David and Jason are thoughtful and kind individuals who provide knowledgeable and well-thought-out analysis of the DC universe. Not only that, but they have a hilarious sense of humor that consistently makes me laugh. Several years ago, David told a humorous anecdote on the podcast about saying to a fellow customer in a place of business “I’m not real” in place of “I don’t work here”, and that’s still an anecdote which I recount to others to this day. Even when I have pretty much a polar opposite opinion to the one being expressed on this podcast (something that is almost inevitable to occur anytime The Dark Knight Rises comes up in conversation), I still find David and Jason so much fun to listen to.

Dave and Jason are always great to listen to for an excellent casual conversation about the DC multiverse. I love that you share your true opinions good and bad.. I look forward to listening to you both and hearing what James Gunn has in store for the future of the DCU. Thank you guys!

Favorite part is the fact that the hosts are fans of the media but not blind fanboys that think there can be no wrong. I enjoy the realistic and relatable perspectives. Highly recommend

This is a hard time to be a fan. New content is all on pause, we can't go hang out with our fellow fans, and more than anything, every day it seems like there is a new story about the creator of something we love doing something terrible. So many fancasts just try to ignore all this, talking about how great everything is, and loving every piece of media their fandom puts on screen. These guys remind me of everything that is good about fandom. They are huge DC Fanboys and will go hard for the stuff they love, while also being critical of what doesn't make the mark. (their reviews of some of the low points of the Arrowverse are hilarious. But recently I've been so impressed by how they've handled the DC. vs. Ray Fisher controversy. Instead of just blindly defending the company that makes the movies they love, they've looked closely at the facts of what happened, walked their audience through their thought process, and stood strongly on the side of Ray Fisher. This is fandom at its best, and very worth a listen.

After listening to them for years i have way more knowledge and opinions when it comes to DC comics than any of my friends. I first came to this podcast for the news and commentary but stayed for the squirrels and bat hotdogs.

I have been listening to DC on Screen for quite awhile, was looking for something to get news on BVS. Dave and Jason hit all the important topics and even some of the non important ones (just kidding). But outside of the podcast they are also very engaged with their fans. Even posted a topic about which Superman is your Superman. And then went through and talked about a lot of the posts which was pretty cool. So if you are looking for a great dc news source with a bit of mirth and friendly hosts, this is the one for you!

DC on Screen is a podcast full of some of the greatest antics known to mankind. If you want to listen to two guys babble on (like I do), then this is the podcast for you.

Hands down, 100%, the best podcast of its kind. Better than a suicidal cast of squads, far beyond the fatmen, and better than ists’ of nerds. About “DC On Screen”, I have overheard Aquaman say “MY MEN!”. Jack Napier was quoted as “You....are my #1....uh guys.” Oliver Queen says “They have Not! failed this city!”...”It’s the only podcast I listen to when I go for run.” Said CSI tech Barry Allen. Clark Kents review in the Daily Planet reads “They are going to blow up like Krypton.” And strangely when asked The Dark Knight replied only “I am Batman.” Listening to DC on screen is as close to talking about the subject matter with my buddies as it gets. You could easily crack open a cold one and feel like you are part of the conversation. David and Jason have great chemistry! They are hilarious to listen to! Their shows are informed and honest, and their knowledge of DC far surpasses my own! I always learn something new about DC every episode! Not only that, I really enjoy hearing them talk about non-DC shows like VR Troopers, Riverdale, or Brooklyn Nine-Nine on occasion. They even do post-credit Marvel film reviews!

This podcast is one of the most unique and different DC related podcasts I've listened to. Dave and Jason are two really funny guys who are passionate about all things DC while still remaining critical about what the company can do to improve itself. I like listening to differing opinions and even though at times I don't agree with them, I'm always open to hearing different takes on the DC news. My favorite episodes were when they talked about the DC films that never got made which got me both intrigued and relieved at the same time. The great Suicide Squadcast recommended this podcast and I'm glad they did because this show is awesome, even though they hate the masterpiece that is Man of Steel... no one is perfect I guess.

If you're looking for a good, positive D.C. podcast go to holy batcast or the suicide squadcast. I don't even usually leave reviews but their WW review frustrated me so much that I had to. They also flood your feed with reviews of every tv show.

I've been listening to your podcast for a little while now, and I have to say that I appreciate your consistency and dedication to the show. I feel I've learned so much about the world of DC, various random tv shows, and just comics in general. DC On Screen is exactly what I was looking in a podcast and I have a lot of respect for you guys. Thanks for all of the insight and the laughs.

My favorite thing about this show is that Jason sounds just like Steve Buscemi. That reason alone is enough to reward this show with 5 stars. Aside from that, I like that Dave and Jason are fans who fairly provide balance to the extreme opinions out there. By that I mean they're not only willing to defend the underrated DC properties (e.g., the DCEU), but also rightfully admit the flaws in that which is overrated (e.g., the Dark Knight movies). Highlights of this show include the episodes where they explore the DC movies that never made it onto film, including an insightful look at what went wrong with Joel Schumacher's films. This podcast managed to achieve the unthinkable, by giving me a whole lot more sympathy for Schumacher himself and how he may have actually made some pretty good movies if he was allowed to do what he wanted. The worst parts of this show, however, are their exaggerrated complaints on color grading, and when Dave invites his ignorant friend Matt Carroll on.

As a fan of all cinematic comic properties (DC and Marvel, sue me), this is a great podcast for DC and general comic lovers alike. Great commentary on all properties and very fair and positive in their reviews, especially when they're being critical. Keep up the great work guys!

This is a great podcast that reviews DCTV shows and DC movies without giving fawning unrepentant praise. They have genuine cricism, yet still show that they love the content. I also appreciate that their review episodes are usually about 20 minutes long. That really helps when you watch all of the DCTV shows, like I do (minus Lucifer). They also provide a one-stop source for DC news and provide perspective on many of the characters and their comic history.

I found this podcast through Suicide Squadcast & have enjoyed it since. Just like Tim & Scott on Squadcast, Dave & Jason are very enthusiastic about the DC properties & do a good job on reporting on them & I like that they also review the DC shows episode by episode. Even if they're down a DC movieo/show, at least they're down on it from a place of wanting to love it instead of predetermined dislike, which is a huge difference in my book. To sum up: I enjoy the pod, keep doing what you're doing guys!

Some of my favorite memories from college were watching superhero movies or TV shows with my friends, and then spending hours afterward talking about them- what we liked, what we hated, what did or didn't fit the canon, how we thought it set up the next episode or movie, etc. This podcast is like one of those discussions- they are funny, insightful, and make me excited to watch DC things just so I can hear their take on it.

As a fan of podcasts, one who has been actively listening to not only this show but many podcasts over the past 4 years. DC on Screen has remained my favorite and the one constant through out my ever evolving playlist. Dave and Jason are two of the funniest guys of any show that I listen to. Above all. what has endeared me to this show is how much interaction they have with their fans. If you have something to say to them you can be sure they will take the time to answer you back. I used to get all my news from Fatman on Batman until I discovered DC on Screen. Ive checked out alot of other DC podcasts, DC on Screen is by far the best there is. From their weekly show recaps alway to batweiners there is not one part of the show I dont love. Not only the most reliable news source for my all my DC needs but it just feels like talking to my friends. I know it sounds weird but it often feels like im a part of the conversation even though im only a listener. ive had quite a rough year with allot of ups and downs and long hours on the road but I can always count on Dave and Jason to be there every week to cheer me up. The only negative aspect of this review will be that I can only give the show 5 stars. it deserves so many more. Keep up the good work. I'll be sure to keep DC on what ever screen im looking at.
