence and personality.
