    Amazing parenting podcast!
Rachel does such a great job hosting this podcast! She’s always so up to speed with whoever she’s interviewing and asks them such great questions, which makes for a pleasant listening experience. I’ve learned so much from every podcast, but have to give a special shoutout to the independent play podcast. I made a few tiny tweaks based on recommendations from the pod, and it’s been an absolute game changer for my 3 yo’s independent play skills. Thanks Rachel!!

    Best parenting podcast
What an absolute gem of a podcast!!! Please do yourself a favor and take a listen! I get something out of every episode I listen to, even if it’s something I think doesn’t pertain to my situation or something I’m not concerned about. So so so good! I can’t recommend it enough.

    Best podcast for moms!
I started following Rachael when my little one was a newborn and she completely changed the way I viewed baby sleep and so many other parenting things. This podcast makes me feel less alone as a newer mom and almost mom of two! A lot of parenting content can make me feel so overwhelmed like I'm not doing enough but this podcast is the opposite! ♥️ @meaghan.andersen

    Informative and inspirational
I wish this podcast was around when I had my first baby. I think my stress would have been different and maybe even more enjoyable. Enjoyable stress! Yes! Ty Rachel for talking about things that ease this mamas tired mind.

    Great information for new parents.
I found this podcast by following you on instagram. I recently was cosleeping with my baby after he was outright refusing to sleep in his crib. Magically after weeks of attempting crib sleep, he decided to sleep thru the night. It’s been a week now and the fighting at bedtime is minimal. I never wanted to sleep train but was on the verge out of desperation. We tried one night to let him try to settle and I was back in his room in 10 minutes in tears as he screamed. I appreciate your account because I feel like you remove the pressure I feel to sleep train from other mom accounts. Angela356

    Podcast!!
This podcast has helped me so much during my parenting journey, especially with sleep. With my first child I was so stressed about her sleep. But now I am a mom of 2 (a newborn and toddler) and I can confidently say that I don’t stress about baby sleep and what society thinks of me co-sleeping/bed sharing because of Rachel’s knowledge. She actually made me feel more confident in having more children so thank you Rachel!! I love listening to the other parenting topics too. Us moms can benefit so much from her!! I always send her IG page and now podcast to new mamas. Meganjean_11

    More Rachael Please!
This podcast is the natural continuation of Rachael’s mission to reframe all things baby-related. Each episode is lovingly made, informative, and relatable. Like so many listeners, I found Hey Sleepy Baby in the early days of my first baby, and her content and guidance enabled me to relax and actually enjoy my baby by trusting my instincts. I look forward to each episode for her life perspective and the amazing interviews with the experts I want to hear more from! It’s a wonderful resource covering a full spectrum of issues parents are facing today!

    MUST listen!
This is the first podcast I’ve ever felt a real connection to. So many are just the “fluff” of parenting, or coming from a place that honestly isn’t real or realistic for most of us. It’s like every week something is covered that I was thinking about or wondering about and I’ve re-listened to many episodes. Highly recommend! (@julietpacer instagram)

Peace of mind in a podcast
I found Rachael a few years ago on instagram in the middle of the night when my baby would NOT go back to sleep. I was exhausted. Dad was exhausted. Baby was upset. And I was considering sleep training even though my heart refused to listen to her cry. Enter Rachael. Immediately found peace in not being alone. Peace in wisdom from someone who had been there before. Peace in learning safe and gentle sleep methods. I owe her so much. That baby is 3 now and sleeps through like a champ, even puts herself to sleep. And there’s a new baby in the house keeping us awake. But now I treasure every moment of it. Because babies don’t keep. And because Rachael taught me better 😂

    One of my favorites.
I found Rachel after I had my second baby. I’ve loved following everything she does and the podcast is no different. I could listen to her and Marley all day. So entertaining and informative. She’s helped me realistically manage the fact that my first was a unicorn sleeper from the get and my second is 4 yo next month and still wakes me nightly. IG @hbombers

    Solidarity + knowledge!
Have loved Rachael’s IG account for almost 3 years now when I found it with my first, it saved my sanity! Now I am so grateful as I am nap trapped with my second to soak up these podcasts that leave me with an incredible amount of new knowledge and so much solidarity with her and the people she interviews 🫶🏼 Worth a follow for any mom or caregiver of littles!! -@madiegrace77

    Real parenthood
Rachael is amazing. She dives into the topics I care about as a new mom and does so with humor, realism, and complete openness. Listening to her podcast feels like having coffee with a friend (who knows all things parenthood and brings her expert friends along!). As a new mom this podcast has been invaluable not only when it comes to information but also to help me not feel alone in motherhood. Thank you Rachae!! @danipowt

    Feeling heard & seen!
I was never a podcast girly until I became a mom. Rachel and her phenomenal guests really hit to the core. As a FTM I felt so seen, heard and empowered after listening. They’re sweet, funny, educational… I could go on and on. As Rachel recommend, listening when you’re putting baby to bed was the best for me. I highly recommend this podcast and I am so so grateful I found it. I will definitely recommend to all moms I know! @sophiaguese_

    The pod for all parents
This podcast is a seamless and natural continuation of the open dialogue Rachael offers on her social media platforms. Personally, I am careful when choosing which parenting content to consume as I know how easy it is to slip into comparing but I have never felt that here. She is passionate yet self-effacing, and approaches topics thoughtfully and mindfully. That’s my opinion!!!!!!! (-Tamra Judge) @miafratt

    Incredibly Helpful & Reassuring!
I found this podcast when my baby was 6 months old and have absolutely loved it. In the first few months of being a first time mom I felt so overwhelmed by the “rules” my baby and I were supposed to be following but kept failing to adhere to. Then I found NOTU and realized what we were going through was so. normal. Rachael keeps it real while also sharing awesome advice and has wonderful guests! The perfect thing to listen to while I’m nap trapped 🙂

    SO Genuine and Knowledgable !!
I found Rachael when my baby was going through a tough sleep phase around 6mo and WOW do I wish I had found her earlier! I love listening to these episodes on walks or as I’m laying with my daughter as she falls asleep. The community she has created is invaluable and I am beyond grateful she is sharing her extensive knowledge with the world.

    Finally acceptance!
Started listening after following Rachael on “Hey Sleepy Baby” and finding acceptance not only of my maternal instincts and inner knowing of what is right for my child; but acceptance of my baby’s instincts and behavior. She helps with every episode and post to empower women in a world of manipulation and fear mongering. Forever grateful. @katherine.r.n

    You’re not alone!
NOTU podcast has quickly become my favorite parenting podcast. Rachel consistently chooses topics and chats with guests who make me feel like what I’m experiencing as a first time mom is normal and doable! I look forward to every new episode and have listened since the very beginning after following her on instagram. Listening to this podcast will make you feel like you’re not alone. Thank you Rachel!

Finally a down to earth podcast from a mom of three kids who has a wealth of knowledge to offer her listeners. I love the variety of guests she has on the show. This is a must listen for any parents, but especially those of younger kids. I’ve learned so much and am grateful for the advice!! @ashricci88

    She is me!
I am a first time mama and while I have had gut instincts about what is best for my baby girl and me since before she was even born, I had started to doubt myself because of all the “noise” on social media and even coming from my friends and family. Then I found @heysleepybaby and her podcast and I felt so seen! She validates every parenting emotion and doubt I was experiencing and has also given me new perspective of being a mom. I am so grateful that I found her instagram and when I realized she also had a podcast, I was so excited. I went back to listen to her first ever solo podcast episode (highly recommend!!) and it brought me to tears. I even texted my mom saying “I finally found my relatable mama podcast. She is me!!!” If you want to feel connected, informed, and at peace with your personal parenting choices, give her podcast a listen. Thank you Rachael! So happy to be on the parenthood journey with the help of your compassionate wisdom.

Every episode is so relatable and spot on - I appreciate the realness and it helps make me feel like I’m not the only one! Some aspects of parenthood are so unique yet not talked about enough - Rachael does! Love it!

    Great Support
My wife and I listen to this podcast routinely. It’s great to know the stresses and struggles we sometimes face with our little one are not unique to us. Hearing similar stories and how other parents handle them is totally validating.

    So helpful + relatable!
Love Hey Sleepy Baby Instagram, and double love that Rachael started a podcast! It’s relatable, it’s got such helpful practical advice, and it’s conversations I feel like are often lacking but are so needed!!! So grateful and highly recommend to any parent, or soon to be parent! @abigailstrosser

    Just what I needed
This podcast is truly what I wish I had when prepping for my first baby. The NICU episode especially hit hard as we had a 30 day stay in the NICU and many challenges stemming from prematurity. The conversation made me feel seen and so much less alone! Knowing what others have been through and being able to relate makes me feel way more sane in this sometimes crazy thing that is motherhood.

    Life saver
This podcast is a must for all parents! I have learned so much and honestly feel more prepared as a parent from Rachel’s teachings. Not only does she gently challenge what your prior sleep expectations are with studies and science—she also teaches about many aspects of parenting that include loosening your expectations and grip on your parenting ideals!
  • EmilyRichOT
    Must-listen!
I love Rachel’s approach to sleep and many other things parenting so it’s very fitting that she would make a podcast I’d love. The guests are awesome and I learn so much! I just feel like this content helps me to be a better parent to my son and a better, more gentle voice to myself as I try to navigate all the complexities of perfectionism and wanting to do what’s best for my little. 🤍 I am so thankful!

    Supportive and informative!
So much information and support and zero judgment! Different strategies work for different people and that’s recognized with so much encouragement to do what works best for you and your family and so positivity-a rarity when it comes to the majority of mommy platforms & communities out there. I’ve found my support here! @kara__king

    The best podcast for parents!!
Following Rachael on Instagram has been life-changing since having my daughter so I was so excited when she came out with a podcast! My number one recommendation to new mom friends is to listen to her podcast. I have felt so much more confident as a parent after listening to her expertise on sleep and also learning from all of her guests! The episode on starting solids and picky eaters was beyond helpful. I can’t say enough good things and truly think every caretaker would benefit from listening!

    One of my favorites
I am not a podcast junkie, but there are some that I make sure to listen to, and share with friends, weekly. This is one of them. The topics are wide ranging and interesting, and I’ve found so many new things out just by listening. And so many new and knowledgeable people to follow or look up things discussed by listening. I send this to so many people in all stages of parenting. Thank you for everything! I

Beyond grateful for the community and support Rachel has created for mommas. Especially as a first time mom helping me with everything sleep when it came to my baby girl. And openness in terms of relationships, marriage. Loved this episode!!!

    Amazing!
The HeySleepyBaby account and podcast is amazing! I first found Rachael when my toddler was a newborn after going through weeks of sleep deprivation trying to put our newborn down and failing. I was at a breaking point of having no sleep where I was hallucinating and waking up to the baby next to me in bed when I had only ever knowingly put him in his bassinet. I was not prepared to have him in bed with me, knew the way we were doing it wasn’t safe and knew I had to find another way to make sleep work for us. That’s when I found this Godsend account and learned about cosleeping and how to do so safely. I never knew how easily sleep could be obtained just by going back to the basics of biologically normal infant sleep. Our cosleeping journey has been absolutely amazing since, so sincerest thanks to Rachael for all of the information and peace of mind you have shared. What you do really impacts people and changes peoples lives for the better.

    Normalizing normal
This podcast is part of my therapy that helps me not over stress about my child’s needs/sleep/food/development and my relationship. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old - neither sleep through the night, we co-sleep, and I now am very content with that

    Mom Pod Gold
Motherhood is hard. Period. This podcast makes it easier. Informative, relatable, and easy to digest/apply strategies from all the different topics. I wouldn’t be the mom I am today without having found Rachael’s account three years ago.

    Really Well Done
Sometimes it’s hard for me to make time for podcasts - this is one of the ones that is never a waste. Racheal’s guests are top notch and she always has such important information to share. Doesn’t feel like chatter or talking about nonsense. Love it

    So relatable
Started listening to this during my super interrupted and quick night workouts and cannot recommend enough. Have loved hearing and feeling understood about so many topics… from bed sharing to safe body conversations. My little is 1 and I’ve been raising her on my own but HSB fam and NOTU podcast fam is such a good community I dont feel so alone. 10/10 if I could
