    Great explanations, great topic coverage
šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ New nurse in the CVICU here. I have found many of your episodes very helpful with a solid knowledge base for those who are starting out like me. Thank you for the time and energy you put forth to teach us about the knowledge you’ve gained in your years of practice! I will continue to listen and grow as I listen to your podcasts!

    My absolute favorite nursing podcast!
As a current nursing student, this is my absolute favorite nursing podcast!! I listen on my commute. Sean is so smart and so knowledgeable, yet he presents information in a way that even someone just starting out can understand. I find myself re-listening to episodes and I get more out of them each time. Thank you, Sean! So glad someone told me about your podcast!!!

    Love the show
Love every single episode that has been published so far. I understand that you have a busy life, but would like more episodes published at an increased frequency… perhaps on a biweekly basis instead of on a monthly basis? Can’t get enough of these high yield contents. Keep up the great work.

    Favorite podcast right now
As a newer ICU RN, this has been so informational and interesting to listen to. I love the various topics within different ICU settings, critical care tips, device info, med reviews, etc. The length of them is perfect IMO too. Thank you sooo much for these! Keep them coming

    So informative
I am a new graduate applying for ICU jobs and this is so helpful! I had my practicum in ICU and so many topics were clarified. Looking forward to more ā€œnew grad to ICUā€ topics! Maybe CRRT or ECMO management! You’re the best. Love you! I learn so much

Fantastic for experienced and new nurses alike!
I’m an ICU nurse of almost 2 years but have been a nurse for over 6 years (ED prior to ICU). This podcast is so informative and is helping me study for the CCRN! Thank you!

    Med errors and IV fluids
Med error podcast: re: ā€œreconciliation.ā€ Sean discussed reconciliation as though it’s related to reconstitution, which it is not. Reconciliation describes looking at the meds the patient is taking at home and/or reviewing meds when at patient is transferred to another unit or is being discharged. IV fluids podcast: Content was more appropriate for a medical audience as the focus was on selecting the fluid, which is not a nursing function. (Would be something a nurse practitioner would be able to do.) He should have focused on the nursing actions related to IVF-calculating fluid requirements to know that the infusion rate is correct and monitoring the insertion site.

    Fellow CVICU nurse
I have been searching for a podcast from a fellow CVICU nurse for a while. As a newer nurse, I’m constantly seeking to learn and sometimes hearing things stated in a different manner is helpful. Keep it up Sean!

A Great Resource for New ICU Nurses
I’m starting as a new grad in the ICU next month, and this podcast has made that prospect a bit less scary! I really appreciate the wisdom and advice they offer. Wish there was a 101 series within this podcast on need-to-know stuff for new grads going into ICU!

This podcasts gives some amazing explanations to bridge knowledge gaps and also helps boost confidence to the skills and understanding of intermediate nurses. Helped tons as a new CV nurse
As an ER nurse turned CV I struggled with the avalanche of information that was dumped on me during the transition. I was expected to learn from online modules and heavy texts. When I searched for CV related podcasts I came up short- until I found this one. I’ve listened to these episodes several times over and not only have I expanded my knowledge on these concepts but my confidence and patient care has greatly improved as well. I look forward to gaining even more understanding and knowledge with the future episodes.
