I really love how the podcast has helped me learn about new topics. Been listening to this podcast since it was MLC!

    Like Chatting With A Friend
I’ve seen a few of Shelby’s YT videos but haven’t been much of a pod listener the past couple of years. I’m trying to treat myself to pods while cleaning and driving more, and this one popped up for me. Shelby has such a relatable style, and a really no-nonsense way of moving through the world. Listening to her is really a treat. I just finished the first ep and thought it was so helpful and practical. I’m a bit of a productivity addict, but have been feeling overwhelmed the past year. This first ep was great. Like hanging out with a friend who just makes you better by being around them. Thanks for your work here, Shelby!

    Uneducated and boring
Shelby doesn’t have interesting insight to offer and whenever she talks about topics other than YouTube you can tell she has very little knowledge about the topics. All while having an overly inflated ego thanks to her getting lucky on YouTube as a young teen. This on top of her boring alien-like personality makes for a dull and bothersome podcast listen.

    What’s the point?
Technology is amazing because it allows anyone to have a podcast, even if they have nothing of interest to say. If you want to listen to rambling about nothing from someone who has little expertise in anything, this is the podcast for you.

Shelby is relatable, inspiring and fun!
So glad she is starting this podcast. Shelby is a positive light in my day, whether it be YouTube, instagram, or now this! Wishing Shelby all the best

    Give it a listen !
My favorite podcast! It always picks me up and helps me be more productive. Monica and Shelby are so transparent and though it might seem like everyone has a podcast these days, theirs truly stands out with meaningful advice and I really hope they do it for a long time.

Great podcast! Love how it’s more like a conversation!

    So honest and helpful!

10 minutes in and we are still talking about jaw surgery
    Stick to the topic.

    Out of touch but entertaining
This is like a millennial version of a ‘Real Housewives’ podcast. Two attractive, blonde girls who are the definition of privileged and rich. Its entertaining the same way the RH series’ are - escapism. Hearing Shelby discuss that she no longer ‘bothers’ with cleaning is disheartening but I can’t stop listening. Monicas’ drabble about making ‘only’ $3000 for three videos is peak comedy (espescially when so many of us are unemployed) If I made as much money sitting on my ass, you bet I’d be hiring a cleaning lady. Keep on, girls. I can’t wait to hear what happens to your luxury cars

    Enjoying this podcast!
I love these ladies. I discovered Shelby and Monica about a year ago. I enjoy both of their YouTube channels and now this podcast. I really appreciate their vulnerability and realness- being honest about things we all experience. I’m in my mid thirties but I still relate and appreciate all of their content. I love how they have learned that they can be their true selves to be successful. We need more of that!

Monica sounds arrogant in the latest career epiode
I normally love this podcast but in the latest episode where monica talks about how she doesnt get anything in return from coffee chats just comes off as really arrogant. How is it possible that there is absolutely nothing you can learn from someone else, as if you already know everything. I’ve unsubscribed from the podcast.
  • Dudiez
I’m a dude and I find this podcast to be awesome
Shelby and Monica are just super chill and genuine (personality traits that seem very scarce in 2020) so it’s refreshing to listen real people talk about real problems with real people. They even open up new and interesting perspectives on how to establish different types of careers by taking to all types of millennials. It makes me feel a little less alone in my struggles (myself being a millennial having life crises of his own lol). Keep up the good work guys. Been a fan for over two years 🤙🏼

    Love this!!!
I’ve been watching Monica’s vlogs since she moved back to Seattle and I love that this podcast feels like an extension of her vlogs. The episodes are super relatable and easy to follow. The show is good so far and I can’t wait to see where it goes!

    Totally relatable millennial crisis
I’ve been following both Shelby and Monica for a while on Youtube and their videos are brilliant. Their podcasts turned out to be great as well. I like how they’re so honest about difficult topics that 20 somethings go through and be totally transparent about them. I think we all can relate to their story a lot. A couple episodes were about relationship and cheating. I totally relate to everything Monica said and it was so nice to hear from someone else who went through a similar ordeal as mine. That topic is not really talked about and so I appreciate that Monica is opening up and telling her story in hopes of helping others who are or will be going through something like that (actually cheating in relationships is so common but no one really seems to talk about it). Looking forward to hearing more episodes from you two 💕❤️

    Everything they do is 🔥
Love these girls: YouTube, Instagram, etc, they’re good at it all! Both so down to earth, smart, and highly insightful! They feel like friends :)

    Check your privilege plz
Hey ily guys. But Please be mindful that y’all are privileged with ur job and wher u are at right now. use your platform for BLM as well! A movement, not a moment! 💜💜💜

    Not getting a job
I normally really love this podcast but this recent episode on not getting a job was not the best. I think Shelby needs to get more comfortable stopping the interviewee from babbling on for a long time and staying on subject. The topic seemed like it would be really interesting but I feel like the guest wasn’t explaining her situation well. Also hope that they would get the audio perfected sometime soon!
  • 123plz
    Love them!
Love the topics they cover and how honest they are!! Can’t wait to watch this podcast grow!!

    Exactly what I needed!
I’m 23 and about to graduate college in December 2020 and have no idea what to do with my life! I don’t know where I want to work, live, and there’s a lot of relationship confusion thrown in. It’s so good to know that that’s normal and I’m not the only one and that there’s probably a light at the end of the tunnel!
  • KellieW22
    Twins supporting twins
Hi I’ve never left a review before but I stan Monica and Shelby on every platform...love them. I too am a twin so I love listening to them talk because it remind me of my twin sister and I (we are 24 and have the same vibe as Monica and Shelby) 😂 I think it’s so great that they are able to work together like this! Also I really related when you guys talked about having questioned your careers/where to live bc that’s me every day of my life! Very relatable to me at least (and Monica’s heartbreak episode really hit me in the feels). Keep up the great work guys! 💓
  • yourdailykailie
    long time supporter!
i have followed both monica and shelby for years on their youtube channels and they continuously produce outstanding content on every platform! i'm super excited for this new space and can't wait to see what these two millennials chat about on the podcast. also i think it's really funny people are saying they can't tell their voices apart because it's so obvious who is speaking, to me hahah. anyways, super excited about this!!!
  • GermanCleo88
    Fake
The true Millenial Life Crisis is the inability of these podcasters to relate to real-world Millenials. Neither has worked a job a day in their lives... They lack much real relationship experience... This podcast is a larger sell-out than Monica's only making videos driven by ads and sponsporships.

    Couldn’t recognize the voice...
Is it just me, cuz I could not differentiate Shelby and Monica. I’ve been watching both of their vlogs, but I really couldn’t recognize them by voices...
  • Runa Focus
I liked all of them both BUT...
I really enjoy both Monica and Shelby. I mean I LOVE THEM. They are amazing so is their advice. Their vibes... *chiefs kiss* I do hope they bring people on the podcast that mesh with their personalities because the audience LOVES THEM. I didn’t like Sara I’m going to be honest she had the “ I’m not like the other girls vibe” 🤢. Please for the love of God it’s not 2014 anymore. The segment about how “Other girls are claiming to be victims & her mom was cool and let her hang with the boys.” Screamed I’m not like the other girl. For reference ..I am saying this as a Texan ,a Tom boy who grew up with all boys, a sharp shooter who can take down a squirrel and is now in a male dominated field myself.. Sara ..That agenda is so tired. We are not in high school anymore. Shelby and Monica are always refreshing though. BUT That episode was exhausting.

    I want more!
I’ve been watching both Shelby and Monica on YouTube for years. This podcast is EVERYTHING. I’m excited to hear more. Even as a 28 year old, they’re inspiring!

    Grocery outlet
I was really excited that you both decided to make a podcast and have enjoyed listening! When listening to this weeks episode the comment that Monica made about Grocery outlet made me sad and I found to be honestly offensive. It’s important to be sensitive to the situations that many people are going through right now in terms of income and job loss. Anyone can go to that grocery store and I personally know people that like that store and make a six figure salary. It’s important to be mindful about not spreading stereotypes on your platform and also checking your privilege before you make these types of comments.

    Talking Over Each Other
In regards to the episode Dropping Out of College to Pursue YouTube, I think Monica and Shelby kept talking over Sara, and wouldn’t let her finish her thought. Hope all interviews don’t end up like this one 😕
  • je$sbo$s
awesome, difficult to figure out who’s who though
I LOVE this podcast. Obviously not you guys’ fault but it gets hard to figure out who’s talking since you both have suuuuuper similar voices. I think Shelby has a lispy-er voice, so that can kinda help. But maybe formatting the discussion so it’s more obvious could help more? Love you guys!! Keep doing awesome work.

i’m super excited to listen to this podcast! i have been watching Monica and Shelby for a couple of years now and love to see them work together like this on a podcast! they both have inspired me to consider photography as a career as well as apply to colleges in Washington. Love it
I’m definitely not a millennial but I love listening to these two sisters share their experiences. Even though I’m 20 years older than them, I can still relate to their struggles and joys from their life experiences. I’ve been following them on YouTube for awhile now so this podcast seems like an added bonus!
  • MessySassyClassy
    Honest, Raw, Uplifting, and Fun
I love watching these girls videos and having an additional way to be apart of their lives is so much fun. They don’t shy away from being honest or raw of their “millennial life crisis”. They find a comforting way to be uplifting and fun!

    Love it!!!
I’ve been watching Monica for about a year now and just a few months ago found out she had a twin sister, Shelby! I LOVE their videos and I am loving the podcast! This is actually the first podcast I have gotten into fully!! Love from TN, but I love Seattle, WA more ❤️

Their circumstances might not be relatable but their emotions are
Shelby and Monica grew up differently than the vast amount of listeners did (I assume) being YouTube stars in their teens. However, the emotions they speak about in their podcast are still super relatable and have value for any struggling 20 to 30-something.
  • atsirhC
    Loving the episodes!
I love watching these Monica and Shelby’s YouTube channels and now there’s another source! They’re very relatable and also I love their style of informing their viewers and listeners while also making it interesting. They’re definitely a breath of fresh air! Love the podcasts and can’t wait for the next week!
  • Liliipp
    My new favorite
I love listening to Monica and Shelby because unlike most Youtubers/ influencers that have started podcasts, they actually have meaningful advice and they aren’t just talking about random crap. I struggle with listening to podcasts because I get annoyed with people’s voices and just how they speak, but Monica and Shelby sound mature and unlike others have a wide vocabulary 😂 They are so real and I can’t wait for more episodes!
  • XoxoKatie
Keep it up! Episode 1 alone was amazing!
It was refreshing to hear the realness of someone so successful! There’s not a lot out there. I would love to see more about how you started YouTube, how you found success with so much competition, and interviews with a twist! I also love how y’all went for it! You just decided to do it. Could you talk more about how you started the podcast & what went into that? Thank you again for another great podcast to add to my list!

    Like chatting with a friend
I’m so excited to see Monica and Shelby doing a podcast — being the same age and having watched their videos for many years, it’s particularly comforting to hear more of the ins and outs of their paths. That, combined with questions from people who are also around the same age and dealing with similar issues is a good reminder that we’re all on this weird path together. Looking forward to the next episodes!
