MJW511Salute!Man oh man! I love this podcast! I really dig the conversations of musicians talking about what makes the greats, great! Educational and entertaining every time! Plus, I’ve found myself looking up cats I’d never heard and expanding my music listening! Thank you for this podcast!

mikeboltonGreat podcast! As a pastor who has listened to jazz for many years, I enjoy this podcast! I think the Vince Guaraldi at Grace Cathedral and Duke Ellington sacred jazz concerts were cutting edge at the time they were brought together.

Raf.NievesGreat resource!I am currently a doctoral student researching the interplay between theology and musical improvisation. In this field, you either have theologians (who are not musicians) thinking about music, or musicians (who are not theologians) thinking about theology, but there’s always a lacuna in their thinking because of the lack of experiential knowledge. When I came across this resource I could not believe how fitting it was! The fact that it connects professional musicians with Fr. Doren gives it a new and complete perspective. Keep it up!

blondeblurConvertedNever knew. Never knew I’d be a fan of Jazz, but this conversation on Duke drew me in. By 5 minutes into this podcast I was Googling away, exploring more about what these Local Legends passion through words about Jazz. Can’t wait to hear this same passion presented in music on Sunday!
