While not all have an excellent film be their film film, it is still important to remember them. It’s a great show overall if you are a film fan.

Rob is a great host that finds great guests that are sometimes big names, sometimes scholars, sometimes fans. Discussions are breezy and fun, at same time extremely informative. I’ve been a fan of Rob’s shows for years and so I knew going in that I was in for a well-produced and entertaining show. The concept is great, especially since not every filmmaker goes out on a classic, and he and his guests show a lot of appreciation for the movies and careers they talk about (even if they aren’t all gems). Moreover, when Rob has guests on who have worked in the industry, he has great conversations with them about their craft, and you learn quite a lot. This is an outstanding show!

This podcast covers the last film for an actor’s (director’s) career which could be for better or for worst. We always hear how someone “made it” in the industry but we rarely hear about how they exited the stage. Very entertaining! Five Stars! I say check it out!
