    Wonderful
A great walk thru the many forms of religion. Very helpful to have a single reference point (Orthodoxy) to compare and contrast with. Also provides great perspective and allowed me to appreciate / be much less judgmental of all the alternatives. Some much needed polemic antitoxin. Thank you.

    Strong arguments
This gives deep insight into differences between the original Church and new developments in Christianity. Very gracious in its approach.

    Wonderfully-Constructed
Fr. Andrew’s ‘Orthodoxy & Heterodoxy’ podcast has been a great insight into the various religious traditions and faiths one may encounter in the post-Christian West. As an inquirer into Orthodox Christianity, it has been refreshing to hear charitable critiques of other faiths from the perspective of a traditional Christian.

    One of the best studies
this is one of the best comprehensive studies on religion I’ve ever listened to. I love its central theme on orthodoxy. Fr. Andrew, thank God, has led me on this path to orthodoxy, which in his faithful presence online, through Ancient Faith Ministries, and I couldn’t be more blessed and happy to learn more about the orthodox faith. You'll learn about the religions in the world and where they go wrong, but also and how they’re similar to orthodoxy. As Father Andrew says, they have continuities and discontinuities.

Best Way To Quickly Learn About Christianity In The West!
I recommend this podcast quite often to those that are confused on why there is such a divide amongst Christians. I’ve since ordered the book to read on my Kindle reader. If you study Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy you will learn most of the reasons why the Orthodox Church is ignored by many of those that participate in Heterodoxy.

    Excellent and accurate
As a former Protestant minister with a Master's degree in theology, and a convert to Roman Catholicism, I found These podcasts provided accurate and truly helpful summaries of the various strains of Christian and neo-Christian religions. I wish I had found this podcast a few years ago. My only criticism is the author assumes that the listener already knows Orthodoxy, and will be able to make comparisons to other faiths on the basis of the shared Orthodox understanding. I would have enjoyed a little more explanation of the Orthodox answer to the compared religions. But that is a very minor complaint. This series is one of my favorites.

    Some good and some bad
I want to start off that I did enjoy the podcasts even though I have a many issues with this podcast. If you want to know that the Orthodox believe and teach about what other faith groups believe and teach and how they argue against them then this podcast fulfills the bill. The problems I have with this podcast is that the speaker either was truly ignorant or purposely misrepresenting the position of other faith groups. For example I am a Catholic and if I had to put a percentage to what he said about the Catholic church's teachings were actually correct I would have to say about 25%. From my experiences with debating other faith groups (Protestants), I would say about the same percentage. In all reality I found it sad and depressing. Why? For any chance for reconciliation between the East and West to occur it requires an honest debate. You won't find one in this podcast regretfully. All you will find is Catholic/Protestant bashing and little to no honesty. IMHO, whenever you have to misrepresent your "opponent's" views in a debate to win it, you have already lost it. So in a sense what I came away with is the opinion that the Orthodox church cannot win an honest debate against the Catholic church so it has to misrepresent the positions of the Catholic church. I expect this type of tactic from some of the "anti-Catholic" Protestant/Evangelical apologists, but I expected more from my Orthodox brethren. Sadly I guess I am mistaken. I pray this isn't the case for the majority of Orthodox priests and apologist. If it is then unity is truly very far in the future. I pray for unity and I pray for the truth.

    A Must-Listen for Catechumens
If want to really understand how Orthodoxy compares and contrasts with the variety of Christian and non-Christian traditions out there, this series is a fantastic starting point. I'm a Catechumen and have learned more from listening to these episodes every night than from all the books I've read thus far - truly, this series is invaluable. Fr. Andrew is also a wonderful speaker.

    Wonderful and informative!
This is the best study of comparative theology that I've found, taught from the Orthodox perspective. Packed with information in an easy-going style that really brings to light many of the social and theological underpinnings we see in modern American life.

    A real eye opener!
This podcast really helps one to trace the movements away from the baseline Christianity of first thousand years of the Church. Thought processes so fundamental to Western thought are shown to be relatively recent philosophies in comparison to Orthodoxy. Excellent, excellent, excellent...
