ST-1of5Love this podcast and its positive vibesWhat a wonderful way to engage so many talented people. The podcast is inclusive of all topics Star Trek, and individuals of different backgrounds, scientists and non-scientists alike. Listening to it conjures up images of a fertile garden (Star Trek) with thriving plants (host and invited guests) sharing their beautiful colors (thoughts) and reciprocating one another with their delicious fruits (stories). Look forward to many more episodes. 🖖

JuliaV927So cool!If you have ever enjoyed any episode of a Star Trek series, you will love this podcast. It's nerdy and entertaining and educational all at the same time. Mike talks about real science in a completely accessible way while also geeking out about the coolest parts of science fiction and Star Trek and why we all love it. The interviews are great too! Definitely give this a try - you will be hooked!

ToreadorisThe El-Aurian science listenerI have listened to more Star Trek podcast episodes than there are Star Trek episodes. This podcast is one of the most positive and definitely the most informative of them all. I managed to catch up with all the episodes (78 + bonus episode) in just over a month, it's that much fun to listen to. Also in every episode you learn something new and interesting about the universe, from the smallest atoms to cells to complex lifeforms to planets, stars and black holes (and Star Trek of course)! Mike is a great listener and his summaries and thought out questions about the subject being discussed has convinced me he's an El-Aurian living on Earth to try to help with educating and enlightening the human race. Greetings from Iceland! LLAP

sonicjro5The Perfect CombinationThis is one of my favorite podcasts! I’m a huge Star Trek fan and I love the discussion of Trek episodes, movies, news, and the latest trailers. There’s also tons of real science discussed and I learn so much with every single episode. The hosts and guests are experts in their fields, but they describe the science in Star Trek and related to Trek in a way that scientists and non-scientists alike can easily understand and they have fun with the discussions, too. This is the perfect combination of two of my favorite things, Star Trek and Science - highly recommended!

crecerelle17Fun, nerdy, informativeThis show is a real pleasure to listen to and is one of the podcasts I'm always in the mood for - just the right balance of insightful discussion of themes and plot points in the greater Star Trek universe (all shows/movies included), and great substantive mini science-talks. The science discussions are definitely meaty but the conversational format and plain language from the hosts (who are science researchers/students) keeps them very accessible to a lay listener like myself. I also love that they talk about a wide variety of science topics - sometimes they dig into core principles from Star Trek, and other times they will just focus on a topic inspired by a particular special effect in a particular scene. Def recommend.
