Was looking for a podcast to discuss Liverpool football and got a group of loser fans whinging about Arsenal’s set piece coach mural. Poor insight when they did get around to talking about the club this podcast is supposed to be talking about.

    Analyzing Anfield only
The quality difference between Analyzing Anfield and the others is giant. Other shows are just punditry without anything better than pub opinions. Very low quality sports talk.

    Analyzing Anfield
Best of its kind out there. Mandatory listening every week without fail

Love the different voices and perspectives
I don’t listen to every episode and certain formats hit better, but still always a good check in with the Reds.

    Need better production
I enjoy their perspectives, but the production quality of the podcasts is frequently so poor that it makes for difficult listening.

Keep Analyzing Anfield as it is!
Really enjoy their dynamic and pov

    Team Mo Stewart
Would love to know what’s actually going on there with Mo maybe not returning? If it’s a production decision, then it’s a terrible one because Josh and Mo’s chemistry is similar to Sturridge and Suarez. On paper, you might not be sure how it works, but on the pitch (or on the pod), it’s given me some of the best moments I can remember. I’ve always tuned into podcasts featuring Josh and Mo, and when they replaced Dave with Mo, I was extremely excited. It even surpassed any of the lofty expectations I had for the show. Their styles dove tail with each other nicely and it is always an insightful and elevated conversation. I really hope that they continue this partnership; however, I will follow Josh and Mo wherever they feature as I am a huge fan of their perspective and knowledge on Liverpool in particular. If it’s a wifi issue, I’ll start a gofundme to get Mo a top shelf service. Cheers Mo and Josh from America. Really appreciate the content you’ve put together as a team!

    Good show
Can you guys get quality microphones? Audio is always pretty average. Otherwise great show
  • SammmmyB
So great to keep up with our club, but FIX audio quality please!!
So consistent with the episodes! But please please PLEASE help your contributors with their audio quality! It’s embarrassing. are they purposely entering the biggest, most echoing bathroom before recording? Spend 20 quid for a decent microphone so we don’t have to listen to the garbled Underwater Liverpool Chronicles

Great but STOP CLICKING THE MOUSE BUTTON EVERY 2sec’s
Love the Pod, but on today’s (Where Arthur fits…) & I’ve heard it regularly on the pod, someone is clicking a computer mouse every 2sec’s and ITS DRIVING ME MAD!! PLEASE STOP THAT!!! It makes the pod unlistenable! But otherwise great.

    Great content but…
All, can we get some better production values for the pod. Content and presenters are great but sound is awful, intro playing over host’s opening remarks, guests at different sound levels than host…… you can do better.
  • Bo Doogley
    Dreadful Production
Today’s edition of the podcast was excruciating to listen to. An extended double-header reporter reaction was painful to listen to. While on-site reporting inevitably might have some background noise, tonight’s sounded like a whole orchestra of fingernails on a chalk board. In future, perhaps, skip that piece if the sound doesn’t reach a standard quality. This was an ugly, uncomfortable cherry on a terrific win for the Reds.
  • Griffin3480
    Production sound issue
I love these podcasts but can someone adjust the volume on the “Blood Red Podcast from the Liverpool Echo” interruptions, they are significantly louder than the podcast

    You’ll Never Walk Alone
The Blood Red Podcast is a podcast to keep Liverpool FC (LFC) fans informed about games and plans about what is happening in the Premier League. I found this podcast while looking for some interesting soccer related podcasts and while I was doing this, I saw The Blood Red podcast pop up so I thought I would see what it is and found out it was an LFC podcast. There were two things in this podcast that I will never forget one being when they talked about Liverpool beating Manchester United at Manchester United for the first time in seven years, and second in the episode “HEAD OF GOD” it talks about how Alisson Becker Liverpool's Keeper is the six keeper to score in the premier league but the first Liverpool keeper to ever score for Liverpool in 129 years. I would like this podcast to cover more than just the post-game, Agenda, and before game podcast, I feel like they should also try and get into the Liverpool FC training grounds in Kirkby England. If I would like to know if the host has any soccer experience himself and see how long the sport of soccer has been a part of his life and how long he has been a Red’s fan. The Premier League which is the top soccer league in England is what level Liverpool play at and I know from watching this team and listening to the podcast that they have had a rough season losing so many players to injury like Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson, Diogo Jota, and many more. This podcast is still very interesting and has let me learn more about what is going on in the premier league and keeping me and anyone else who listens to it caught up with what's happening at Anfield Liverpool’s Home Stadium. In all three of the episodes that I listened to they were talking about the top 4 team of the premier league which all get qualified for the UEFA Champions League and right now three teams are fighting for that fourth-place spot Liverpool, Leicester city and Chelsea.

Everything reds related from on the pitch performances down to transfer rumors and even financials. The pods keep me informed and even more importantly staying positive as all these rival online trolls voice the probability of voiding the league.

    capital not culture
the migrant work camps of the middle east are indicative of western capitalism in a truly deregulated nation. this is the outcome any conservative, republican, or tory want for their own nations. the only reason this manifests in the middle east is because the cartel states of the persian gulf coop corporate interest more directly and with more capital than anywhere else in the globe. since both world cup and club world cup are being played in qatar it will allow the global entertainment industries to show these states for what they really are. i disagee with doyleys assessment that these obscene living facilities are a product of middle eastern culture. i propose that this phenomenon is a representation of our globalized society that emulates the naked spirit of its leading nations ie the united states. let world war ii serve as a reminder than corporatism is just another word for fascism.

Perfect for this American Reds Fan!
This is the perfect show to keep me plugged in with LFC from afar. I really appreciate each of the different types of episodes and approaches. Caoimhe O’Neill is my favorite!

    Good coverage
Great to have a lot of content to listen to while I wait for the next Liverpool game. The Analyzing Anfield episodes are the best statistical analysis out there! 👍🏼👍🏼 I also like the post game coverage, “poetry in motion” episodes as well as the “Allez Les Rouge” pods. Unfortunately Ian Doyle presence really brings down the vibe of the regular crew on the blood red episodes. He’s always stating the obvious and kills the emotion and excitement of the others. He just has to see things differently.. Thank you though to all the other contributors.

    Love it!
Ian Doyle is a top-drawer host. He ties together a great team, my favorite of whom are Joe Rimmer, Paul Gorst and James Pearce. I wish Kristian Walsh would return to the regular Blood Red pod. His chemistry with the others is great, and I think he’s wasted in the dry and dull Analyzing Anfield. AA could be made better by bringing some others on it to vary the conversation a bit. Josh has good insights but the AA pod feels too much like him and Kristian just reading off a stats encyclopedia. But overall love all the shows. Keep it up!

    Doyle needs to go
Please for the love of all that is holy take Ian Doyle off this podcast. He’s redundant, boring and has very few original thoughts. He’s a pedant. And boring. Did I mention boring? The tactical podcast is a welcome addition, though the first episode lacked a lot of tactical insight. Would love the types of insights I get on Tompkins Times in podcast format here. Janes Pearce is appreciated. Paul Gorst seems there to repeat what James says but with a frog in his throat. He’s not a radio man, would like him to go too. Sam Carrol is a good host. Get on it lads, clean up some bad staffers and you’ve got a top notch podcast here.

Perfect for a Liverpool fan to get that extra does of analysis
I started listening to this podcast over a year ago and it’s part of my main rotation of podcasts since. The channel is excellent for that post game analysis and is perfect for summer transfer analysis. I love the new Analyzing Anfield show (and the name). As someone who didn’t play football past middle school, a lot of the formations and technical nuances can fly over my head. Hope to hear more episodes analyzing these tactics in depth.

Worth Listening if you only want one LFC Podcast
Paul Wheelock is a true Professional and his shows are excellent. James Pearce is also top drawer and I always listen when he is on the pod! Up the EFFIN Reds from James in Western Colorado.

    Great podcast for LFC fans
Since there's no podcast hosted by Jürgen Klopp, this is no doubt the best LFC podcast available if you're looking for news and insight on all things LFC.

    Great Pod/Great Variety
U.S. supporter here (since 1998) and just wanted to say this pod is one of the best LFC pods around. The variety is really terrific, with interviews of all kinds from people associated with the club. The only disappointing episodes are the ones that sound like they’re being taped in a pub. The background noise is distractingly loud so I tend to skip those. Otherwise, a must-listen with quality content. Cheers to all the lads involved and up the Reds!

    New formats a plus
A must for any Red. Really enjoying this season's match previews and post-match reviews with Paul Wheelock and guests. James Pearce continues to be a standout with his insightful reporting and analysis. As a U.S.-based fan, the pod makes me feel truly connected to the club and fellow supporters. #YNWA

    Journalists are Excellent, Fans So-So
I really rate this podcast for discussion of all aspects of the Reds: pre-game, post-match, interest pieces, and interviews. I do have to say that the podcasts with the Echo staff and other journalists (including Paul Wheelock's discussions with journalists who cover our opponents) are a head and shoulders above the fan-based podcasts. I tend to listen to the beginning and end of the post-game podcasts (that's the James Pearce report and the clip from Jurgen Klopp's press conference) because hearing what fans have to say just after a match is often not interesting. And the Allez Les Rouges crowd tends to be too parochial and insular; I stopped listening to those editions about the third time I heard them proclaim that somebody "wasn't a real fan" if they either did or didn't do whatever those guys thought was right. But Paul Wheelock, Ian Doyle, James Pearce, Kristian Walsh and Paul Gorst (how tall is he, really?) are excellent.

Fantastic stuff--informative coverage with entertaining conversation. The guys make my commute to/from work much more enjoyable.

    Increasing content decreasing audio quality
By far my favorite source for Liverpool FC news. Blood Red is my favorite. Some of the others would be better if they were recorded in a quiet room instead of a bar. At times some of the worst audio quality you’ll ever hear.

    Cough Drops
Guys, please reach out to your audience for more feedback. One of you was coughing into the mic and I had to turn off. You can hear all sorts of background noise like phones buzzing. There's tons of interuption during points. Read some more fan letters, have a quick phone in, get some special guests in. Listen to the Men in Blazers for some ideas on how to lighten it up. Love that your are committed redmen and I only want this pod to be five star. From a Red in the USA. YNWA
