World Gone Wrong: a fictional chat show about friendship at the end of the world

Malik and Jamie were roommates when the world ended. What if the body snatcher that took over my ex is nice? When did the kudzu start humming like that? Malik & Jamie will try to help!World Gone Wrong releases every other week on Tuesdays.

A comfort in yet another unprecedented time!
At a time where the actual real life world, feels a lot ‘gone wrong’ there’s something comforting in knowing at least we don’t have alien snatchers or kaiju. This show is hilarious and heartfelt and perfect listening for 2025.

    Great
This is a great podcast for fans of weirdness, also Jamie do you have any advice for how to deal with Weresharks! They are causing problems here in Florida. The only thing that works is my werewolf amulet witch lets me keep my mind and control my self when I transform into a vamp-wolf.

    Enjoying it
I was a bit hesitant to listen, at first, as the premise seemed a bit odd, but I quickly found myself looking forward to the next episode. I don’t truly know how to describe the show as it’s comedy, cosmic horror maybe, drama, and more. I’m surprised how well they can do the episodic supernatural event of the week while still showing the growth and change of these to characters dealing with life.

    Awesome show
I totally wonderful meditation on how we as humans and we as a society can cope with change. This podcast takes these weighty issues and makes it palatable through a wondrous and imaginative filter.

    Listen! It’s a unique joy.
Warm, funny, absurd, and deeply thoughtful all at the same time. It’s hard to achieve that and this show’s writing and cast deliver.

    Your Florida listener
If you only have one Florida listener, it is me. Don’t worry, we love Florida jokes if anything you’re too kind about our state. I’m confident it’s actually run by drunk alligators with mullets and a meth problem

    I just don’t get it.
I’ve been through the first few episodes but can’t keep going. It’s incredibly boring.

Incredible podcast of the modern world
First off DnD is awesome! But also great job approaching real issues like trees becoming people and lycanthropy affected pets! Have a great day, I can’t wait for the next episode! Hold up is the “eldritch food” pizza??????

    This is my kinda apocalypse
I love this show so much! Exploring an insane world through the lens of two friends is the kind of feel good listening I need. Who knew an apocalypse could make me feel all fuzzy.

    A bright light
Each new episode brightens my day, just like the two fictional hosts brighten each others'. The warmth, humor and light these two spread during a time which is even more unpredictable than our own help me be more optimistic and feel a little more "baseline".

    Another Pitch-Perfect Fictional Pod
The show I didn’t know I needed right now. Funny and sweet with an undertone of looming despair, just like every dang day these past few years. Like all of the Audacious Machine shows, beautifully written, beautifully acted, and gorgeously staged. Can’t wait to hear more.

    Fantastic
This is the show I needed. It's two old friends jokingly discussing serious subjects affecting their fictional world (like werewolves, vampires, and time distortion) and how it affects the parts of their lives we can relate to (like working overtime, being separated from loved ones, and paying the rent). I want to hug Jamie and Malik.

    Perfect niche
Meets the surreality of the world where it is and gives it a hilarious spin!

    Wholesome funny and makes laugh
I was/am a HUGE fan of unwell and generally love the writing from this team but I will admit I was hesitant about a podcast “from the end of the world” normally dystopia stuff makes me uncomfortable and I can’t listen to it. But THIS!!! This is amazing and makes me giggle. It’s not pandemics and zombies but silly body snatchers, werewolves and vampires. Plus these two characters talk like I would talk and makes me ache for my friends while also feel like I’m wrapped in a warm blanket of familiarity. If you are on the fence based on the premise pleaseeeeee give it a try
