Please hire someone else to edit the podcast episodes. The interruptions of the ads in the middle of conversations is NOT okay!!!!! Give your viewers a warning or a pause so that we know it’s coming. I am close to not listening anymore do this. It messes with my adhd. Fix the editing and I will give 5 stars!

The show is already good, but Jess makes it better!!!! UPDATE: So, as you can tell who I was advocating to get the third spot, but now I'm realizing that Jess may not have been the right pick. Since joining, she has lacked the energy she once had while fighting for the spot. Yes, I know she is pregnant, and the morning sickness and tiredness are a real thing, but millions of women still can do their job correctly and give 100%. I hope you guys are paying attention to the reviews and actively coming up with a solution because, at this rate, you will lose loyal listeners. Also, whoever does the editing should find another job or practice more.

Thank goodness for the fast forward button cause the length and frequency of these commercial breaks are getting ridiculous.

Love TBC. And I thought I was going to LOVE the new direction it was seeming to head. But Jess is like a 1st round pick that has so far, underperformed. Lacks depth honestly. And for a comedian, she’s not funny at all on the show. As a fan I say limit this contract to 1 year and try again next year. And she takes too much credit for TBC success. Y’all on top with or without Jess. She really makes me miss Yee. Definite downgrade.

Jess is too low energy for a morning show! She’s not polished or professional enough for TBC. She is bringing the show way down. Low energy. Low vibrations. We don’t want to hear about her morning sickness every day or how tired she is. She still can’t read, can’t articulate her thoughts or stay on task. Please make it stop. I’m forced to turn y’all off every day. Idk what the heck has gotten into CTG, he’s low vibrational too. I’m a long time listener. The show is garbage now. Thank goodness for DJ Envy and Tez. They are y’all’s only hope at this point.

I love The Breakfast Club, I especially love that Jess is on it because you need a balance between the two guys and she is a perfect match as well as keeping y’all in Check! I love how she’s open to many views, unapologetic about her life and not afraid to be real about it, and share it with others. I appreciate y’all, I was getting tired of Charlemagne brushing off the messy T with Envy lol, I have no problem listening to news. However, that’s not the only thing going on in the world and I appreciate Jess giving fun, intense, or controversial info from all over!

Here me out, I do not dislike Jess. She is very funny, but I do NOT like the new direction of the show. Try getting Angela Rye to come on more often. This show use to be so informative. I feel like I’m wasting life hours and brain cells listening now days.

I totally agree with the other post by Jujubumblebee on 2/29/24. Not sure why Jess was chosen as the new host to replace Angela Yee. She has poor grammar, uses slang, and always ill prepared for guest. Has added nothing to the show intellectually. Which demographic is the target audience of the Breakfast Club? They definitely will not attract NEW listeners. I used to love listening to this show, not anymore. This is a huge platform, please do better☮️

Jess should not have been selected as the co-host, she can’t read. Stumbles over all her words and don’t know what she talking about. The show has gone downhill tremendously since Angela left. Jess starting unnecessary beef, just because someone spoke about you doesn’t mean you use your platform and address them back. She’s drama and GHETTO. Plus they play commercials smack dab in the middle of a segment, editing is horrible. I’m done listening.

I was really enjoying this podcast until I heard Charlemagne say he disapproved of black men being with white women?? That to me is a form of racism against us. I love and embrace all cultures and believe we should all be that way. We all bleed red and we are all gods children no one better than the other. I love my african american husband and our mixed kids! Please have love and respect for all races.

Hey y’all. Show is still a bang and all, I’m still listening to it and will always be but the level of in deep analysis has fell off. Jess is a funny personality, a good comedian but not a good radio host. Her tone is just so mellow and she’s just not well articulated it comes to reading off things and just simply relaying a story. You can tell she’s not “highly educated” when she tries to spill out certain words. I feel like the real fit was Lauren Larosa but oh well. No hard feelings Jess!

Used to be good. Now this show fell off long time ago. Too much payola type topics. They sound like they are pushing agendas now. Less raw and more fake news and fake personas.

As a baltimoreian I love Jess. Always have. But I’m tired of hearing about her pregnancy. We don’t care. Don’t wanna hear about her morning sickness. There’s no reason to draw this out the next 6 months 🤦🏾‍♀️ when Charla & envy had babies coming at the same time we wasn’t getting daily updates .. let’s keep the same energy.

2/10/24 I haven’t listened to The Breakfast Club in years and only started listening again because of Jess, so give her that credit! Whoever edits these shows should be fired or better trained because why are you cutting to adds mid-sentence when someone is talking??!! Please do better!

Great job fact checking her statements about racism, especially after racist statements about Obama and her father’s treatment. She voted for Trump twice, enough said. We can’t take another Republican conservative Supreme Court appointee, or we will lose even more of our rights!

But I’m going to need the person who edits these to get it together. I’m so tired of the commercials interfering with the show. It’s like yall drop a random advertisement in the middle of a great conversation. Also anything there’s a music clip the breakfast could is playing and reviewing we can’t hear it. 1st time listener. Wanted to catch the Vivek episode. More conversations like this are necessary and needed. Great dialogue. Respectful of each other and each others opinions. No shade. Just an honest and open discussion and I appreciated that.

Yee missing

A fan of show but very disappointed in how Charlemagne interacted with the guest host Loren. It turned from funny to just mean and was reminiscent of old behavior. Started to feel immature and the show became harder to listen to. If he has a personal preference for guest cohost that’s fine but don’t tear someone else down in the process, especially when your platform has been focused on healing and putting out positive energy!

The podcast is awesome
