Have been listening to this podcast for a while and really enjoyed it at the beginning, but the longer it goes, the more I feel like I’m listening to an infomercial and them promote their sponsors

My ministry has benefited greatly from these podcasts. The topics are quite helpful- many “real life” kind of scenarios…things I really face (or might face in the future). This is a great equipping resource. And as for personal preference, the length is perfect. I enjoy the bullet points kind out outline with a conversational tone. This makes this podcast very easy to listen to for me. I don’t miss very many episodes. Thanks guys!

I enjoy the topics & guests they have on the podcasts. They offer practical advice in today’s world. Too much time is spent on family jokes & teasing. It is distracting from the important topic on-hand. If the content was not as good as it is I would stop listening.

Good information. Appreciate, very much, the show notes ... but there is no need for a co-host (who thinks he’s funny, interrupts guests, thinks his views are the greatest and shares inside jokes with his dad - the host). Just present the information and let whoever you are interviewing speak! Thom should do this by himself.

One of the best most practical leadership podcasts out there. I find myself going back to episodes I’ve already listened to because the information Thom and his team provide is just that good.

I believe the podcast is great and I think Thom does an incredible job. Unfortunately it is not much different with everything else he does, it eventually leads back to a money making scheme for Thom. Great insight, great knowledge, even more information about how to help fund his next career move after LifeWay. In the intervention episode, the answer to every answer was oh $100 a month to help you and your church.....

After listening to a few I realized this was a great podcast for ministry leaders. I went back to the beginning of the podcast listening to them all over the past several months. Then to took notes for myself and passed on the appropriate ones to different pastors at our church. Great content in quick format.

My favorite and most helpful points was changing the way we do New Member Training using a short video with summary and then following up witha Q & A in the classroom. We are adding to that using a tour of the campus explaining how the church has grown spiritually as we have grown physically. I have been on staff here for 33 years (Senior Pastor since August 2016) so I have been blessed with insight to share with new and prospective members regarding vision - past, present & future. I listen to a lot of podcasts, and I have to pick around. But Rainer on Leadership is one of the few I listen to ALL the episodes. It gives me good things to think through as pastor of a church. I recommend it for any leader.

As somenone who is replanting a church, this podcast helps me understand and think through how to lead my church to make much of Jesus and connect that to the ministries that we are trying to do. This helps us understand the mindset of those outside the church, and the mindset of our older members who are so sure about change. When another church leader asks me what podcasts they should be listening to, this is at the top of my list.

There is such a wealth of knowledge on this podcast. I love listening to Dr. Rainer and Jonathan and the banter between them. They always bring on great guest like Daniel Im to discuss strategies, systems, and “rezources” :). This is a podcast that I look foward to listening to each week. The content is always great and very often makes me think a bit more about my responsiblilities as a pastor and leading our congregation and volunteers. I especially enjoyed listening to episode #370 regarding discipleship with Daniel Im and the 5 shifts in ministry.

Back in the pastorate after 17 years in secular work, and now the world has really changed. This podcast is helping to define a new leadership reality in the church. The topics are relevant, the guests have been true experts. I appreciate that the presenters have extensive history as church planters and now replanters. They are real, honest and candid. You must listen to this podcast to stay up to date on how to really connect with active leadership in a changing world.

Enjoy the broad spectrum of leadership insights here. Helpful for a lot of practical ministry topics, especially in things they teach in seminary (ie budgets, training volunteers, worship leading, etc). Detailed show notes always helpful also to go back to.

Been listening for over a year now. Great content, good banter, and always focussed on bulding the Kingdom. They sometimes give away books from their guests... hint, hint.

The discussions and tools given for church leaders are timely. Just what I need right when I need it. I appreciate the brevity of the podcasts. There are times the hosts get sidetracked with unrelated conversations creating a distraction, but still worth my time to listen.

Great interview with Daniel Im, No Silver Bullet. I learned that my way of thinking needs tweeking. I will get the book and fill in my notes. Great ideas and thoughts. Thanks guys for providing useful helps to our church.

Love this podcast. After listening to a few episodes a few months ago, I went back and started at the beginning. I have now listened to the first 200 episodes, and working on catching up. So incredibly helpful, insightful and inspiring. Great way to learn about leadership and the inside scoop on the inner workings of church.

I recently was voted in as the new senior pastor of a small to midsize traditional church. I have been furiously listening to this podcast as I am doing repairs on my home before I sell it. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to Dr. Rainer and The Voice. I've learned so much and look forward to the next episode all the time.

Thom does a wonderful job challenging, warning, and encouraging church leaders and members. This podcast has been a blessing to me over the past year, having gone through a very trying time in the ministry I eventually had to leave.

The conversational format is very refreshing. It is a nice break from the strict interview approach many podcasts use. Drawing on practical experience with a biblical foundation is very useful.
