I just discovered this Podcast and it’s my favorite of all my Midsomer related Podcasts. I enjoy reliving each podcast as they talk about them. (I’ve only watched the episodes which we can get for free in the USA -but I’ve seen each one at least 5 times over again since discovering Midsomer Murders) I especially love the host’s sense of humor and all the laughing they do, I can’t help laughing along. Thank you for the many smiles & chuckles!

Amazing podcast! I stumbled upon it after starting Midsomer Murders, and let me tell you, I think I might be more hooked on the podcast! It's so much fun to listen to, and the hosts really dive deep into all the juicy details. I find myself engrossed in each episode. :-D

Sarah & Mark have honed their mystery-loving craft by at first reviewing Midsomer Murders, but now expanding to all things British Cozy. The episodes are well laid out with many recurring beats to keep listeners coming back week after week. Until they both appear as extras on an actual episode of MM, make mine Mystery Maniacs!

The audio quality is good. They don’t swear. Haven’t heard any political stuff. As someone that almost exclusively watches Acorn and BritBox I like this. I would like to see them do more Marple, Poirot, Brokenwood. Maybe Death in Paradise.

I’ve watched Midsomer murders obsessively and multiple times. Because of this podcast I’m now watching each episode AGAIN and then listening to the podcast right after it’s so fun!!!!

The hosts don’t just recap but also add relevant research and information to add to the enjoyment of each episode. I’m glad they decided to keep on going after the Midsomer well ran dry.

My friend told me about this podcast, which I love! I have not yet finished listening to all of the episodes about Midsomer Murders, but I can’t wait to hear what insights and funny quips Sarah and Mark will have regarding Poirot, Father Brown and others.

Like many listeners, I discovered this podcast only to wonder where had it been all my life?! I love Midsomer Murders, they love it just as much, probably more, than I do, they discover and impart so many interesting details about the show and the behind the scenes stuff, it makes you fall in love with the show all over again.

I saw someone recommend this podcast on Instagram and and can’t believe I didn't find it sooner! I’m starting over with episode 1 and arching the corresponding episode first. It is great fun and has me re-watching Midsomer and enjoying the episodes all over again!

Mark and Sarah have fantastic chemistry and really dig deep into midsomer murders while also keeping the show super accessible. Absolutely love the show please don’t ever stop!

What a great podcast! Well produced and so very, very clever. Mark and Sarah devote much time and research to recapping the fabulous Midsomer series. They delve into the aspects of each episode as you would do if you could (right?). I now have a new pandemic hobby: re-watching all the Midsomers along with their commentary. (Someone has to!) Not what expected. Not good, the guy pushes his voice and it’s weird - voice pushing and they are not funny. Just annoying and sad. This is one of my all time favorite shows - these 2 don’t do it justice and they really stink at this. Goodbye

I came across this podcast while browsing for a new podcast to listen to and I am so happy I did. The first episode I listened to was a mini episode on Happy Families and I could not stop laughing (in a good way). I love that they talk about Winter and his lack of wardrobe choices. 😂😂 I will absolutely listen to more!

Because that’s when MM has its new weekly episode! I love listening to all the details, and re-watching the shows, looking out for comments Sarah or Mark made during their podcast. They are hilarious, and it’s clear they love making this podcast together. They each seem genuinely interested and impressed with the other. So refreshing and fun to listen to. An instant de-stressor.

The podcast is much more than a recap. You can learn how frescoes are created and about cheese maggots. Always an education.

I love this podcast so much that if they don’t pick a new series when midsomer is over I will start from episode 1 again. I hate that I have to wait a week for a new episode. Such fun and great insight.

I have seen every Midsomer episode. Recently, I just watched "The Killings at Badger's Drift" and thought, "Wow! That was really great! I wonder if there is a Midsomer podcast?" That's when I found this incredible podcast. Now, I am rewatching all the episodes and then listening to the show. I will catch up eventually but I am only on episode 6! I feel so seen that there are others who enjoy the show as much as I do! I don't really watch a whole lot of shows as I prefer podcasts since I can listen while doing other stuff. I enjoy recap podcasts and don't watch the shows but I really want to follow along to this one. It's very well researched with so many interesting tidbits. The actress who plays Melissa is Judy Punch. She's English and closr to 40 if not over. She played Mrs Squirll in Bad Teacher with Cameron Diaz. She is great in that. She also is the receptionist in Doc Martin. I don't know how old she was during Tainted Fruit but not 22. I enjoy your podcast very much. Also wondering where Barnaby and Jones get their suits. Jones looks like Marc Jacobs. Fits like a glove. Probably an English designer though?

At the end of every episode I say, “That’s it?” I want more! I could listen to you both for hours. I discovered Midsomer Murders during the pandemic and am way late to the party, but I’m glad to have so many great episodes to catch up on. Keep ‘em coming!

Midsomer Murders has been my go to quarantine show. With 20 years worth of shows, I can binge watch but won’t run out of shows to watch any time soon. My husband discovered this podcast and has me hooked. It’s fun and informative, and most importantly, adds to the quarantine escape-ism MM provides.

This podcast is a lot of fun. I started watching Midsomer Murders a few months ago and became obsessed. Eventually I wanted to find other people who were into it and this was the only podcast that showed up. It is also the perfect podcast for this show. The hosts clearly have so much fun recapping and expanding on each episode. Their research is weirdly in-depth and fantastic. I'm totally enjoying watching episodes then listening to Mark and Sarah talk about them.

Really geeking out to this. Even if you’re not over hump of switching Barnabys, you will love. Listen with a cuppa and a bunny cake ;)

I was in love with this show from the beginning. In one episode, Mark scrupulously researches the rules to British Scrabble, then calculates the points accrued by a character in order to show how inaccurate her claim is. He even reads the name on a credit card used at a restaurant, tracks down the actual restaurant, and then researches to reveal the member of the crew whose card was used in the take. Sarah unearths and celebrates even the most obscure facts about the actors in each show, drawing links between actors who appear in multiple episodes of Midsomer or other films and television. The depth of their collective knowledge is astounding but never boring, and makes for upbeat and laugh-worthy analyses of even the driest episodes. I’m glad to see someone else is as annoyed by Cully’s feckless career maneuvers as I am.

Fellow Maniacs, you will enjoy this charming in-depth review. They go through each episode : tell the story, discuss the highs and lows of the production, and point out details you may have missed. Humorous but not snarky!

They also point out some of the flubs, plot holes, and clear some of the red herrings. A super fun way to enjoy each Midsomer episode over again.
