    The Heart Says Hello Mondays
Sarah and Jessi are a team in which everything starts from a place of compassion and empathy. This is obvious in their podcast and their live shows. Each and every conversation is a chance to learn and grow. I have tremendous respect for the show and the individuals behind it and hope they continue doing it for a long time. Also… happy birthday Sarah.

Highly recommend-One of my favorite podcasts!
Hello Monday is an excellent resource! I’ve been listening for about a year, and though I got into it as an HR professional looking to engage with content around the workplace, what I’ve found is that this show touches on all sorts of concepts that help me not just as a worker but as a *human*. The interviews are great and the community created in the weekly “office hours” sessions on LinkedIn are lovely too! Highly recommend!

    This Podcast Makes Me Better
Honestly, the thoughtful interviews Jessi Hemple co-creates and fascinating guests who share their skills and stories are consistently transformational for me. I have read probably a dozen books based on these interviews, and the conversations about race, gender, ability and general humanness provide insight. I listen every Monday as part of my routine (and I’m terrible at routine!). Do yourself a favor and bookmark it!

    Smart, Fun, Insightful
Hello Monday is a joyful listen that leaves you feeling smarter - about not only how to navigate the workplace, but also about life. Jessi Hempel is an outstanding host because she makes it seem like she’s in the trenches with you. It’s like your listening to practical, tactical advice with a friend. If you have a question, chances are she’s going to ask it. She’s that good of a listener and interviewer. Guests such as authors and professors offer research-based insights that you’ll want to jot down and keep close.

I always gain a deeper insight
I had been catching “Hello Monday” off and on for some time before becoming hooked with their Reinvention theme, which was explored in a series of episodes at the start of the year. The conversations are fresh, thoughtful and provocative, and stay with me for a while. On occasion I have gone back to listen to an episode (like the Daniel Pink interview) and always come back with an insight or takeaway that I can apply or experiment with in my work life. Big thanks to Jessi and her team!

    In the know
Hey Jessi Hempel and team! Thank you for keeping me current. Great range of topics that are must listens. I admire the quality of your interviews. Particularly loved interview with Vincent Fuller and hearing about his strategic pivot. Also, I very much enjoy the vibrant LinkedIn community you’ve attracted and reading the comments … always a treat.

    So helpful!
Jessie, I just wanted to let you know that your interview with Robin Arzon helped me summon the courage to take the first step that led to changing my career. I am a lawyer who stayed home many years with my children. I decided to go back to work as a teacher through the alternate route program but kept on hesitating because I wasn’t ready/trained/prepared. Robin spoke directly to that and encouraged people to jump in and start doing. I listened to her and sent out the resumes that ultimately led to a full time job teaching. So, thank you very much! You really helped and inspired me!

    Insightful and game changing
I first found Jessie and the Hello Monday podcast right at the start of the pandemic. I was trying to navigate leading a new team in a new job but at the same company, yet working from home so everything was on its head. The speakers, topics, and real conversations Jessie engages in have helped me grow as a leader and show up for my team in the best way. I recommend this podcast to my team and mentees regularly and look forward to every new episode! Thank you Jessie and team for saying “Hello” to us all and encouraging us to all challenge the norms in this new way to work!

Learning to find Joy in our work
Real people that will really connect with you! Excellent subject matters, great questions that draw us close to the human side of why we work, or rather why and how we find meaning and joy in our work. Thank you Jessi for your honesty and transparency, letting us know we’re not alone in the challenge of career/life balance. You have created a “real” safe space for a community that can be better together.

    So much insight
Hello Monday is delightful, full of insight, and informative on various levels. One person has the power to make a difference and Hello Monday ensures it’s listeners that they can do anything! While also providing resources, and people who have. I enjoy this show so much I shared it with my entire team. Might even make some episodes mandatory to listen to.

    Fantastic
So much actionable information and so many provocative ideas. Jessi knows how to draw out a story from a storyteller and help frame the lessons so the listeners can decide how to apply to their own lives. This year’s focus on reinvention couldn’t be more timely. Highly recommend.

    Love Hello Monday
I listen to Hello Monday every week, I love the guests and curation of speakers. Some of my all time favs were Debbie Millman 10 year plan and Robyn Arzon. Jessie is great and relatable, as a working mom with 2 babies abt the same age as her kids it is nice to hear her pandemic experience is similar to that of mine and others I am sure.

Great during job transitions, and beyond
I listened to Hello Monday a LOT while I was contemplating switching careers. It was my escape on many mornings while walking w my baby, before I had to settle into work at a job I was pretty sure I wanted to leave. I love how the show interrogates many aspects of how we work, which in turn helped me think things through and get unstuck.

The Ideas You Need to Take Action
Ive been a listener since day 1 and this show has given me the strategies and ideas to navigate my world of work. I recently quit my job at Apple to launch Designing Schools and I can literally point to a conversation in each episode that led me to make decisions. This is an incredible show where Jessi asks incredible questions that provide insight into both whats possible for you personally and the strategies you can apply as a leader or really anyone looking to make an impact and design today’s world of work. Coffee and Hello Monday are my favorite way to start the week

    Disappointed
Please do not call Latinos LatinX. Just stop. It was interesting to note that Beatriz Acevedo never used the term. It’s something coins by some woke academics, a term that all Latinos I know (and I am one of them) despise.

    Jessi is a great interviewer.

    Jubilant, smart, and wise work
Listening to this podcast is like listening to your super smart friends at the cafe on a Friday night and you just can’t believe how cool they are. The guests are so timely, and so well spoken. The questions and discussion are succinct and still free flowing. The research is always on point and easy to follow. The team are speaking into those questions of how we do work that fulfills us and how that work can help others, how it affects others, and effects change for good and/or ill in the workplace. It feels personal. It is important. I’m so grateful for the Hello Monday community. Even though I have not met any of the hosts or guests in flesh and blood: Jessi, Sarah, Michaela and the team are so clued-in and curious about Work and the people who do it that each episode feels specifically catered to me. The brilliance of this specificity is in their balance of generality and specific application of the guest’s experiences. Even as they explore other equally important questions about work and technology, Hello Monday is at its core, created by compassionate and curious people with a drive to make a real positive impact. That drive makes me (and many others) show up week after week to listen, and attend Office Hours (Weekly on LinkedIn News, Wednesdays at 3:00pm, where the hosts go live and talk about the podcast and engage in the community.) I am grateful for these co-creators and for that aspect of their person-hoods that is so evidently humane and jubilant in their work-doing.

    Short, sweet, and so relevant
Jessi has such a great speaking voice. You can tell she was a reporter as she asks very thought provoking and meaningful questions of her guests. I never miss an episode.

    So valuable!
I came here after a suggestion from Adam Grant’s podcast, Work Life. I’ve only listened to one episode, but I’ve already gotten SO much value. Can’t wait to keep listening. UPDATE: I don’t know when I wrote this original review, it was definitely pre-pandemic. I’ve come back to this show again and again since. The insight, inclusivity, and inspiration I get from Jessi and her guests is life-changing. I know that sounds over the top, but I just sent my boss an episode with a a full breakdown of how she’s doing some of the amazing things that were discussed. Me being able to recognize that helps me understand that I’m in a good place with my work relationships and this show has given me the language to identify that. Thank you Jessi and team.

Gives you what you didn’t know you needed
Currently 3:53 am and in my anxious state about an upcoming job interview I play jessi. When I hated my job I played jessi, when I thought the corporate world wasn’t fit for me I played jessi. When - not if you experience work anxiety… dive in. Thank you to the hello Monday team.
