I love this show so much. The music is killer, the characters are so wonderful, and all of the big climactic moments hit so perfectly. It’s an incredible story

More people need to hear this
Most underrated podcast I've ever listened to. Like I genuinely feel bad for whoever doesn't know that this podcast exists. I love this so much. Like everything about it, I don't even have any criticisms. Thanks for working so hard to bring amazing content like this and put it out into the world.

    A (not so serious) story
Have been binge listening to this ever since I heard about The Ninth World through another story telling podcast. Love the cast and how they are able to keep a story moving. There are a few times where jokes kinda derail them for a min or so but it has great pacing. Also love how the story doesn’t take itself super serious. I really needed some levity during covid-19 in WA state, thank you.

    Definitely worth a listen!
A good storyline, fun characters, and some very good editing. This is my first foray into podcasts and I was not very interested; however, this team hooked me and I listened to all episodes in a matter of one month. Good job to GM Kyle and the four adventurers!

fun & good-hearted real play podcast
This is an enjoyable podcast with diverse players and characters. Everyone does seem like friends which gives the show a good-hearted chemistry. There is a good amount of world building as well. I recommend this podcast!

    Wonderful Show
The production and care put into this show is amazing. The music is great, and the mix is wonderful. I don't usually like music during dialog in AP podcasts, but this one does it perfectly. The world is very well realized and the characters are wonderful and very endear. All around a great show!

    Not to be dramatic but
I would die for each one of these extremely lovable and absolutely dumb characters Xoc is a close Favorite, but Ben Wyatt (Hopper), Ellie the morally ambiguous grandma Wolverine, and MISHA the nonbinary robot kazoo player owns my whole heart and you would be a fool to miss out on this

    Entertaining and Engaging
Quest Friends is a very entertaining podcast with a very animated and engaging GM as well as a fun cast of characters. While you can tell that they are recording on microphones of varying quality, it does not detract from the listening experience. Definitely enjoyed myself listening to this group!

The audio so far is ok. Some key typing in the background can be a little distracting besides that it is great its like adventurezone jr got some good laughs and the french girl is great and stays true to her character amazingly! Gonna continue working through the archive.

    Perfect
I was originally brought here through a shout out on TAZ, and binged the entire library of episodes in a couple days. I immediately loved the world Decker set up, and each character is so naturally unique and lovable (in their own messed up ways) that I couldn't help but play these episodes back to back. Combat takes a comfortable back seat to roleplaying and character building, and it pays off in a big way. The cast immediately leans into their roles and the interactions between the characters, and it makes even the normally awkward (ie whenever 'the team' first meets in anything ever) encounters so incredibly endearing. I've never played Numenera, but I've always been a big fan of the Wild Arms series of rpgs, and immediately fell in love with the setting of this story and how the characters fit into the bizarre mix of western and sci-fi. The editing is great, the goofs come naturally, and the oddly sincere emotional moments sneak up on you like a sucker-punch in the feels. If you're a fan of sociopath androids, emotionally unstable mages with abandonment issues, heroic history buffs who seem altogether too normal for the team, and bionic old women who use pro-wrestling fighting techniques, drop whatever you're doing and listen to this podcast immediately. It's as crazy, awesome, and entertaining as it sounds. But seriously Decker, start a Kickstarter or something so we can all help keep this good thing going.

    IT'S GOOD
I love numenera and had a hard time finding a podcast that plays it, but luckily these quest friends do! I love these goofs. I was brought here by the TAZ ad, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Quest Friends!

    Good people!
They're all great! Even though one of them tried to bludgeon me to death once in high school.

    Awesome!
This podcasts is a fantastic example of what a ttrpg should be. Great group dynamic, a diverse group of players, a solid backbone of a story, and plenty of fun. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in actual play podcasts!

    this podcast changed my life
quest friends is great fun - the characters are deeply loveable, the world is vibrant, and the plot is intriguing, full of twists and turns that never feel contrived, but what made me really fall in love was how much it made me laugh. the tone switches smoothly from dark and intriguing to unabashedly stupid and silly. further, the numenera system is particulary well-suited to spectating - the rules of combat are fairly simple and require much less math than, say, dnd, which keeps the pace lively. i've thorougly enjoyed every second of quest friends and am eagerly awaiting more. i cannot recommend this podcast highly enough.

    I am loving it!
I haven't listened to the whole podcast yet, but just the first few episodes have such a fresh dynamic to roleplay podcasts lately. Perfect balance between fun and serious, and the relationships out of character seem earnest enough to influence those in character. Reminds me of the adventure zone. Good job and keep up the good job! Will definitely recommend.
