Update- I stopped listening because of the loud ads and I came back a year later and I can’t believe they still aren’t fixed! And now there’s sooo many more ads. This podcast has the potential to be great. What a shame. Update- I can’t do it anymore. Unfortunately I’m going to have to unsubscribe until the blaring commercials are fixed. Months of complaints from tons of people about the volume of the ads and they still aren’t fixed. You’ve lost a lot of listeners due to this. Update- There are so many people complaining about the volume of the ads and nothing has been done to fix it. You are going to lose your listeners if you don’t fix it. PLEASE FIX THE VOLUME OF THE ADS! Original review- I love listening to this creepy podcast and the narrators voice is soothing, but the ads are so loud!!!

About to give up on this one. I love the narrator’s voice, and the stories are good. But the ads are super loud and jarring, and in strange places. Find myself bracing for the constant jump scares from the loud ads. Too many other good podcasts out there to listen to.

Not very satisfying…. :/ Not sure what this podcast is supposed to be? Ideas for stories for other authors to complete? Some kind of weird series? This episode had 4 or 5 unrelated stories without endings, pretty lame if you’re looking for a story With a beginning, a middle, and an END… Guys got a nice voice, but the material leaves a lot to be desired.

These aren’t even stories. It’s 5-6 completely unrelated 2 minute blurbs. No clear separation, and no follow up or ending. Nothing is relating. I’m so disappointed

The show itself is great, but it’s only a fraction of the upload. Some other weird show or ads happen for the majority of the show. I’m hoping it’ll go back to just being stories and not 80% ads but I’m reaching my limit. I’ll probably give it a few more weeks and unsubscribe. It really tanks the whole podcast and there’s plenty of other podcasts out there

The extra podcast added at the end of each Be Scared episode is odd— it ruins the scary and mysterious tone set by Be Busta. I also don’t remember there being an announcement about this happening, and discovered this extra podcast without warning. This gives me the same emotions I had when I found out there was an unsolicited U2 download in my iTunes app years back— it’s annoying, frustrating, and confusing.

I suppose attracting more ads is a marker of success. But also succeeds in alienating your audience. Unsubscribe

Wonderful stories to help you fall asleep. Perfect length, perfect content. Them something apparently happened to the format. The show ends and some off the wall content that seems like it’s own independent show starts. Reminds me of being a kid in the early 1980s and going to a drive in movie that held a double feature. One movie was the good movie, the other was terrible. I sure hope B-Buster ends this practice or a lot of us loyal listeners will be G-Gone.

Why is there a second podcast for half the episode that doesn’t appear in the description at all? It feels like you must’ve made a technical error because if someone actually decided to do this on purpose, you deserve everyone to unsubscribe. It’s impossible to listen to!

You have a great podcast and a great speaking voice but for the LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND HOLY pleaaaase stop taking breaths in the middle of sentences. I think you think it gives some dramatic flare but it does not!! People who have a story to get out do not take dramatic pauses in the middle of a sentence. I was a theatre professional for years and unless a pause absolutely helps tell the story then you need to stop it! It’s really exhausting.

I use to love love love this podcast but now Why is the podcast split with something completely unrelated to the stories you tell. It’s a whole other podcast connected to yours? It cuts your podcast in half and I end up having to shut it off because some lady comes on talking about parenting or another guy talking about finance for half an hour! I don’t understand where this podcast is going now. Please go back to how it use to be!!!

The podcast it’s self is great but there’s is a production problem. The podcast is extremely low in volume and then the advertisements BLAST in your ear. Difficult to listen when you’re trying to relax. Would be nice if the volume was consistent.

What happened to this show? Once upon a time the stories were spooky and interesting. Now it’s more “I might have seen something” or “something bad could’ve happened”. Add to that the super long commercials, and stories abruptly ending and immediately followed by commercials. Sometime the story is interrupted by a commercial. Do better B Buster. It was so much nicer when you were just promoting Best Fiends.

The new half hour commercials ruin this for me. I don’t want to listen to some guy talk about finance for a half hour at the end of my horror show. Unsubscribing

Many of the stories are like diary entries - nothing really scary, often with no conclusion. And with so many ads it just feels like this is a cheap attempt to cash in on the podcast trend. There are so many podcasts that have quality fiction, this one just isn’t worth my time.

Recently I’ve noticed that the narrator switched towards the end. Not sure if it’s a collaboration with another podcaster but not liking it. A heads up should be given at the beginning.

Your voice is so relaxing and I sleep to your podcast every night. The best episodes by far are “The kin” . The episodes are the perfect length and there is enough to listen to for the rest of my life 😆. Keep it up!

Great stories, I have been looking for a new podcast and this is the one!!!!

I’m a new listener Listening for about two weeks or so and I’m already up will take me a while to go through the entire catalog so far it’s really good good narration creepy stories good soundtrack

But apparently it’s not for me anymore. The long form stories once in awhile can be cool - but it was too much. Now going behind the “oh you have to be a studio whatever member to listen to the ONE story we post this week”. Nope. I don’t care if it’s a free trial. This is not a “need” in my life.

I love this podcast. I do a lot of traveling in remote areas, midnight driving, camping alone, and this is the perfect podcast to listen to if you have similar hobbies because most of them take place outdoors, while hiking or camping, etc. so if you're a psycho like me who likes the horror experience to be immersive, this is the one. I also love the host's voice and accent, it's very soothing. EDIT: oh no not the long form serial episodes now! Please go back to the multiple shorts.

Update : switched the format to longform fiction. I’m not in to it. Bummer. But go. what a bummer maybe I’ll check back later. (my original review) Really great stories, I’d say the best podcast of this kind out there. I love the accent too, great narrating voice. But the ads are much louder than the rest of the show which is jarring, especially the ad for the podcast with the two obnoxious guys. Please turn that down a notch.

My 9yr old and I listen to “scary podcast “ every night before bed. He loves Busta’s voice. He usually falls asleep within the first 3 mins. I can listen to his story’s but if I do doze off the only down side is the commercials are so loud they wake me up. That is my only complaint other than that this would be my favorite podcast. I don’t mind ads I just don’t like how loud they are compared to the calming voice of Be. These are the best stories though.

Not only is his YouTube channel AMAZING and 3 + plus hours long but this podcast is perfect for great bedtime stories love the voice!! Keep up the great work! LOVE YA BE 💙💙

The minimalist style of narrative flows silky smooth with every detail of the storyline. This show has to be in the top 5, best for binge listening, every creepy episode.

I have listened for a long time now and have loved the content. I have noticed that more of my long loved shows have started bogging their episodes down with a ridiculous amount of ads to encourage ppl to subscribe at a cost to avoid them. I understand the motivation and necessity of making money to maintain the show and that one can pay to avoid ads, but I am not one of the lucky ones who can afford it. I ultimately wouldn’t mind ads, and don’t on many other of the shows I enjoy, who also run a lot of ads, but it is the way they are dropped in on this show that is the reason I can no longer say I love this show. I think it’s not secret people listen to these shows while falling asleep and as someone who has a really hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, I can’t tell you how incredibly angering it is to finally be drifting off only to have a super annoying and super loud ad blast you in the ear balls hard enough to make sleep another hour long endeavor. There’s no excuse to run ads in the middle of a sentence at 20x the volume of the regular audio. I can only conclude it is purposeful which means I won’t be keeping this show on my go to list. So sad that what used to be a great show has now become unbearable due to a totally controllable factor.

I have been a fan of Be. Busta for quite some time now, I came over from YouTube and was always astonished by what he put out there. I had listened to a few of his videos at first, but what really hooked me in was the story of the left/right game. Not only has he been able to match that caliber of story telling with his soothing/chilling voice, he has been able to surpass that bar and I feel he truly sets the standard for narration. I listen to quite a few narrators but I always come back for more from Be. I have even revisited plenty of narrations he has done, because that’s how stellar his work is! This platform truly enhances and elevates my story listening experience, so grateful he has another outlet to show off his work!

This is a really good podcast but the sound levels between the podcast and the commercials is jarring. I literally have to go back and forth several times changing the volume levels up and down when commercials come on. I like to listen to the podcasts when I’m sleeping but when I’m almost asleep and a commercial comes on, it’s like waking up in the Vietnam war.

I listen to the stories while I crochet. Perfect for me.

That’s wrong, so very wrong. Why should I pay when I’m just getting a different type of ad, apparently someone from another pushing vaccination isn’t considered advertising? Stupid!

I’ve been listening to this on my way to high school which was 6 years ago. I still to this day enjoy it even with all the “blaring commercials” I really don’t care. It’s soothing and intriguing and gets me in a good mood when I’m doing chores around the house.

Great stories and stuff but this goofy accent takes all of the scare out of it for me.

I love the show itself but the amount of ads is extremely annoying and disruptive, Sometimes I can’t tell the difference between the show and ads because the ads are about scary story podcasts. I liked the stories a lot!! But the commercials were just blaring loud. Please turn them down to the same level as the rest of your podcast. That’s how all good podcasts treat the volume of their ads. I have never heard ads on any shows as loud as yours - they ruin the high quality of your featured material which is great!!

I get excited every single week to see what amazing creepy stories B.Busta has in store! Easily one of my favorite podcasts. The ads aren’t bad and I never feel like they’re too disruptive to the vibe. 10/10 recommend.

Unfollowed due to LOUD ads which is unfortunate

I had just started listening to this podcast today to help fill the silence of being alone in the office at work. Making me question if I’m actually alone. And nothing scares me more than the ad promos in the middle of some of the episodes. Gives me a real good scare after listening to the stories😂

I have been a long time subscriber of Be Busta YouTube channel since I was in high school. I love the fact that the videos are on Apple Podcasts. My only concern is the ad frequency, sometimes being after every single story. I normally listen to podcasts as such to help me go to sleep. Would like a little bit less of ad frequency, but other than that amazing podcast!!

I’ve gone through numerous different podcasts (horror related) and this one takes the cake by a long shot! Not only the voice and emotion he puts in, but the overall experience and tranquillity of this podcast is truly phenomenal, outstanding job man keep up the amazing podcasts! I’ll be listening every day🙏🏻😁
