    Healing
Listening to this podcast was an important part of my own journey to freebirth and wild pregnancy. Being able to witness others’ positive journeys was exactly what I needed. Thank you for also having me on to then share my own positive birth story in the hopes that I can also positively impact someone else.

    Encouraging and Honest
A wonderful podcast with a wide range of stories that encourage women with all different types of backgrounds and experiences. If it wasn’t for podcasts like this, it would have been tough to have the courage to have a beautiful and peaceful birth at home. So grateful for Diana and all the women who share their stories!

Love the perspective and range of stories. Diana is great at interviewing, asking relevant questions and clarifying things that would be helpful for the listener. This is how we change things for the better, through women choosing differently, often stepping outside the system, and sharing their stories of beautiful healing birth.

    Truly healing
This podcast is excellent, and I would recommend to all women interested in birth to listen to the stories shared on it, as well as to perinatal mental health specialists. These stories are real, vulnerable, non-censored, and hold so much wisdom and raw truth. Diana is a wonderful host as well.

    Amazing tool to heal
Finding and listening to this podcast has literally been a lifesaver for me. After experiencing my own birth trauma for my first child, I was full on in the throws of PTSD, probably some PPD, and have gerneralized anxiety, and I can truly say my postpartum was one of the darkest times of my life. After finding this podcast, and listening to others who have navigated the complex journey of healing, it gave me hope, that one day I could heal and learn to cope with my trauma. It also helped provide me info with what to consider for any future children. It helped me feel less alone, less isolated, and more inspired and hopeful for my own future. Keep up the great work!

    Heart speak
This is truth is it’s glorious wisdom. Thank you! I have lived this in the reverse. Having unhindered home births, then being naively thrown into the system. Lost, voiceless, disassociated and detached, I was in the end cut open and separated. The healing path is real, raw and beautiful. My eyes are so open to the agenda of the system to disconnect from our babies and our power. Thank you for speaking so eloquently, what I have felt for the past 3 years as I have tried to navigate the trauma. So much compassion for us all walking with this un sacred initiation to live. I am great full I have seen both sides. I never knew how evil it was until I naively walked into the lie. Thank you mama! Bless you mama! May we rise and reclaim birth!

    Beautiful and Inspiring!
These are beautiful and inspiring stories, not designed to make us fearful of birth, but to empower us to see our birth trauma for what it is, and overcome it if possible.

    I’m Not Alone
Anyone who’s voiced their birth trauma, has likely heard, “just be thankful you have a healthy baby” or some similarly dismissive comment. 2.5 years ago, I went through a traumatic cesarean with my son. And I couldn’t work through it, because I’ve been guilt tripped for having the feelings I did ON TOP OF unprocessed trauma. I found this podcast a few weeks ago, when I decided I needed to be very intentional with working through this trauma as I prepare for my HBAC. This podcast is so validating and so full of empowering facts, that you can feel this strong feminine energy THROUGH your earbuds. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for speaking on this “taboo” topic and letting women know that how they feel is ok, and how we can work through those feelings 🙏🏻

    Love it
Such a beautiful and inspiring podcast. Diana has so much heart, integrity and power - it is clear this is the work she was meant to do. There truly doesn’t seem to be content on this perspective of the traumatic impact of “normal” birth in the system, and it’s so appreciated that it’s talked about. I don’t have birth trauma but sadly most women I know do, and I’ll continue to refer them here.

    Fantastic podcast!
Great listen for encouragement! Highly recommend! Each one really gets to the heart and soul of different birth struggles and yet is so uplifting and empowering.

    Thank you!
This is a great listen. I love the most crescent episode that explores midwifery and Doulas. I had Med-wives for my first home birth. It wasn’t awful but it was traumatizing. From 36 weeks to birth at 41+5 talk of transferring care was present in each interaction. Second time around I interviewed many traditional birth attendants, asked all the hard questions, and found a wonderful woman who supported me in a true physiological birth and hands off pregnancy. ASK THE QUESTIONS LADIES!

This podcast is so great, and desperately needed. There’s really no one more perfect to be leading the topics of birth trauma and healing than Diana, the host. I've been following her work for years and this is so exciting!I have loved what I’ve heard so far and can’t wait to hear the rest.

    Intimate, Inspiring, & REAL TALK
Rich in honesty, vulnerability and radical strength, i have no doubt that this story will resonate with MANY mothers who have birthed within the modern maternity system. This will be an amazing listen for anyone who is interested in hearing how women feel about their births and how women have moved forward after traumatic birth experiences.

    Love love love!
No skating over trauma or reframing abuse here! Diana and Lynnae set a beautifully powerful example of self-responsibility and NAMING things. I am so grateful to know this space exists for women like me who are not content to remain victims. I will avidly look forward to every single episode.

Calm and collected about real issues
Diana does a stellar job remaining calm and collected while addressing birth trauma women have and do continue to face. She offers a clear perspective, and compassion for those who have suffered such abuse in the broken birth system.
