Was a little astounded to see the amount of dislike in the reviews but there’s too many people on Earth to please us all. Really enjoy the podcast keeps me entertained while at work, the bits & tangents are great it’s not just a bunch of facts thrown in your face, you get a few laughs or sometimes a bit of personal connection with the hosts. My suggestion to the folks who aren’t a fan due to that is to open a book & research the “facts” you seek so badly as the creators of this podcast have!

A fabulous example of the stopping power of a group of blithering idiots who in just a few short minutes can take what should have been an excellent topic and grind it quickly to an unlistenable mass of tangents and uninformed noise that provides little information and no entertainment. It did however induce my first ever review of a podcast so I guess it has that going for it!

I love this show. Automotive history is a fantastic idea for a show and leaves us with a huge catalog of awesome episodes. Keep it up guys!

James isn’t funny. He flat out isn’t. Every time he opens his mouth to discharge something he thinks is funny, he derails the episode and ruins the tone of the whole thing. You can tell Nolan works hard to research topics and cares about what he’s doing but James brings the whole thing to a grinding halt. It’s a comedy podcast that isn’t remotely funny basically, and only marginally useful if you’re trying to learn something and willing to put up with the hyena laughs and constantly repeating jokes.

I really wanted to like this, but the ratio of dumb frat boy to car info is unbearable.

The most annoying part about this show is the woman who keeps laughing in the background, some good content, but the F1 stuff has really played out.

Starts with 5 minutes of ads, before a short intro, followed by 5 more minutes of ads. Then 5 minutes of ads ever 10 minutes after that. Feels like they’re just burning time between ad reads.

I LOVE all of their content. I have watched their YouTube channel since 2020, and listen to the podcast every night now. Thank you guys.

In the slim chance this is is seen I would just like to say that the stories are awesome and I love all the jokes and humor that go on. Also the Donut YouTube is just as awesome. Go donut, Mo Powa BABY!!

Interesting stories, 5/5 performers, funny banters. The only negative point of this show is tons and tons of annoying ads throughout the podcast.

Go past gas

Love this podcast, hosts are the bomb, really to life the stories they tell. Personally enjoy all the accents and voices they do for characters in the stories.

I have listened to almost every episode of past gas and I truly love the show. I have learned so much from the stories told here and I also find it very entertaining! I have one suggestion though, 30 second limit to James tangents, as they tend to lose their comedic value after that.

Recently they just play to the annoying person laughing in the back of the studio. Old episodes are good, new ones not so much.

Very entertaining and the guys are hilarious!

It’s really good, I can learn about different people and companies but am not bored because of all of James’ and Nolan’s jokes. And be sure to remember: “it’s about cars, it’s not about farts.”

Good pod good YouTube channel

I’ve listened to a bunch of shows and have yet to see them have the ability to go more than 20 seconds without exhibiting some lame, immature attempt at humor. They act like a bunch of spoiled 14 year olds. And it’s a shame because the topics are usually pretty interesting. But they can’t deliver the content without ruining it. Imagine reading a really good book, but it’s written in crayon, some of the letters are backwards, etc.

i am down for all things donut, but this is just taking it to the best level possible. i think that it give non-car people an opprotunity to learn about the history of cars. it gives you the chance to laugh, too ( which i am usually down for, cars or not). do not let a five year old listen tho, because some of the jokes only adults will understand (and very dirty minded kids). overall, the best podcast i can find when i want to listen to something other than music. there are people saying james is the problem, but IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT THEN WHY LISTEN TO IT?! anyway, see you on the flip side! #MOPOWAHBABEH

I don’t really listen to podcasts but let me tell you if you like cars and all things about them then this is the podcast for you. Donut has always been my favorite car channel and they make this podcast so interesting with all my favorite people. I love it and recommend it to everyone!

25% of this show is ads… also James is so annoying like kick him off the show. Joe and Nolan like want to inform us which is good. James just keeps repeating a joke over and over again. What’s about all of the sex jokes?? Also keep the personal stuff down Apart from those flaws about this show it’s okay some podcasts are much better. If James gets his act together I will enjoy this podcast more. Thanks for reading. 👍

This is the only podcast I listen to, I live in minnesota and the weather is crazy it goes from 80degrees and sunny to 40 degrees and rainy so i spend some of my time listening to this.

Not sure what the problem has been lately but there have been a lot of very obvious audio issues. It’s starting to give the impression that they don’t care about the quality. At least have someone give it a listen before releasing it

Who would of thought heart pounding videos about cars released on YouTube could lead to a gut wrenching pod cast. The Kentucky Cobra never fails to strike fear and excitement into the mundane world of auto manufacturing. While Nolan’s velvety voice can make just about anything sound cool. Joe’s off topic comments can often times propel the show into a new genre of entertaining facts. Love the YouTube show, and the pod cast is a great addition. Just like throwing 20g turbo charger with 10cm hot side. It’s a big boost for the fans. Thank you.

I’m a long time fan of The Dollop and my son loves cars. He started watching Donut media videos on youtube so I investigated to make sure they have the ‘mom seal of approval’. Now I’m hooked on this podcast!

I started listening to this podcast a year ago, and now whenever I go to less Schwab and I hear their air tools I look up through the glass and think they’re angry and cursing out there. If you know you know.

Great mixture between informative and funny, james is funny, and Nolan and joe are great at the informative part. I will always love donut medias content

First off want to just say thank you for a high quality podcast and providing free content. I really like this show but think that it feels like a more relaxed up to speed, which is great but I think it needs to go a little more in detail. I agree with others that the amount of ads is quite a bit high; by extending the episodes with 20-30 mins more of in depth content I think will help flesh out the ads and make the episodes more enjoyable.

The Kentucky Kobra needs to kool it with the French accent. His 10 minute impression of Alain Probst made me stop listening to the first one of these ever.

I enjoy Donut Media on YouTube, have for years. I also listen to podcasts daily while at work. This is the third time I had to stop listening to an episode. James is funny on video, but he needs to understand these long “comical skits” don’t transfer well in audio, especially when I am trying to listen to Nolan tell a story. Thanks for all you guys do!
